Chapter 25
On getting home, they all alighted from the car, entered the house before they began walking upstairs to their rooms.
When Mary and Malisa were about to head to their rooms on the west wing when, Aiden's voice stopped them, " Please, Wait. " They both paused their steps and turned to look back at him.
Seeing their hands still joined together he sighed inwardly, " Em, Malisa can you come to see me in the study after freshening up? " He said trying to keep his voice as soft as possible to avoid scaring the girl.
Malisa and Mary stared at each other before they turned back to him, " Alright, I'll.." Malisa Replied softly.
" Okay. " Aiden placed his hands back into his pants pockets before turning to head to his room on the east wing.
Malisa and Mary then went to separate their rooms.
When Malisa got to hers, she sat down on the bed as she thought about what happened today and Aiden's words.
" I wonder why he wants to see me. " She pondered.
Anyways, she stripped out of the clothes she wore before heading to the bathroom where she took a quick shower before changing into a homey brown knee-length dress.
After drying her long dark hair with a hairdryer, she packed it up in a bun with a flowery hair bow then she wore her slippers and left the room.
She at first thought of taking a short nap before going to the study but decided against it as she didn't want to keep him waiting.
Aiden was working on some company important documents when he heard a fairy knock on the door.
" Come in. " He said to the knocker and almost immediately, the door opened slowly and Malisa came into View.
She walked slowly into the room.
" You can have your seat, " He told her and she did rather slowly.
" Um, firstly, I would like to apologize again for what happened earlier today at the mall. " He said trying to lighten the atmosphere.
" It's alright. You don't have to apologize continuously since it's not your fault. " She replied.
" Um. So I heard from my sister that your dream has always been to be the best-selling Writer and a Famous Singer. " He began.
" That's right. " She smiled.
Aiden was dazzled for a moment seeing her smile, she looked extremely breathtaking when she smiled, " oh, so do you have any plans on how to achieve your dream? "
" Um.. not yet. "
" Okay, how about I help you achieve your dreams? "
" How? "
" It's nothing much. You just need to study hard to pass the college entrance examination then you'll gain admission into the college to study the course you want. "
" Oh, but I don't have any experience. "
" You do. I heard from my sister how You spend the whole day studying and reading. "
" Hm, yeah but --- "
" You don't have to Worry, we'll hire private tutors or you can also study online if you want. "

" I wonder why you are so nice to me. " Malisa said slowly, she had been thinking of this ever since the first day, no one had had ever been this nice to her without having an ulterior motive.
" Well, I also have a selfish motive for being this nice. " He revealed.

" Alright. " She stood up and was about to leave when something from the documents he was going through caught her eyes.
" Um... Are you planning to do business with Cameroon? " She asked.
" Yes, but how do you know? "
" Well, I do understand French though I can't speak it fluently like the natives. " She replied.
" Oh wow! I wasn't expecting that. "
" It's obvious. "
" So are you the one assisting Mary with her french assignments? I noticed that she's getting more interested in understanding french on a more advanced level. "
" Well, I won't say that I am the brain behind it all as she's also putting lots of effort too. "
" You are very humble. "
" Thanks, I'll take that as a compliment. "
" Um, it's good that you understand French. It will be much of a help to you. "
" I guess so, Umm... I will be leaving now. "
" So soon? " The word came out of his mouth before he realized it.
" Yeah. I have to help Mary with her literature assignments. "
" Okay. I hope it's no trouble for you. "
" It's isn't. "
" Alright, if you say so. You are free to leave. "
" Hm, thank you. " She smiled faintly as she turned to leave.
When she left, The scent of her perfume Still lingered and Aiden couldn't help but sniff it.
Now, he just realized why Mary loved her so much. She was just too humble, nice, and warm.
He couldn't help but want to have her to himself.
