Minutes later.
Mary and Malisa both entered Aiden's study.
While Mary was wearing homey clothes, Malisa on the other hand was putting on a pink Givenchy suit which made her look more professional and mature.
" Brother, we are here! " Mary announced their presence, attracting the attention of Aiden who was busy checking some documents.
" Oh, " He looked up and was immediately awestruck by Malisa's appearance, " You look very professional in the suit. " He couldn't help but comment.
" Thank you. " Malisa said.
" Um.. let's get ready now, the meeting is starting in five. " He said clearing his throat.
" Okay. "

With Malisa and Aiden sitting side by side in front of the laptop on the study table, the video conference meeting began.
The executives of the Chinese company finally appeared, they were all seated in a meeting room.
Seeing them, Malisa felt a little nervous, this was the first time she was going to be communicating with people from Asia, what made her more nervous was the fact that they were all looking very serious.
Aiden who noticed her nervousness moved his hands to hold hers, he then gave it a gentle squeeze, Malisa turned to him and he used his eyes to assure her that's it's gonna be alright.
When everyone was ready the meeting finally began, " Good day, President Evans. " The Chinese executives greeted him.
" Good day to you too, President Yichuan and Everyone else. " He replied.
" Um.. may I ask who the lady beside you is? " President Yichuan inquired, though he said it politely the displeasure in his eyes wasn't hidden.
" Err, She's Malisa Bree. My Translator... " He introduced.
" Oh.. "
" Good day, all. " Malisa said with a smile.
Though President Yichuan seemed a little unsatisfied with her he decided to let it go, " Now that we all are ready, let the meeting begin. " He said and they all nodded.
As Evan's corps also dealt in High tech, the Chinese Company, Yichuan's Group which was the most popular technology company in Beijing China wanted to Corporate with them so they would create new technology.
While Evan's dominated the European nations, Yichuan Group dominated Asia so the two large companies partnering up will be beneficial to them both.
Aiden didn't need a translator for this meeting, as they were all conversing in English but often the executives do communicate with each other in Chinese and that's where he needed Malisa's help.
Malisa being the good girl she was did her job efficiently by translating it all to him, she also took notes of some of the key things being spoken about.
Two hours later, the meeting Ended. " President Evans, We'll be expecting your reply. Hoping for a positive response from you. " President Yichuan said.
" Um.. thanks for your time. "
" Yeah, same here. "
" So, we'll be sending the conference now.. "
" Yeah... Can I ask you a question, President Evans? "
" Ask. "
" Where did you get such an Efficient and Dedicated Translator from? "
" Why should I tell you that? Are you trying to poach her from me already? "
" No. I wouldn't dare. "
" Anyways, I guess there's nothing left to talk about. Good day. " Aiden said and ended the video.

He rested his back on the chair and closed his eyes trying to relax, he stayed like that for minutes opening back his eyes.
" Do you trust them? " Malisa's sudden question made him pause.
" Why are you asking that? "
" Well, I just wanted to Know. "
" Um... They wouldn't do anything they would regret. " He replied.
" If you say so. " Malisa paused before continuing, " Here are the key things I wrote down. " She said handing over a notebook to him.
" Okay. " Aiden took the book from her and glanced at it, looking at the beautifully written Points, he couldn't help but comment, " You've got very beautiful handwriting. "
" Really? Thanks. "
" Did the handwriting come naturally or did you Practice it regularly? "
" Well,.. it didn't come naturally though as I often Practice to improve my handwriting for thirty minutes daily. "
" Why do you do this? "
" There's no particular reason behind it. Since I had nothing much to do I thought of improving my handwriting. "
" So since when have you been practicing it? "
" As long as I can remember. I also Practice Writing the Chinese language from time to time. "
" Wow! You are indeed amazing, Mali. "
" Thanks for the compliment, though don't think I am that amazing as you claim. There are lots of people who can do better "
" I know, alright? " He stared at her as he replied, " But you can't deny the fact that you are also unique in your way. "
" I know and that's what makes every one of us special: our uniqueness. "
" Hm. Thanks again for your help. " He replied sincerely.
" It was nothing compared to the help you have done for me. " She pursed her lips.
" I don't want you to feel indebted to me though. "
" I know, but I just can't help it. "
" It's quite obvious. "
" I guess I have to go now. It's almost time for Mary's English grammar lessons. " Malisa announced standing up.
" You tutor her in English grammar too? "
" Yeah. I noticed that she's not good at that part of English so I offered to help her with it and she agreed. "
" Oh, that's very kind of you. Thank you. "
" It's nothing. " Malisa Replied in a humble tone.
" If you say so. Do inform me if you need anything. "
" I'll. " Malisa Replied with a smile as she began advancing towards the door.
Staring at her retreating figure, Aiden suddenly felt a longing in his heart, he didn't want her to leave his sight, " Please Wait, Mali. " He called out to her before he could stop himself.
" Yes? " Malisa who was about to unlock the door, Paused.
" Can we have some tea later this weekend if you are free? " He asked carefully.
Malisa pondered on his request before replying, " Sure. "
" Okay. " He sighed in relief.
Not bothering to stay for any longer, Malisa unlocked the door and walked out.
Aiden still had his eyes fixed on her till she was no longer in sight.
' Geez! What's Wrong with me? Why Is my heart always beating fast when she's close? ' He wondered.
