Julie ran up to miss Lucy, leaving Brian behind as she sat on the mat quietly while Brian followed suit.
“It's so beautiful hanging out around here together” Julie comments mischievously as both adults hummed with no emotions
“Why don't we try this some other day too?* Julie suggested with a smile and the adults shook their head together.
“When are you going back?” Brian asked not touching a meal.
“Sooner” she snapped staring at him as he was gazing at the time while avoiding her gaze.
“Let's work together” he muttered and miss Lucy scoffed at his request. Julie could hear what these two were discussing or probably because she was busy gaming on her phone.
“Are you in?” He questioned and she nodded in a swift. At least, someone was ready to help her out. They were done spending sometime together and Brian took them home. Julie has the first to step out of the car because she was dozy and tired. Who knows, she wanted this two to spend time together.
“Thanks” miss Lucy said with a smile, and he nodded. She was still sitting in the car and without Brian noticing it, she kissed him on the cheek. When felt her soft lips on his skin, he turned his gaze at her, but she had stepped out of the car. He scoffed and drove away without waving a goodbye. Guess miss Lucy wasn't going to hand him over her resignation letter again, but now she wants something from him which was his body. She attempted to control herself in the car but couldn't guess one of her dirty secret would soon be out. Miss Lucy walked into the bathroom staring at herself in the mirror as tears flowed from her eyes, she needed to control herself especially with Brian because it wasn't love but lust and something which was part of her. She suddenly imagined his bare skin before her and began to moan, wanting him so badly. Miss Lucy didn't want to sound stupid asking him for a night on bed at first meeting and perhaps, she had thought that he was going to fire her either way, but now he was, suddenly he was offering her his help. She winced and hated herself every moment when she felt this sexual urge for a male. Brian drove to the office since it wasn't over, he was expecting miss Lucy to come along and continue her duty. He rubbed his right cheek were this woman kissed him, feeling irritated.
“Argh! How long was this going to last” he groaned and just then Alisha walked into his office,
“Hey! Cousy” she beckoned to him, not expecting a reply.
“Seems like today, someone decided to pay a visit ever since she arrived from Los Angeles” he replied taking his seat.
“What's the chemistry going on between you and your secretary?” She unexpectedly asked while he smirked at her.
“There's no chemistry” he snapped, and she nodded. Alisha knew that he only loved one person, and that was keva.
“That reminds me…” She paused and then peeped to and fro. Her eyes meet the secretary's desk, and she smiled naughtily.
“I see some didn't get curtains for the glass frame because of someone” she commented and Brian sighed, he knew what she was driving at. Besides, Alisha teases everyone, but this wasn't the proper time.
"Where's it?” He asked, and she brought out a flash drive, handing it over to him.
“Thanks” he said to her and slipped it into his pocket.
“Why don't you want to stay at my place?” Alisha scoffed at his question while standing up.
“You know I love clubbing, and you hate such so please, let me have all the fun”
“Come on Alisha, don't go about sleeping with men again”
“I'm not seriously, I promise! I'm not that cheap, besides I've got the serious relationship now” she whispered taking her leave and Brian scoffed at her. Her relationships were never real because she breaks up after three months of staying together. After a while that she left, Brian could see someone's clothe that stuff out of his wall and as he rushed towards there, he found no one.
Someone was either spying on him or Alisha, which means none of them was safe. He hurriedly made a fall call to trace who the being was through the CCTV footage while he closes from the office, so he could watch the scene of keva's death.
Miss Lucy sat in the garden staring at the flowers which bloomed in pride as one couldn't take their eyes off their beauty. Her phone rang beside her, it was Brian who wanted to ask her some questions,, but she cut his call, why was he calling at this inappropriate time. He called back again, and this time, she answered.
“Can we meet, there's something you need to see” he muttered.
“I'm ill and can't make it, you could just tell me on the phone” she responded as her hands shook.
“It's not worth discussing on the phone and cut the cramp off, you're perfectly fine” he sneered.
“Where are we meeting?”. There was long silence and miss Lucy guessed he was thinking of somewhere.
“How about my house?” He said,, but she didn't reply, and he took her silence as a yes while switching off the phone.
“No” she wailed, scared of herself as she dropped her phone.
“I can't…we could discuss that in the office” she murmured, standing up as she paced to and fro.
“What if I just go, it won't take long, perhaps it's urgent and Vanessa would stay over with Julie, nothing is going to go wrong, you can do this Lucy” she recited pacing into the house and whispering to herself that everything was just going to be fine and besides Brian didn't seem like someone with dirty desires which meant she was fine by that. Miss Lucy looked at her phone and saw that Brian had sent his home address.
“You can do this” she encourages herself.
