“I doubt so” Brian snapped, pulling her close to himself as her heart began to skip fast towards him that she closed her eyes.
“Why are you acting naive towards me, aren't you an actress? You must be closer to men than this” he mocked, and she opened her eyes while dragging off her wrist from his grip and he smirked at her. She rubbed her wrist because it was hurting.
“Were you attempting to steal something? Or perhaps spy on me?” He pressed on.
“I'm not and stop suspecting me, okay?” She replied, trying to walk out, but he stopped her.
“Whose going to clean up the mess you created?”. Miss Lucy glanced around and bit her lips in regret, everywhere was having papers and this boss of hers was staring at her like a predator ready to devour her.
“Don't get it all mixed up here… I wasn't spying, I was just looking for a file” she defended as he drew close to her.
“How do you expect me to believe you?”
“Don't come closer, just stay right where you're, and I will do the talking” she requested moving backward. He turned his gaze from her and took a long glance at the paper scattered.
“If you have an organization, and you caught a worker doing this in your office, what will you do”
“I would sack him or her” she snapped, not even realizing he was referring to her. Brian raised an eyebrow at her and gosh he was mesmerizing to her that she almost fumbled in her words.
“I mean… I would…well…hear…her…side of the story” she stressed as she couldn't get her eyes off him. Wasn't he the one who was meant to be staring at her and getting this lustful desires that she was developing? She turned around and closed her eyes again, miss Lucy can't stand a chance with this man. She was the cruel miss Lucy, who doesn't fancy such lustful thoughts. Miss Lucy inhaled deeply and as she turned around again, she bumped into him and her head rested on his chest. She could feel his heartbeat slowly. Quickly, she pulled herself away before he did so.
“So what's my punishment?” She snapped with a frown. He wasn't even saying anything, which was pissing her off. Miss Lucy ogled her eyes at him, and he scoffed. She was acting awkward in front of him, which didn't suit her charisma.
“Don't touch my stuff without my permission” he cautioned, and she scoffed.
“Don't order me, I'm the secretary here” miss Lucy snapped, walking to the paper and kicking it with her feet.
“Just fire me already!” She beckoned while Brian smirked at her.

Miss Lucy wailed and kept complaining about her punishment.
“He's so cruel! How dear him treat me unfairly?” She cried holding a tray of fruit juice which was specifically prepared by her. Miss Lucy was serving all the workers whom she gathered at the meeting hall.
“Wow, what occasion is it?” They asked, surprised at this boastful lady.
“It seems as if it's going to be my last day with you all, so I want to treat you special” she replied and instructed them to wait for her command, so they could all drink it together as a team.
“She's not that bad to hang around with” tom suggested and everyone held the glass of fruit juice.
“Let's go” she ordered and everyone sipped it at once and in a rush spat it out on someone which left everyone terrified, the drink was disgusting, and they couldn't contain it in their throat. Brian was rushing into the conference room since he had told his secretary to organize some of the design teams which were 10 in number and immediately he stepped in, he felt something poured on him and when he looked up, he found the workers holding a cup of fruit juice and murmuring.
“We are doomed” the manager wailed, coughing loudly as there was a sudden silence. Without even asking any questions, everyone pointed at miss Lucy, who was covering her face with a tray. He glared at her and beckoned on her to follow him.
“What will happen to us?” Lilian, an assistant designer cried standing up.
“Let's wait for the verdict” the manager consoled.
“Jeez, this drink tastes horrible, what did she take us for? Pigs?” Grachi barked, dropping the glass on the table. She always says her mind.
“I feel like throwing up again” Tom confessed, running out of the room.
“She has just ruined my day” the manager concluded, dismissing everyone.
The boss and secretary kept silent for two minutes, besides no one was willing to talk. Miss Lucy sat opposite him, biting her lips. Anything she was going to say, this annoying boss of hers wouldn't listen. She just can't wait to return home and said,
“What's my punishment this time around because it seems you prefer not to have me fired”. Brian sighed at her, he had changed into another outfit, for the day. This woman was more than he could bear and yet still claiming right for what she did.
“Let me see” he thought and glanced at her while miss Lucy kept yelling.
“Seriously, not again!” She wailed inside, following Brian anywhere he went. She wasn't given a break, to her, she was more like a personal body guard carrying his files and attending any meetings he had for the day with officials. Miss Lucy was now doing the works of a secretary, which she despises so much because it was stressful. She was always looking at the computer to search for any out smarting idea to the boss and if he rejects it, she would stay up night just do the assignment given to her. It was now becoming part of her duties, and she often returns late. Now she needed a nanny who could stay with Julie because the poor child might feel lonely again. As for Julie, since her enrollment into school, she was making new friends. During her closure, miss Lucy always took permission to pick her up and after spending a little time with her at home, she returns to work. During this time, Julie would sneak out to hang out with her street friends.
