Chapter 5 : Lin Tian's enthusiasm
Bam ...
Lin Tian pulled the trigger as he closed his eyes. He opened the fire for the first time. Lin Hua who was hiding behind Lin Tuan was worried, couldn't bear to watch him shooting the gun so she decided to cover her eyes with both hands.
BAM ....
Lin Tian fired another shot and he was shooting in any direction but his aim hit one of the men in front of him.
Lin Tian opened his eyes when he heard a scream. "Did it work?" Lin Tian asked enthusiastically.
This is the first time Lin Tian use the weapon that produce an explosion sound. "What's the name of this weapon?" Lin Tian asked once again. Lin Huan seemed confused when Lin Tian questioned her like that.
This isn't the first time Lin Hua has seen Lin Tian use a firearm, but the way he shoots must have made Lin Hua shake her head in astonishment. She was bewildered seeing Lin Tuan like this, even the enemies who were still standing in front of Lin Tuan were just as shocked.
Lin Tian's name was widely known as an assassin who uses various kinds of firearms, from short to long barrels, making him a reliable shooter. However, no one knows what kind of demon has possessed Lin Tian's body causing the young man seems to have lost his ability to shoot. Clearly, his attitude has changed all of a sudden. It's as if he is different person now.
Lin Tian moved his eyebrows up and down while giving Lin Hua a meaningful smile indicating that he was waiting for her answer. Lin Hua was about to give an answer to his previous question but before Lin Hua could say anything their enemies had already taken action.
They don't want to stay silent for long time seeing that every second is so precious for them and if they don't use the time wisely it could threaten their lives at any time. Lin Hua didn't let her guard down. She pushed Lin Tian's body back into hiding for a while.
Lin Hua was a bit skeptical that Lin Tuan isn't ready to fight even though he has killed one person doesn't mean this fight is over. Instead, the fight had just begun.
She was about to say something but Lin Tian stopped her. He placed his fingers on Lin Hua's lips causing all the words she wanted to convey stuck in her throat.
"I know what you're going to say and believe me, I know what I have to do after this. So be silent and leave the rest to me."
Lin Hua was dumbfounded the moment she heard those words coming out from Lin Tuan's mouth. She froze and her eyes widened. Her mouth hung open. She couldn't believe that the person standing in front of her is Lin Tian that she knows. This sudden change of atmosphere made Lin Hua believe that a moment ago, she was confronting someone who looked like Lin Tian's face but now she understood that Lin Tian was putting up an act.
Lin Tian suddenly emerged from behind the wall with full of confidence. He immediately pointed his gun and pulled the trigger. The bullets shot fast towards the enemies one by one.
Lin Hua was amazed when she saw Lin Tian's impressive shooting skill. But something went wrong and when she realized a few seconds later, her admiration did not last long. Lin Tian made a big mistake in this crucial time.
Lin Tian pointed his gun at any direction and not one of his aims managed to hit the enemy. He just wasted his ammo. How could it not consider as big mistake in his carrier as an assassin?
Lin Hua patted her forehead. This is not what she has expected. This is the first time Lin Hua felt defeated. She wanted to give up, letting the few remaining bullets in her gun go through her head and at least, she could die with an honor and a stupid death.
Lin Tian kept firing in any direction and so did the enemies in front of him. The enemies tried to avoid the bullets by hiding behind the boxes while continuing to shoot at Lin Tian without letting their guard down.
Lin Hua let out a sigh of resignation. She had determined to give up. The weapon was already at the tip of her head, ready to shoot her own head. But she suddenly stopped her intention. Even though Lin Tian's aims were just in any direction, in fact, it was able to kill several enemies that were further away from them. In a sense, the bullets hit the enemy who was deliberately hiding behind, so that when Lin Tian was tired, the enemy who was guarding in front of him could immediately attack.
"You see, don't you? I can defeat them all with my own style. So there's no need to give up and choose to die miserably like this. isn't it the time for us to celebrate our victory?"
Lin Tian smirked, showing his smile of victory. Lin Hua swallowed her saliva and seemed at lost for words. What Lin Tian did was beyond her expectation.
Who would've thought firing shots in any direction was actually done with a certain goal that Lin Hua had never thought of before.
Lin Tian looked into her eyes intently while holding her shoulders. Lin Hua was at loss for words and her heart skipped a bit.
"Listen to me…right now there are still a few enemies out there but I'm running out low on ammo. I will make a way for you to escape from this place."
Lin Tian words got a not-so-good response from Lin Hua. "What do you mean?"
"Use my weapon to protect yourself when you reach outside and let me handle the enemy here. " Lin Tian spoke with a serious expression.
Lin Hua shook her head, disagreeing with him. "Lin Tian, you can't do this. we will escape this place together. I won't let you be killed in this place. "
Lin Tian, once again, looked into her eyes more intent than before, making her swallow her saliva and hold her breath.
"You have to trust me. I'll be fine. As long as you believe in me, I will get out alive. Understand!"
Lin Tian did not wait for Lin Hua response and immediately ran out of the wall. He focused on the people who had been aiming for his life.
Lin Hua wanted to follow after him but she stopped her intention when she remembered Lin Tian warning her not to show up before Lin Tian able to make a way for her to escape.
Lin Tian ran without a gun in his hand as he tried to avoid the bullets that shot at him as much as possible. His body even rolled on the floor to dodge the bullets.
Lin Tian didn't just stop there. He used a pile of cardboard to protect himself from the fast-moving bullets.

The enemies who were originally hiding behind a wall and several boxes finally decided to come out of their hiding place thinking that they could defeat Lin Tian who didn't carry a gun in his hands.
Lin Tian was silent for a moment behind the pile of cardboard while his enemies continued to shoot at him to the point that the cardboard that covered Lin Tian began to crumble.
Lin Hua who was standing from a distance was starting to feel anxious. She couldn't bear to watch Lin Tian fighting alone out there empty-handed.
