Aiden's POV.

I was seating at my desk in my office in the company, I was trying to read through some proposals from other companies who wanted to work with us.
I had been reading the documents for hours but just couldn't Concentrate as my mind was elsewhere.
I had been thinking about Mary's words early this morning.
To be honest, I feel very guilty but, what could I do?
I hoped she understood me better but well...
I had never felt so helpless in my life and I must say, it's not a good feeling.
I took my coffee cup and drank all the contents of it.
Mary has never been so mad at me like this before which is getting me all worried.
We had little arguments in the past but it was never as serious as this. Perhaps that's why I am feeling so worried and stressed out.
I couldn't stop myself from making a call to the house. The call was picked up by the butler.
" Hello, Butler Rohit? "
" Good afternoon, Master. "
" How is Mary doing today? "
" She's fine. She left early for school today. " He informed me.
" Oh, How about Miss Malisa? " I couldn't stop myself from asking.
" Oh, she's currently in her room. "
" Okay. Do inform me When Mary gets back from school. "
" I'll, Master. "
" Alright, I'll be hanging up now. "
" Bye, Master.." He said as the call ended.
Instead of feeling at ease by the call, I felt more guilty, Perhaps it's because the butler informed me that Mary went to school earlier today which was quite unusual.
" Is it because she's very mad at me that she went to school earlier? "
I looked at the time and when I realized that it was already a few minutes past noon.
I recalled Mary's words from earlier this morning. << Even Doctors recommend resting for at least eight hours daily but not only do you not care about Eating healthily, but you also don't sleep up to 5hrs! Do they think you are a robot who can go on without sleeping? What would happen if you suddenly collapse? What would I do then? >>
I couldn't deny the fact that she was right, I indeed don't eat healthily. While in the office, I take Coffee and I only eat when I get back to the house late in the night.
I decided to change this once and for all and I'll begin that from today onwards.
I closed the documents I was reading and then stood up and walked out of my office. I went to my PA's Office and I saw the surprise in his eyes when he saw me. " President. " He straightened up.
" Umm... I am heading to the cafeteria, now. Are you free so we can head there together? " I asked him.
" I am, President. " He walked out of the office and soon we started walking.
We took the Private elevator.
Minutes later we arrived at the parking lot.
" Umm.. do you Know any nice Restaurants around here? " I asked him.
" Well, I Know, President but it's a 30minutes journey from here. " He replied.
" Oh, that would be a long journey indeed. What about the company's cafeteria? That's where you eat lunch right? "
" Yes, President but I don't think you would like the food there. "
" Why? " I asked him confusedly.
" Well.... "
" Good afternoon, President. " An old voice echoed in the garage and we turned to the source of the voice.
It was none other than the Chef of the restaurant we were talking about.
" Afternoon, Chef Fredrick. " I replied.
" I am sorry for interrupting your conversation, President but while you both were discussing. I couldn't help but hear bits of it. "
" Oh. "
" Did the restaurant have anything special cooked today? " My PA asked.
" Yes, it's the cassoulet dish. "
" Okay. " He turned to his PA. " let's head over to the private Restaurant then.
[ A/N: Cassoulet: slow-baked beans, sausage, preserved duck, and tomatoes. ]

When the trio entered the restaurant it caused a stir especially among the employees of the company.
They weren't that Suprised to see Adien's assistant or the chef but were Suprised to see President Adyen himself.
They were aware that President Adyen doesn't like eating out and so they were quite Suprised to see him in the company's restaurant.
Some of the employees who hadn't seen the president in person but only heard about him, Swooned over him. They were aware that he was very handsome but they didn't know it was up to this level!
He could be an international supermodel with his looks!
The women tried gaining his attention but he completely ignored them and went with his PA into the private room in the restaurant.
As soon as they were out of sight, some of the employees began to gossip.
Employee A: Oh my! President is so handsome! I wish I could spend a night with him!
Employee B: In your dreams. I heard a rumor once that he's gay.
Employee C : ( drops her fork on the plate and turned to look at her ), How do you know that?
Employee B: isn't it obvious? He hasn't been rumored to have a lover or a girlfriend, so it can only mean one thing, he's gay.
Employee C: What if he has a girlfriend but keeps their relationship a secret?
Employee A: And why would he do that?
Employee C: Why wouldn't he? What if you girls that are so obsessed with him decide to harm his precious girlfriend in the name of being in love with him, uh?
Employee B: Why are you on the side of the president? Don't tell me you are one of his side chicks, I guess that should explain why you are so sure of his sexual orientation.
Employee C : ( face turns red in anger ), You...!
Employee A: it's okay, Whether our president is committed or not shouldn't be any of our business after all it's not like we can do anything about it. We can only dream about him but can never have him, ( she emphasized on the ' Never ' )
The other two became quiet after hearing her, they hated to admit it but she was right. Their president is out of reach for them and that's the bitter truth.
[ A/N: I wonder how they'll react when they find out who their future madam is. ]
