I opened my eyes to reality and gasped, I jerked abruptly as I saw that I was no longer on top of the green scaled dragon, I looked at my surroundings and saw that I was in another realm, It was like a replica of Lanthropon but this was a hall, lava which boiled served as solid wall and there was a wide straight path that led to a pool of Lava.
Fearfully, I found myself rising up, the dragon was not insight, I felt a seering pain in my thumb and I rubbed it, trying to muffle the pain, something was wrong with Hades, he looked super evil, I looked at my thumb, black line showed on it but I shrugged it off.
I made my way down the path that led to the pool of Lava, as I almost got there, the lava boiled furiously and a two horned humanoid beast emerged from the lava, the aura that radiated from him was intense that I could feel my skill crawl in fear.
"I came for answers... Hephaestus!"
I voiced out shakingly as I figured who the being was, Hephaestus stopped and turned towards me, he made his way out of the pool and he walked to a big chair I haven't seen before, immediately he sat, The chair ignited in deep red fire and formed into a big throne, he was a god, throne was a seat for them.
"I know who you are kid... son of the Greek gods!"
Hephaestus voiced out and I frowned, what does he mean by me being the son of the Greek gods, it's kinda Hilarious.
"You must be mistaken, I am..."
I couldn't finish when Hephaestus growled out threatening at me, I gulped my words back.
"I know who you are Wills! You came to get the answers on how you came about the powers to harness the powers of all Olympian gods..."
The God of fire chipped in and I nodded frantically, He sighed and stood from his fire throne and walked towards me, his big size slowly shrinked to nearly my size as he got to me, I sensed grief radiating off him.
"Does it however connect to how you and Medusa got banished from Olympus?"
I asked as the question dropped in my mind as I reflected to what Ama had told me about Hephaestus and Medusa being banished.
"Because you seek answers, I am going to tell you this..."
"Thousands of years ago, the rulers of Olympus had a life force that connects all the Olympian atheletes to themselves, they were powerful with the life force, they could harness any powers they wished, that was why Kronos was invisible until the prophecy that came that Zeus would be the one to kill Kronos.
After Kronos died, Zeus ascended the throne and Claimed Olympus, the Life force that all the previous rulers used was also flowing in him, he is powerful, one of his two brothers who was not happy with Zeus' reign approached me, then I was considered the ugliest of the gods because of my horns...
Medusa was known to be mating with the Zeus' brother then, they came to me and requested my help with getting the Lily of Oly.
The Lily of Oly was a very sacred leaf that contains a little water in it, it was guarded jealousy by Zeus and other past rulers, the water in it is where the Life force the Olympian Rulers used, Zeus' Jealous brother so much wanted the power of the Lily of Oly that he didn't mind the repercussions of what he was doing.
He promised me a higher position than being a forger and I agreed, somehow, I got the Lily of Oly which almost claimed my life, since Zeus had the ability to know each Olympian thoughts, he knew of our motives but he didn't know that of his brother because he had a powerful spell to cloak thoughts.
Zeus came after Medusa and I, thankfully, I hadn't given Zeus brother the Lily of Oly before the king himself came for us, we left Olympus and came to the human world, none of us could use the Lily of Oly because it possessed a tremendous power that could kill we, the lesser gods except used by a pure soul, and the pure soul can only be found among man.
We disguised ourselves and searched for a being with a pure soul and then we found you, you were a baby and you were abandoned in the woods, we poured the water in the Lily in you and since then, you weren't a human, you became a god among men.
We carried you and took you to our hideout, you lived as a baby for three thousand years..."
Hephaestus explained but I cut him short, there was something he said that made me confused, I lived as a baby for three thousand years?
"What are you saying, you meant to say I was a baby for three thousand years? That's kinda delusional you know?"
I replied and the God before me growled out, it was evident he hated being interrupted.
"When next you cut me off while speaking, I wouldn't hesitate to rip your tongue out..."
Hephaestus fumed as fire emitted from his nostrils, I gulped and looked down in fear.
"Okay,"
"We all lived together until our past caught up with us, the army of Olympus together with Zeus came for us, it was all too sudden but we managed to keep you away while we were taken to Olympus for trial... I don't know how you survived but I know that I never saw you since that day..."
Hephaestus explained dejectedly and I tried as much to digest the truth, I came for answers but I got something more overwhelming than answer and then a question came to my mind.
"I have a feeling that the being who hunts for me is connected to the person who sent you to steal the Lily of Oly... Who's the person?"
I asked and Hephaestus eyes shifted in concern and dread.
"Hades..."
