I boarded a Uber but not without sniffing the environment to avoid other ambush.

The driver replied with a grin and he ignited the car and drove off, I sighed and relaxed my body, The past moments of my life flashed in my subconscious.

Mrs Eddy, our history teacher spoke up as she adjusted her glasses and she scanned the students waiting for answers.
"Ma'am, what do you mean by Greek gods?"
A student, Chris asked, he was the dumbest of the class, always asking questions that were irrelevant.
"What I mean by Greek gods are the Olympians gods, we do hear of them so it would be easy to know them"
She explained and the class bursted into mumbling with excited looks on their faces.
Various hands were raised up, excluding me.
"Hades, god of the underworld!"
Jack answered as Mrs Eddy pointed to him to answer her question.
"Zeus also known as the sky father, the rulers of Olympus who married Leto and Hera!"
Vicoliz, the jerk of the class answered, I took a quick glance at the built guy as I felt some kind of tingling sensation wash over me.
"Poseidon the god of the sea"

"Athena, goddess of war and wisdom" Emmy, a friend to vicoliz chipped in.
"Apollo, god of sun and light,Apollo was the son of Leto and Zeus. He was born on the island of Delos. He and his twin sister Artemis, also Olympic, shared an aptitude for archery. His nine muses were his companions; they were goddesses known to inspire art and music."
Ama, a blonde girl with unearthly green eyes spoke up, the teacher moved closer.
"Wow, I never really knew that, you are such a genius, can you explain more about the gods of Olympus to the class?"
Mrs Eddy spoke as she marvelled at the intelligence of Ama, the girl smiled and stepped in front of the class while the calssmates quietened and Listened to the girl.
"We also have Artemis, the goddess of the moon and hunting, Artemis was the daughter of Zeus and Leto and Apollo’s twin sister. She was mainly a virgin hunter, goddess of wildlife and patron saint of hunters. She was an important goddess in women’s lives, especially when it came to marriage and young creatures.
Hmmm, Emmy is also right, Athena is the goddess of Wisdom and war,
Ares’ female counterpart. She is one of the three virgin goddesses; the other two were Hestia and Artemis.
And yes, Zeus whose name is 'Bright' Zeus was the father of the famous Greek hero Hercules, His preferred weapon was lightning, He was the King of the gods, Zeus killed his father Chronos. He is also the god of thunder.
His brothers were also Poseidon and Hades."
Ama explained, I was stuplefied to the marrow, the way the girl spoke was like she was present when the events took place.
'are you sure that girl is human?'
Vicoliz whispered to Emmy who sat beside him, the latter nodded disbelievingly.
"I couldn't get all that from the history book, where did you get it from?"
Mrs Eddy asked disbelievingly, Ama smiled and folded her hands nervously.
"Hmmmm, I got that from my grandmother who loves the tales of Olympus ma'am"
Ama replied nervously at the question of the teacher.
I couldn't take my eyes off her as some kind of unknown tingly washed over me, it was like I had some experience with Olympus.
The girl took a glance at me, something was weird with the gaze of hers
Her eyes became brighter but they became normal in a second, I looked around but no one seemed to see what I had seen.
'wtf was that!'
I muttered to myself.

I jolted from my thought as the car came to an abrupt stop.
I frowned my face as I couldn't fathom what was happening.
"Holy fuck!!"
The driver gasped as he couldn't take his eyes off his front.
I looked over at what was happening, fear sprang to surface.
The ground steamed with heat and smoke slowly came out of the ground and dissolved and some kind of lava flowed out.
By now the road was strangely void of people, something that shouldn't have been.
The driver opened the door and ran back to where ever they had passed when they were coming.
I stepped out and slowly moved back as the neighing of a horse erupted from the lava, the horse emerged but it wasn't a horse, it was the skeleton of a horse that was burning with fire, it had a rider on black hood with fire all over his body.
Soon neighing of horses sounded again and two more of the fire creatures came out of the lava also.
They were holding spike flails which burned with fire also.
I knew they would find me but never expected these creatures would be sent against me.
I wouldn't give up with a fight, I won't.
I clenched my fist and my cloth burned off, my muscles ripped and a seering heat burned my insides and my body erupted in fire, my eyes glowed yellow and I growled.
An arrow whizzed past my face and it hit the one of the horse riders on fire.
I looked beside me as I caught a scent of the archer, the beast that got hit by the arrow growled in rage and the arrow that was stucked in it's jaw melted.
A slight thud landed beside me, the blonde skin, and the unearthly green eyes girl that seemed familiar to me held a beautiful embroided Bow.
"Ama?"
