At Sharon's House
After she locked the door the previous night, she ran to the bathroom at once for a hot bath. Meanwhile, she leaned on the door and breathed in and out.
“I can't believe that I just slept with two men at a go,” she mumbled. Her thought was interrupted when she heard Bruno bang on the door, and she was scared. She jolted at the sound as though he was behind her. She calmed down when the banging ceased, and she concluded that Bruno had left. After, she took her warm bath and walked to the bedroom.
“Have I lost Felix? How do I get him back?” She thought, and held her pillows and cried her eyes out. Then, an idea came to her and she gave him a call.
Meanwhile, Felix, who was still on the way to his house, wondered why she called him. He was not aware that Bruno did not return to the house and cursed, “Nympho. What does she want?” He ignored her and drove on. Nevertheless, she called several times and he failed to pick. Then, she resolved to send a message. (Felix, dear, it is not what you think.) Then, she cried the more and waited for his response. After an hour, her phone buzzed. Now, Felix was at his house and mulled over the saga. “What if I had married her before now? Would I have been able to detect that she deceived me?” Then, to amuse himself, she responded to her message. (What do you mean?)
She was glad to see the message from Felix and she replied. (My uncle was drunk and he raped me. Baby, I expected you to save me.)
Now, Felix was truly amused by her baseless lies, and he sent another message. (You are nothing but a cheap liar and a bitch. Let's pretend that we never met.)
Now, Sharon cried the more and was lost of what to do. She never thought of working because her salary kept coming from both Bruno, and she recalled how she got herself into dating an older man, who spoiled her with money. She went to bed later on and woke up the next day famished. Not only that, she took her breakfast and remained indoors. After midday, she was terrified when she woke up and saw Bruno in her house.
“What! How did you get in?” She exclaimed and held tightly to her pillow as if that would protect her.
“Surprised?” Bruno inquired with an unreadable expression. Then, he sat on the couch with an intimidating aura, which frightened her the more. Now, Sharon calmed down and waited for his next move. Nevertheless, Bruno never hoped to meet her at home. When he resolved that two can play the game and set out to her house, he decided to destroy the door lock and change it into a new one which would deny her access to the house. When he arrived and met her car at the same spot, he changed his game plan. Nevertheless, he changed the lock quite alright to a new one. Now, he was not prepared for what he saw, but he played along. After a long silence, Bruno asked with sarcasm. “How is our love baby doing?”
Now, his sneering tone jolted Sharon out of her daydream and she locked eyes with him. After a few seconds, she looked away and allowed her tears to flow freely.
“I hope he is doing fine,” he mocked. Now, Sharon believed that she had lost Felix and the marriage proposal and the only thing that was likely to work was the relationship between her and Bruno, and she resolved to win him back.
“Baby, I apologize. I'm ashamed of myself.” At that point, he busied himself with his phone, hoping to get the latest news about his organization, but he got none. Then, he ignored her apologies and asked nonchalantly, “How is my unborn son doing?” “I miscarried him.” Although, Bruno believed that she lied, but was not completely certain. All the same, he was pleased with it.
“If she is not proud of her actions, there could still be hope getting a son through her. After all, she is still young,” he concluded. Then, he feigned anger and indifferent to her explanation. Now, she hoped to get his sympathy, but when none came, she cried the more and joined him on the couch and pleaded, “I'm sorry that I hurt you.” She leaned on his chest and pacified him with a peck on his temple. Now, Bruno was hard but pretended. For the first time, a girl was initiating sex with him. At last, he relished the moment.
At the Company Clinic
Silas arrived at the clinic with Sarah and the doctor got her admitted at once. Now, the chef and the children had tagged along.
“I wish to report to the GMD, doctor,” Silas announced after she was admitted.
“It is all right. She would be fine,” Dr. Dixon announced. At last, Silas left for the administrative block.
At the GMD's Office.
Silas looked distressed when he arrived at Evans' office and his staff members noticed it.
“I hope there is no problem, Mr. Jack,” Diana inquired. Silas smiled softly and dismissed her with his request.
“If the GMD is not busy, I would like to see him.”
Suddenly, the intercom buzzed and Brent picked. “What does Silas want?” Evans inquired. “He wished to see you, Sir.” “Let him in.”
Silas walked in with his moody face and the GMD offered him a seat and inquired, “What troubles you, Silas?” He heaved before he narrated what he witnessed at Bruno's house and concluded with, “I don't believe that he is such an irresponsible man.”
Now, Evans was lost in thought and his mind went through many things. “Does it mean that we had been working with an animal?” He asked. “You're right, boss.”
“What did the doctor say about his wife's condition?”
“He said she would be fine.”
“That's good. I will give the doctor a call right away.”
At Sharon's House
After the pleasant time with Sharon, Bruno waited in vain to hear the news about his wife's ejection, but he got none. Meanwhile, he never got a call from her, and he concluded that she was fed up with him and would not want to see a failure like him. Now, Sharon wished to pacify him and after lunch, she inquired, “If you will spend the night with me, I can order for wears for you?”
“Please yourself,” he responded and feigned anger. Nevertheless, she ordered for the wears and paid. After thirty minutes, the vendor arrived and pressed the doorbell. They looked at each other and to stop her from noticing the new lock, Bruno, announced, “I will get them.” He got off the couch at once and walked to the door and took the delivery and walked to the bedroom without appreciation. Sharon walked after him like a guilty wife, who wished to win her husband back.
