Grazziena got her mobile phone and dialed Governor Draeko’s number. She needs to see him now. While his phone was ringing; her heart was beating fast.

“Hi Sweetheart, what’s up?” a not-so-jolly voice of Draeko answered the call of Grazziena.

“Are you busy? Can I come and see you?” Grazziena asked with her voice shaking.

Governor Draeko could feel the sadness in Grazziena’s voice and his heart is melting. He missed her; he missed her jolly Grazziena. “Of course Sweety, I will always have time for you. I will wait for you here in the office now.”

“Thank you. See you in a while.” She was about to cut her call but she heard Draeko whisper.

“Grazziena, I love you.” Governor Draeko gently said.

“Draeko, I love you more, from the bottom of my heart, I love you.” Grazziena cut her call before he would notice and hear her crying.

Draeko looked at his phone and made a deep breath. Whatever it is that their relationship is going through, he is hoping that they can both hold on and surpass it.

He called Cynthia after a while. “Cynthia please cancel all my appointments this afternoon; I will be going out and will come back tomorrow afternoon.” He instructed his assistant.

“Well noted Governor.” Cynthia smiled. Since the time that his handsome visitor left, Cynthia noticed that Governor Draeko’s expression became gloomy. "Who was that man and what news did he bring to our Governor?" she thought, weary.

Thirty minutes later, Grazziena entered the Provincial Hall. Almost all eyes of the staff of Governor Draeko followed Grazziena as she slowly and gracefully walked towards the office of the Governor.

“She is really very charming,” said one of the young lady staff in the Governor’s office. She glanced at Grazziena with admiration.

“Yes and very simple. Look at her, she is only wearing a skirt and a blouse, yet she already looked stunning and elegant,” seconded by another staff, whose table is just beside the first one who made flattering words towards Grazziena, a second ago.

They both looked at Grazziena and smiled. They could not hide their admiration for the young beauty queen.

“No wonder she got the attention of our beloved Governor,” murmured by the other staff and they both giggled.

Cynthia saw Grazziena approaching and she too has been mesmerized by the beauty of their crowned Ms. Albaya. "Now, I know why our most eligible bachelor in town, wanted her," she thought before greeting the woman who was now in front of her desk.

“Ms. Grazziena, good morning.” Cynthia greeted the beauty queen and smiled.

Grazziena smiled back automatically showing her two cute dimples. “Hello, Ms. Cynthia. I have an appointment with Governor Draeko today,” she informed the Governor’s assistant.

“Ah yes Ms. Grazziena, Governor Draeko is waiting for you. “ Cynthia opened the door of Governor Draeko’s office for Grazziena and closed it again thereafter.

Draeko automatically stood up when he saw Grazziena enter his office. “Sweetheart,” he said and smiled as he walked forward to meet her.

Grazziena without any word embraced Governor Draeko, so tightly and leaned her head on his chest. She wanted to savor this moment because she can never tell if this will be the last time that she has the right to lean on him.

“Let us have a seat first Sweety.” Governor Draeko scooped Grazziena and sat on the couch with Grazziena on his lap.

He caressed her face with the back of his hand while looking at her, waiting for her to speak.

“Draeko, I need to tell you something. Can we go somewhere else?” Grazziena broke the silence that overwhelmed them both.

He nodded. “Alright; we can have lunch in the mansion.” he smiled and unable to hold himself, he kissed her lips tenderly.

Grazziena closed her eyes and returned his kiss with passion. She cupped his face after their kiss and gave him another kiss, although short and quick this time. “Draeko, I love you so much; no matter what will happen, please bear that in mind,” she said emotionally.

Draeko smiled, “Whatever is going to happen, we will get through with that; I love you more Grazziena, remember that also.”

Grazziena moved away from Draeko’s lap. “Let us go now Sweety unless you still have something to finish here.”

“Nope, I asked Cynthia to cancel my meetings for today. Let’s go.”

When Governor Draeko and Grazziena went out of the Governor’s office, everyone was looking at them with open mouths.

Governor Draeko’s arm has been put around Grazziena’s shoulders as they walked out of his office while Grazziena leaned on him while looking at him lovingly.

This afternoon, there will be surely a hot topic around, regarding the love affair of the young Governor of Albaya and the beauty queen, the crowned Ms. Albaya 2020.
