Chapter 1 : Holy Swordsman
The Red Lotus Valley was once the location of the establishment of one of the straight flow Sects in the martial world, but a great battle thirty years ago turned the Valley that was once filled with Lotus plants into a land of death.
Over the past decades, this place has been neglected and even renamed the Demon Skull Valley because of the large number of bodies buried in this place.
After being uninhabited for a long time, today the Valley is the site of another great battle. Seen under the Blue horizon, a middle-aged man was being besieged by dozens of people.
"Senior Lin, give me the Dragon Sword and we will let you stay alive."
"Senior holy sword, please don't be stubborn. You can't possibly win against all of us here."
"Lin Tian! Do you think with the Dragon Sword in your hand, you can act as you please? If you don't want to hand over the sword, I will retaliate against the Sects you destroyed!"
One person after another tried to persuade the middle-aged man in front of them. Everyone is aware that although they are far more in number, but at least dozens of people will lose their lives if the battle really takes place. That's why no one wants to be the first one to attack, knowing they must have lost their lives if they did.
The old man only smiled faintly at all these words. His name is Lin Tian who is also known as the Holy Swordsman. Despite of his old age who is already eighty years old, Lin Tian still looks like he is sixty at glance and only part of his hair is turning white.

"If I had, Five... no… just ten more years I'm sure I will have no trouble getting away with them," Lin Tian grumbled in his heart as he examined his surroundings.
All those present in this place were high-level warriors of both common and deviant sects, not a few of them who were the head of the sects. The reason of why they were there was to seize the Dragon Sword which is the most powerful heirloom object in the martial world today.
Lin Tian let out a long sigh as he recalled the beginning of this chaos which was twenty years ago. The world is in an uproar due to the reappearance of the Three incomparable Books of Science along with the Five Heirlooms of the Ruler of the World. All of that became the beginning of something called the Era of Chaos.
So many humans died in the Age of Chaos, and at the same time, there were many new talents arose in the martial world. They were what people called as Heroes or Big Villains. However, Lin Tian is not one of them.
Lin Tian closed his eyes. Deep down, he understood that it was impossible for him to get out alive from this place. Although his enemy surrounding him could have attacked him when he was closing his eyes, it was the only time when Lin Tian let his guard off but none of them dare to try.
One after another memories began to cross Lin Tian's mind. He is actually an ordinary child who comes from a simple family. One day when he was ten years old, his village was attacked by robbers.
He was caught and intended to be sold as a slave, but Lin Tian managed to run into the forest where he met with someone who managed to change his life. Lin Tian met someone who became his Master and brought him into the martial world.
Lin Tian has a good talent in sword arts, but unfortunately the aftermath of childhood trauma made him reluctant to learn martial arts. Thus, he chose to spend his time studying like a scholar. The teacher never forced him and let Lin Tian behave the way he wanted.
When Lin Tian was twenty years old, his teacher died from a long-standing illness. From then on, Lin Tian realized he should have learned martial arts. However, it was all too late. Five Years later the Era of Chaos occurred and the Sect where Lin Tian took shelter became the one that perished in the early years of that Era.
"Come to think of it, it all feels really weird....," Lin Tian said with a low voice as he shook his head.
Lin Tian became one of the few survivors of the destruction of his sect. With the intention of revenge in his mind, Lin Tian spent all his time mustering martial arts. As a result, Lin Tian never got a normal experience like what other people had, such as love. That's why when he felt he was about to step into the abyss of his death, that's what he regretted.
".. I never even grasped a girl's hand..." Lin Tian suddenly wanted to shed tears, but he couldn't do it in front of all these warriors.
Never did Lin Tian expect himself to be lucky enough to find the Dragon Sword, when he practiced with the sword. Not only did his swordsmanship increase rapidly, but his inner power also grew stronger, which made his body young.
In the martial world, Lin Tian has already seen some great heroes who have high inner strength able to look young. Lin Tian did not expect that he would also be able to get the same experience.
Lin Tian locked himself up for ten years before reappearing in the martial world for revenge. Thanks to the swordsmanship as well as his great inner power, he only needed a short time to earn title of Holy Swordsman, one of the famous warriors in the martial arts world.
All of which brought Lin Tian to the situation he was facing now. Lin Tian opened his eyes and stared at all the Warriors in front of him coldly.
"You guys want this, don't you? The sword that has brought this world to destruction!"
Lin Tian took out his sword from under the robe and raised the sword high. Everyone could immediately recognize the sword which is an heirloom object that was from the Sky. It can be seen from the beam of light that enveloped the sword.
The sword has a dragon carved on it, and there was a dragon-shaped on the hilt too, making the Sword the target of many people. Not a few of the common and deviant sects are fighting each other to have the heirloom objects that can help them rule the world.
They wanted to use the heirloom sword as a weapon for their sect to become the strongest sect in this empire and several other empires.

This same sword was what brought Lin Tian to the top rank of the imperial martial world. No one had heard of Lin Tian before. However, after he showed up with the world ruler Sword, Lin Tian's name was more widely known in the martial world.
"Today, Heaven and Earth will bear witness to the bloodshed that will again occur in this valley!"
Lin Tian didn't waste any more time. He drained a lot of inner energy in his hands. All the warriors reacted immediately. However, no one dared to attack yet.
The Dragon Sword thrown into the air, instantly a bluish light emerged from Lin Tian's hand. At the same time, Lin Tian split the sword into two pieces.
He cut the heirloom sword into half like he was cutting a tofu. It seemed too easy for him when he did that but it was impossible for just anyone to follow what he did. Lin Tian pointed out that the impossible thing had become possible in the face of all these warriors.

All the warriors shouted in disbelief when they saw Tan Lian broke the sword.
