Slowly but steadily, Malisa opened her eyes and slowly began to adjust to the light in the room.
She sat up and looked around, she was in a daze for a while before she recalled everything that happened.
She had never felt so pain free during her periods as she often had to go around bearing the pain as no medicines were recommended in her village for it.
It's believed there that since the pain is part of being a woman then women just had to bear it no matter how painful it was.
Cruel right?
She never thought it to be a cruel act then but she do now.
' I guess I need to thank, President Evans for his help. ' she thought.
Remembering what happened earlier, she felt a lot amused.
She still couldn't believe what she saw, she never imagined that he had this side to him.
She then stood up and t went to the washroom to Shower, change her clothes and Sanitary napkins.
After doing her business, she came back into the room, she was about to lie back on her bed when she heard her stomach grumble.
' I guess I am hungry now. ' she said glancing at the clock.
' I missed lunch. ' she thought when she saw that the time was currently 4pm.
' I can't believe that I actually slept for Six hours! '
Though it wasn't that suprising as that's how she often sleeps.

Malisa was still pondering on the thought of whether she should go down on or not when her room door was opened all of a sudden and Mary walked in her school uniform, which was A white shirt and pink pinafore skirt, a white socks and brown sandals were on her feet. She looked so young just like her age in the uniform.
" You are back from school, Mary. " Malisa commented as the latter approached her and embraced her.
" I am, Sis. How are you feeling now, sis? "
" Am fine? " Malisa was confused by her question.
Mary scratched her hear sheepishly as she answered her question, " Well, I eavesdropped on the maids conversation on how my brother went personally to the kitchen to instruct the cook to make some brown sugar for you. "
Seeing that Malisa didn't seem satisfied with her answer, she continued, " I went to my brother's study and saw him in a daze and when I inquired of him what was wrong he finally revealed it to me. "
" Oh... "
" So did my brother really take care of you? "
" Yeah, I guess. "
" You Know, Sis. The last time my brother entered the kitchen was years ago when we first lost our parents. After that he never entered the kitchen. "
" Oh.. "
" Anyways, he asked me to give you this. " She said handing Malisa a small box Filled with some black nuts.
" What's this? " Malisa asked Mary curiously.
" Just some walnuts. My brother said it reduces cramps so... "
" Oh, thanks. "
" I guess I'll have to inform my brother to propone the outing for now. " Mary said while sighing a little.
" Outing? " Malisa asked quite Suprised.
" Yeah, remember I told you about the brother sister hangout that we do monthly? "
" Oh, when then do you want to propone it? "
" Well, I was thinking of making you tag along but since you aren't feeling well now, I guess I have no other choice but to propone it till next time. "
" You don't have to propone it. You guys can go, I'll be fine. "
" No, I don't agree. "
" Mary, I don't want to be a burden. I don't want to be the reason why you guys won't be able to perform your monthly ritual so please go. I'll feel very guilty if you don't go. "
" But, Sis...! "
" Please listen to me, Mary. " Malisa said grabbing her hands.
Mary appeared helpless, " I'll ask my brother for his opinion. " She said and when Malisa nodded she stood up.
She was just about touching the door handle when the door opened from the outside revealing Aiden in homey clothing.
" Hey brother, you are here! I was just about coming to you! " Mary was indeed very surprised by his sudden appearance.
Malisa who heard her words stared at the door and was also Suprised to see him.
" Hm.. yeah. " He replied, " Can I come in, Malisa? " He asked while staring at her.
" Um.. you can. " Malisa said giving him the permission.
Aiden nodded as he walked into the room and approached her, " How are you feeling now, Mali? " He asked slowly.
' Mali? ' Both Malisa and Mary were Suprised by the name, is it a nickname now or what? They couldn't understand.
" I am feeling quite alright now. Thanks for earlier and for the Walnut. " Malisa said with a grateful Smile.
" It was nothing. " He replied as they continued staring at each other in silence.
" Em.. brother, I was thinking of proponing the usual outing but, Sis Malisa said I shouldn't. What's your view? " Mary said breaking the silence.
" Let's just propone it to some other time. " His answer shocked the both of them to the core.
" Ah! Really, Brother? " Mary was the first to react.
" Yeah, you planned for the three of us to go right? And since Malisa can't go then I think it's better we propone the outing. "
" But, you don't have to do this. " Malisa said guiltily.
" It's alright, Sis! We don't mind! "
" You don't have to Worry, Mali. You don't have to feel guilty as I also have work to do. "
" But - "
" Why don't we do something else instead, sis? We can both watch some movies on Netflix. " Mary said interrupting her.
" Whatever you say. " Malisa said.
" So, I'll be in my study. Call me if you need me. " Aiden said glancing at the two.
" Sure. "
" Alright. "
" Hm. " Aiden stared at Malisa one more time Making the latter blush. He then gave a smirking smile before leaving the room.
Their interaction didn't escape the super observant Mary's eyes.
She smiled happily seeing this, ' I really don't have to work that hard to bring them together. ' she thought inwardly.
