2I stood up and went to my closet, hoping to find something decent to wear out. I brought out blue ripped jeans to change into, I decided to stick with my white hoodie it was pretty cold outside anyway. I combed my hair making the hair pop out, I applied lipgloss, put my; phone, keys, and card into my bag, and then went downstairs. "I'll be going now," I said to my parents who were hanging out in the living room
"Alright hun, have fun," mum said with a smile on her face.
"Be back early"
"I will," I said and opened the door to leave but halted "can you please set up a meeting for Drystan, Derick, and I, on Friday?" My parents exchanged a glance and my dad's face morphed into a scowl.
"Why do you want to meet those bastards?" He hissed and I rolled my eyes.
I shook my head at his outburst and calmly replied 'You know why Dad" he glared at me the moment I replied and I rolled my eyes again and turned to mum, with the hope that she would at least understand me and go through with what I asked, and to my relief she nodded. A smile appeared on my face immediately and I blew her a kiss, and my dad growled at my excitement but I ignored him.
"Thanks, love you," I said gratefully to my mum and dashed out and blocked my dad out of the mind link before he would stop me.
I headed straight to the garage and released a breath of relief when I saw my car, I opened it immediately and sat down. I honestly don't know why I told my parents to set up a meeting on Friday, which is practically 2 days from now! When I don't even know the purpose for it or how to handle it "I think we both know the purpose for this" Eliana said calmly and I sighed again, of course I know the reason. I'm just not ready.
"An Alpha is never not ready" I muttered to myself in alliance with Eliana, the faster I get the entire marriage thing done, the better. I started my car and drove off, heading to Sunshine Cafe, where I planned on meeting my friends.
I arrived there in 10 minutes and quickly ran in. The cafe wasn't filled up just like I expected, I looked around wondering if any of them has come or if I'll have to find a spot for us when I saw a red-haired girl; who I immediately identified as Stacy, waving at me frantically. "Heyy" I greeted as I walked up to them, taking the vacant spot between Lucy and Stacy, facing the boys.
These four are the only people I have as friends and I truly appreciate that and wouldn't trade it for anything. The diversity in our species made our friend group more interesting. Stacy is a red-haired crazy human girl, with a sharp ass mouth. She's about 5'6ft tall and would never agree with anyone that she's short, she once kneed a dude when he repeatedly called her short. She has cute freckles all over her face and that made us nickname her, sassy freckles, and she's dating Malcolm.
Lucy is the chilled laid back one, way too chilled for a witch; well that is until you push the wrong buttons. She's about 5'5ft making her the shortest of the group. She's the prettiest of us girls with blonde hair and grey eyes, having curves in all the right places but she'll never agree to the fact that she's so pretty, and that always gets on my nerves.
As for the boys, they are basically the same person trapped in different bodies with Malcolm being black and a Werewolf like Dave and I, he has honey brown eyes and brown hair that covers his eyes majority of the time. While Dave is the typical fantasy dream with eccentric blue eyes and blonde hair. They both are over 6'3ft towering over us girls, and they two are also members of my pack.
"What's up, dudes?" I said smiling at them, Stacy immediately wrapped her arms around my neck and started choking me.
"Told you to watch your back Were!" She yelled, still choking me. The rest burst into laughter while watching me struggle for my life in the hands of this insane girl.
"Not my fault you are a human!" I managed to voice out in between her hold, and she just rightened her grip on my neck. I began tapping on her hands furiously when I felt her cutting off my airflow.
"Bitch" she muttered and let me go "I would have killed you but I just love you so much," she said and pulled me in for a hug and I sighed, she's just way too bipolar.
"Excuse me, would you all like to order now?" A petite young girl that looks around age, asked. We all immediately placed our orders while she jotted them down in her notepad, when we were done she nodded and left.
"What you been up to? Heard Derrick is getting married in 2 months and the girl isn't you" Lucy stated and all eyes immediately turned towards me, making me release a deep breath.
"Yeah, he called off the marriage"
"That son of a cunt" Lucy muttered underneath her breath.
"I'm so going to inject him with silver mixed with stardust," Stacy said calmly and we all turned towards her with wide eyes; including the boys that were previously fisting their hands in anger.
"You will do no such thing," Dave said and she just rolled her eyes at him.
"Yeah, Stacy. You can't even get to him, let alone get stardust." she looked at me with a sly smile and scoffed. The rest of us looked at each other terrified, we just have to make sure she actually doesn't do it, because looking at her right now, she will definitely do it if given a chance.
"So what's the plan now?" Malcolm asked; his palms joined together while his elbow rested on the table. I made to reply to him when the waitress from before placed our orders in front of us, "thank you" we all chorused.
"Well, he proposed I get married to his Beta instead" I replied the moment the waiter left.
"That asswipe!" Dave seethed taking me by surprise.
"You know what Stacy, just go ahead and do what you planned. We will be there to help you" Malcolm said, earning a nod of approval from Dave and Lucy while Stacy smirked in satisfaction.
"Guys! Guys! It hasn't gotten to that. I already accepted the proposal"
"Why would you do such a thing!?" Lucy whisper-yelled.
"It's the best for me," I said quietly and spent the next few minutes explaining the reason to them, while they ate silently.
"Okay, but how will you manage to do all this without leaking to the press that you were rejected by that psycho? you know how the media is always all up in Alphas' business. You might have kept your engagement hidden for years, but this is too big of a news" Dave stated
I took a bite of my food and smiled at him "I'll be meeting up with them on Friday, we can go over everything during the meeting" they all nodded, and that brought an end to the topic, making me sigh in relief.
"Damn, I hate Derick for having us go through this" Eliana said and I nodded in agreement.
"He's a total jerk"
"I need to go on a hunt and run" I chuckled at Eliana's request, she always wants to hunt when I release her to run even tho she won't even be able to eat whatever she gets from the hunt.
"Sure" I agreed, if it will make her feel better then I'm in. I felt the excitement radiating from her in my head, making me all giddy and I immediately blocked her out and turned my focus back on my friends.
I spent a few more minutes with my friends, talking about random topics and passing time, and I began wondering why I didn't call them earlier, when that cunt dissolved our alliance, they would have made me feel so much better.
"Okay guys, I'll see you all later" I waved at them as I entered my car and zoomed off. We had spent at least 2 hours with each other, but they planned on spending the rest of their evening at the park and I wasn't down for that. I have things I need to attend to.
"I'm home" I announced as I walked into the house.
"Dining room" my mum replied from the dining and I headed over there "welcome love, how was it?" She asked sitting on one of the chairs, a cookbook in her hands.
"It was nice," I said sitting beside her "where's Dad?"
"He went for a meeting," she said and smiled at me "and, your meeting with Derick and Drystan has been set up. Friday, 5 pm, Beverly hills" she informed me and I gave her a small nod of appreciation.
"Alright then," I said, standing up to head out "and mum I'll be going for a hunt and run this evening, please cancel my training" she dropped the book on the table and stared at me for a while, her eyes calculating and scrutinizing my face before she sighed and nodded.
"Be back before 8 pm" I smiled and placed a quick kiss on her cheek.
"I will" with that, I walked out of the house and headed straight to the forest right behind the house, I took my time; walking slowly to the forest when I felt Eliana getting all worked up in my head.
"Walk faster! I'm getting impatient" she whined in my head and I let out a laugh but picked up my pace anyway. I ran behind a tree and removed my clothes, leaving myself in my underwear.
I closed my eyes and started running; imagining Eliana's black and big wolf form taking over while I kept running, a howl of pain and satisfaction escaped my lips as I dropped on all fours.
"That's a good one," I thought to myself as I stared at my black paws, and without wasting any more time, Eliana took over and ran off in a random direction. "Make sure we are back home by 7" I muttered to her before fully giving up control.
