Mary noticed something weird going on...
Firstly, her brother who usually leave home very early in the morning all of a sudden decided to stay for breakfast...
And her sister, Malisa who always preferred to have her meal in her room also decided to have breakfast at the dinning table too...
She also noticed that the duo kept staring at each other...
Her, sis malisa practically blushed all through Breakfast while her brother chuckled multiple times which is really unusual...
What's going on? She wondered...
Since she didn't want the duo to suspect anything...she didn't interrogate them and allowed it to be.
At school, she met up with one of her trusted seniors and inquired of her about what was going...
Though, Mary tried as much as possible not to get too close with anyone at school... But she found this senior of hers very interesting...
Not only was the latter very intelligent, Smart, matured and pretty... She was also very loving and caring...
Sometimes, Mary even wondered how beautiful it'll be to have her as a blood sister...
" Hey there, little Maria! " The senior who was putting on a yellow knee length dress with her long hair tied up in a pot tail, greeted her enthusiastically.
" Hello Sis, Gabi! " Mary said walking towards her and taking a seat beside her
" So how is your day going, Mari? "
" It's going great! What about yours, sis? "
" Pretty well! "
" Hm... "
Mary found herself staring at her, and for the first time she found her familiar... She looked a lot like someone she knew...
Unlike others here in Paris, France... Gabi was brown skinned... And had dark long hair...
Wait, isn't that just like, Sis Malisa?
" Wassup, Mari? Why are you staring at me like that? "
Mary didn't realize that she had been staring too long at Gabi until the latter spoke up.
" Am sorry... It's just that you look like someone I know... " Mary replied with a pursed lip.
" Oh... Well... I have heard people say that... It's normal I guess. "
" Yeah... By the way, You haven't told me your nationality yet, sis... "
" Well... That's supposed to be a secret. All I can tell you is that I am from the African continent... "
' Just like, Sis Malisa... ' Mary unconsciously thought.

" I am pretty sure you came to meet me for a different reason, am I right? "
" Yes... Sis... "
" Okay... " Gabi abandoned the book she was reviewing and placed all her attention on Mary...
" Actually I have a question to ask you... "

" Well... I have got two friends, a guy and a lady... They are both older than me... "
Mary intentionally didn't reveal who their identities are... As she has learnt from her brother not to trust people so easily...
As if understanding that, Gabi nodded and urged her to continue.... " Okay... So what happened between them? "
" They aren't that close as they always kept their distance... But recently I noticed that they are more closer than before... They keep staring at each other... Chuckling and blushing at every little thing... "
" What's more amusing about this is that, This two who are always awkward around each other are now so free around each another... I find myself wondering what went right and what brought them together... "
Gabi thought carefully before she spoke up, choosing her every words wisely... " I think they talked things out with each other without you knowing and found out that they actually had a lot in common... Perhaps this helped them in settling their differences and got them closer... "
" Oh... That's not really hard to guess... But I didn't expect them to become so close as they don't have much in common... "
" Well... You never know... "
" Yeah... But do you think this is a good thing? "
" Yup... It is. "
" Are you sure they won't begin to neglect me once they become too close to one another to the extent that they commence dating? "
" Well... That depends on how much you mean to them. And judging from how much you care about them, I think they care a lot about you too... So you've got nothing to worry about! "
" Okay... Thanks for your advice! "
" You welcome... " Gabi smiled...
" So am I free now? "
" Sure! "
" Okay.... " Gabi then turned her chair to continue what she was doing...
" By the way, which book are you reviewing? "
" Well... I am not only reviewing the book but also editing and translating it... "
" Oh wow! You are translating? "
" Yeah... From french to English. "
" That's cool! Your English must be in an advanced level then! "
" Hm... I am also studying English in college here.... "
" Wait, you are actually a college student, sis? "
" Yup... What do you think I was? "
" Well... I thought you are a final year student of our school... "

" I guess I have got a young stature despite being almost 21. "

" Have you considered being a school counselor too, sis? "
" I have thought so too before... Do you think I'll be a good counselor? "
" You will be, sis! You've got all the requirements for it! "

" Hm... I'll see you tomorrow, sis! It's time for fourth period! " Mary said standing up from the seat...
" Okay... I'll see you around... Take care... "
" You too, sis... Bye... "
" Hmm... Bye... "
" What a nice girl! " Gabi thought as she got back to what she was doing...
