I struggled to my feet as Lanthropon shook as the army of underworld trooped in, I was amassed at how Hades could have come for me with so much army except I am not getting something.
The army stopped as they reached the lair of Hephaestus, the place I was standing and they splitted themselves and my Nightmare stepped forward.
"You... You tricked me!!! "
I growled put as I seethe with rage as Hades stepped forward with a scepter in his hand, he looked evil, more imposing than I had seen him in the dream.
"Wills, If I could trick Zeus, Athena or Hera... Then who are you not to be tricked"
Hades replied as he mystically appeared beside me, I cringed as his aura nearly made me nauseous, his aura was greater than Hephaestus while a smirk never left his face.
"You have been the one behind the shadows trying to kill me..."
I stated with my words etched with venom, he replied with a laughter and before I could blink, I crashed on the Lava that served as wall to Lantrophon and to the lair of Hephaestus, I shriek as I burnt to ashes, I reformed again and came out of the lava, unhurt.
"I didn't really plan to kill you, I looked for ways to see what could kill you"
Hades replied as he earned my confusion, I didn't really grasp what he meant and my lips quivered to what seem like tension.
"what do you mean?"
"I looked for means you could die by sending the Banshees, vampires and hunters to retrieve your heart but you didn't die, I sent the Hell riders to kill you with their poisoned fails but then you survived... I just threw you into a hot lava and you still came out.... I knew there was no way to Kill you except I do what I would have to do..."
Hades Elucidated with a sign of sheer Victory on his face and he plunged his hands behind my neck and I fell on the ground, too weak with the move, everything was happening suddenly, I gasped as I saw flashes of somethings that happened in the past.
"You... Killed... Geoffrey and the firemen, you destroyed an entire community just to get me!"
I voiced out weakly as I saw flashes of the past in my memory, It was like Hades triggered something in me, I saw how Hades had sent the supernaturals to destroy Macdonald Street and set them on fire, he had succeeded in tricking me along Geoffrey and other fighters there and he had massacred them gruesomely.
"I did what I have to do... Zeus must pay for what he did! He took the throne away from me and I used Hephaestus to get the Lily of Oly but he came to this realm and gave you.... Now, I need you to feel the hate towards me, Embrace it and let it consume you! "
Hades Elucidated as he sheered me on, I felt the anger and surge towards Hades, I groaned in pains as I felt some dark energies crawling into my soul, my muscles ripped and I felt something I hadn't felt in a while.
Raw power.
I slowly stood up and stared venom at Hades who grinned for no reason.
"You just completed my mission to get back the Lily of Oly"
Hades chipped in and in a swift move, he plunged a dagger I hadn't seen before into my chest, at first I felt nothing but as seconds rolled by, the dagger glowed and I felt it, My powers! They were fading away, I fell on my knees while my hands went to the dagger to remove it but as much as I tried to remove it, it was abortive.
"what have you done to me!!!"
"whoa, I did nothing, that dagger is dagger of death, the only way to kill you is by making your soul dark and consumed, then the dagger of death would strip you away of your powers and kill you... No matter how immortal you are... You can't escape the dagger of death when your soul Turns dark. "
He explained and I felt a pang of endless pain that made me wish I was long dead, I squirmed on the floor in pains as Hades towered above me in triumph while I suffered, There was no Hephaestus... Maybe he had run away, I feel all alone, I feel betrayed... All I wish was for Ama to be safe.
"seems like Hephaestus ran at the presence of my arrival, I just wish I could kill him alongside with you with my army..."
Hades added and squatted beside me as he yearned, by now, blood was dropping from my nostrils and mouth.
A splitting shriek that seemed to shake the hinges of Lanthropon erupted in the air, thousands of shrieks ensued also that the lava shot up the sky and giant thuds followed that made the army of Hades erupt a low growl of fear, Hades frowned his eyes as he seemed to get what was happening, I gulped out blood as I tried to laugh at the look Hades gave.
"Seems like he didn't run, He brought along a Host of Dragons and Frekens!"
I replied him with a battered smile.
