"What did you say you do for fun again?"I asked Drystan, after spending hours doing nothing but staring at each other in the dining area after eating lunch.
He paused to think for a second before he shrugged his shoulders, "nothing? I don't get time to hang around doing nothing like today, but I do read and work out in my free time" he explained and I groaned loudly.
"You seriously do nothing fun all year long?" I asked again and he once again shrugged. I slapped my hand against my forehead, before sprawling out my upper body on the table.
I am used to spending all my time hanging out with my friends or reading during my free time, and now it feels weird to be couped up in the house doing absolutely nothing. I would have FaceTimed my friends, but unlike me, they have plans with each other which they made sure to tell me about in the morning.
I groaned again and sat up to glare at Drystan; who was just looking at me like a deer caught in a headlight, "Eliana what should we do? Suggest something" I mumbled to my wolf, who has reclined away from me since Elphaba's last visit.
"I don't know what to do" she replied simply and put up a wall between us, again. Her actions were beginning to get on my nerves but at the same time, her actions worry me greatly. She's never acted like this before and I can't get any information out of her when she keeps putting up a wall between us. I sighed at my situation and held my cheeks with my hands
"You know what?!" I blurted out all of a sudden, and startled Drystan "we both are going to do fun things today" I declared and he stared at me like I grew two horns.
"And how are we supposed to do that?" He asked when he snapped out of his trance, and I smirked at him.
"That's simple, you will have to make a list of fun places in the entire pack; from the first district to the tenth!" I exclaimed and he immediately tensed up.
"And what are you going to do with the list?"
I chuckled evilly at his words and rubbed my hands together "you will see" I mumbled "go ahead and make the list" I ordered and I saw him visibly gulp before he shook his head, whipped out his phone from his pocket and began typing.
"Here," he said and handed me the phone after typing. I took the phone from him and glanced through the list.
"The museum, amusement park, the movie theatre, stadium for late-night events, haunted field, fountain, flower field and Mufasa's hill" I read out and raised an eyebrow at the last place "Mufasa's hill?" I asked, amusement dancing in my eyes.
He rolled his eyes and mumbled "A really stupid name, I tell you"
"Thank you for making the list. Now, our plan for today is to visit all these places and take pictures! We should open a joined Instagram account". I said, mumbling the last part. He was about to say something but I immediately cut him off.
"We are going to start with the movie theatre, then the amusement park, flower field, then the fountain and Mufasa's hill and finally we will visit the museum" I completed and stared at him, quietly daring him to counter what I said.
But to my astonishment, he simply asked "why are we visiting the museum last?"
"Umm.." I started, "I'm not a fan of museums so I'll rather visit it last" I explained and he nodded in understanding.
"Okay, but you didn't include the stadium and haunted forked."
"Do you really want to visit those places with me, especially the haunted field?"
He paused and thought of the question before he slowly shook his head, and a smile appeared on my face "Good, so let's just visit the rest and keep it for next time" I suggested and he once again nodded.
"Now that we agree, let's go get dressed"
"Alright," he said and stood up, he was about to leave but I stopped him and just stared at him in confusion.
"You aren't going to protest and say you'd rather stay at home?" I asked.
"Why? I'm equally bored and want to leave this house, and you know you can be a pain in the ass so why bother?" He replied and a knowing smile appeared on my face
"You're finally learning" I muttered and ruffled his hair, he immediately slapped my hand out of his hair and glared at me before he turned around and marched up the stairs. I smirked at his retreating figure before I skipped up the stairs into my room to change.
I searched through my closet for a proper outfit before deciding on a red polka-dotted sundress, and a pair of white cans. I entered the bathroom and quickly washed up before changing into my outfit, I applied a bit of makeup and packed my bag.
When I was satisfied with everything, I walked to the mirror to get a proper look at myself. A sigh of contentment left my lips as I stared at myself through the mirror, the sundress wasn't too tight on me neither was it too loose and my makeup was simply and naturally applied. I gave myself a thumbs up and chuckled at my antics.
"Eliana, I don't know what's been up with you, but you always have me to count on. I wouldn't bother you to tell me but I hope you have as much fun as I will" I mumbled to her, hoping she would reply me cheerfully but when a few seconds passed and I got nothing but silence in return, I puffed out a breath in annoyance. "It's fine, take your time" I reassured her and picked up my bag, and immediately left the room.
Drystan and I stepped out of our rooms at the same time, we both paused at the door and immediately turned to stare at each other. He slowly locked his door and stood up straight, while my eyes slowly trailed down his body; he dressed in a pair of black jeans and a white T-shirt that fitted him perfectly, he completed the look with a pair of white cans, and damn he looks so hot! I awaited Eliana's squealing over his looks, but when it didn't come, I sighed in disappointment and decided to appreciate the hotness alone.
My eyes once again raked over his body, before they settled on his face, and surprisingly he was staring at me. We both stood rooted in our spots and just speechlessly stared at each for a few seconds, but Drystan broke the silence by smiling softly and mumbled "You look beautiful"
I was taken aback by his compliment, but quickly discarded my surprise and smiled back brightly at him "Thank you, and you look handsome as well" I complimented back and his face brightened even more
"Shall we?" He asked, offering his arm to me.
I nodded in response and linked our arms together as we both left the house, but one question repeatedly nagged at the back of my mind as we walked out of the house "is this a date?"
