"Fine then. Why don't we fight fire with fire?" Cassie asked as the fire formed an edge
around her.
For a moment, Asher became terrified. Crystal and Lily guy scared too.
"Few minutes more and we will witness her demonic side." Mia said, smiling victoriously.
"Lily, stop Asher. Look at her, she's changing!" Crystal yelled.
"Asher, get out of there." Mr. Rayner ordered.
"Asher, retreat now. Leave there immediately." Lily yelled.
Asher turned to leave but was pulled back. He looked at Cassie as her eyes changed to pitch
black. Her blue hair was turning black slowly and the fire turned to dark smoke.
"That's it! We're all dead." Crystal said.
Asher moved back but she followed him. No one could come and save him and he knew that
he was a goner.
"Let's see who will save you from my wrath this time," Cassie said. She formed a dark ball
with her hands and twirled it. "How about I banish you from existence?" She said.
"Cassie! Please!" Mr. Rayner begged.
"It would be good if she does it. If Asher dies, then there would be only one obstacle left for us
to eliminate." Mia said, looking at Kash who was meditating.
"We have to stop him." Ian said.
"You're right. Go and stop Kash from meditating. We must not allow him foil our plans." Mia
said.
Ian charged towards Kash and before he could get there, Kash's eyes snapped open and Ian
went through him. Ian fell on the floor like he went through a ghost. He looked at Kash and saw
that he was different.
Crystal tapped Lily. "Look!" She said and everyone turned to Kash's direction. He had
transformed into a water spirit, he looked more magnificent than when he looked like a human.
His hair has turned blue and fell gracefully on his shoulders.
"No way!" Mia exclaimed.
Cassie was about to hit Asher when Kash entered and hugged her from behind. The ball
disappeared from her hands and she halted like something cold was poured on her body. Her
eyes didn't return to normal so he entered her and took possession of her body.
"Did he just possess her?" Lily asked with her jaw dropped.
"This is unbelievable!" Mr. Rayner said as he watched Cassie return to normal. Her hair color
returned and her eyes came back to its normal form.
When she got to herself, he jumped out and everywhere returned to normal but the students
were still frozen.
"What happened here?" Cassie asked looking around.
"You don't remember?" Crystal asked.
"Remember what? All I can remember was seeing Asher and Kash..." She trailed off as the
memories of what happened came flashing before her eyes.
"Are you alright?" Kash asked her. He had also transformed back to his normal self.
She remembered how the forcefield around her threw Kash to the floor. She looked at him as
tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Stop crying. It wasn't your fault." Kash said but she wouldn't listen.
Mr. Rayner ran to Asher and raised him up. Cassie was about coming to meet him. "Stay
back! Don't come close to me." Asher said and she stopped in her tracks as her tears fell more.
"I'm sorry." She said.
Asher didn't answer but glared at her as his father took him away. Crystal and Lily followed
them after Lily had undo her spell. Tye students who were frozen melted and they went about
their businesses like nothing happened.
Mia raised Ian up and they left. Cassie ran out of the cafeteria and Kash followed her. A heavy
downpour started and the students wondered why it was raining a lot these days.

*REALM OF PURE MAGIC*
King Harven and Queen Roanna sighed in relief when the ocean returned to normal. It was a
narrow escape for all of them. The earthquake had subsided and everyone calmed down.
"He really is her guardian." King Harven said.
"May the heaven bless Kash for saving us all by stopping her. I'm relieved now." Queen
Roanna said.
"Did you see the technique he used there?" Medusa asked.
"By possessing her?" Queen Roanna asked.
"He didn't possess her. He became one with her." Medusa said.
"One with her?" King Harven asked.
"Yes. Kash and Cassandra are one." Medusa affirmed.
"By that, do you mean..." Queen Roanna trailed off and Medusa nodded with a smile.

*LIBRARY OF MAGIC*
Aunt Maggie breathe in relief.
"He was able to stop her. I can't believe this." Zaire said.
"He is her guardian, so it is paramount for him to be able to do so." Aunt Maggie said.
"You don't understand. Normally, if she turns into a demon or is in the process of becoming
one, there is nothing that could be done. The problem is how he could do it." Zaire said.
"What we should be happy about now is that she is fine and we aren't dead. The rest will be
figured out later." Aunt Maggie said.
"I guess you're right." He said.
He was about to say something when the Library shook.
"What's happening?" Aunt Maggie asked.
"The library just found a new book." Zaire said. Immediately he said that, a blue book with a
golden seal flew into his hands. Aunt Maggie moved closer to check the book out.
"What does it say?" She asked.
"I don't know." He said as he rubbed his hands on the golden letters engraved on it.
"Why is it sealed?" Aunt Maggie asked.
"I have no idea." Zaire answered.
"You're the librarian, Zaire. You should know things like this."
"Yeah but this one is more than me. The writings are written in ancient Greek letters. I don't
know what they mean, and I have a feeling that it's the only way we can open this book." Zaire
said as he and Aunt Maggie stared at the book.

*LAKEFIELD*
Cassie went to the class and put her head down. She blamed herself for hurting Asher. She
didn't even know how she was going to face him this time around.
Kash came and sat beside her. He wanted to stop her but withdrew his hand. It would be better
if he let her be for now but he hated to see her cry. He sighed and and waited for her to calm
down.

PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE
Principal Rayner dragged Asher into his office. Lily was about to enter but he stopped her.
"You may go." He said and shut the door.
Lily cursed under her breath and spoke into Asher's head. "Whatever you do, don't tell him
that you purposely fought with Cassie. If he asks any question, lie to him and if you don't know
what to say, just keep quiet." She said and Asher nodded.
"This is all your fault, Lily." Crystal snapped.
Lily frowned. "What do you mean?" Lily asked.
"What you did back there was so heartless. The plan wasn't to make them fight each other. It
was just for deceit." Crystal said.
"Yeah. You can't expect deceit to come just like that. You've got to have fun first." Lily said.
"You call that fun?"
"What else should I call it, Crystal?" Lily rolled her eyes.
"I knew you were sly and wicked but not like this. You claim to love Asher yet you allowed him
to get hurt. Both sides are innocent in this case. You're the one who is supposed to have
received all those beatings today." Crystal snapped.
"Are you nuts? You dare talk to your princess like that?" Lily yelled.
"It's so shameful to hear you call yourself that. A princess would not have behaved the way
you did." Crystal said and walked away.
Lily blinked. "What is wrong with her? Seriously, I don't understand witches these days. One
time she is supportive, the next she is nagging like an uncontrollable type writer. Wait till I
become Queen, I'll place her in a place she wouldn't even be able to speak." Lily said and
walked away.

"Asher, what came over you? Do you realize what you've done?" Mr. Rayner yelled.
"I didn't want to fight her but I couldn't just stand there and let her kill me." Asher said.
"I thought you liked this girl." Mr. Rayner said.
"Like who? Pfft! I wasn't in my right senses then. Now, I'm thinking straight. I would do
anything to bring her down." Asher said. His wounds had already healed.
"Now you're talking like Asher," Mr. Rayner chuckled. "But, to bring her down, we nee to draw
her closer first. That way, we would destroy her and take her powers better." Mr. Rayner said.
"That shouldn't be hard for me. Cassie will face my wrath."

Kash watched her and saw that she was no where near stopping. He didn't want to see her
cry, it hurts him to see her cry.
"Cassie," He called but she didn't answer. She couldn't answer because she hurt him as well.
How was she going to face him? "You don't have to worry about me. You didn't hurt me, I'm
perfectly fine." He said.
Cassie sighed. Why is he acting like he could read her minds? She raised her head up and
looked at him. "I'm a monster." She said.
"No, you're not." Kash stopped her.
"I tried Kash, I tried my best to control my powers. I'm sorry." She said.
"It's okay. It wasn't your fault okay?"
"It's my fault. I couldn't control myself and hurt Asher in the process."
"Hey, hey, calm down. Everything is going to be fine." He said.
He saw tears rolled down her cheeks again and sighed. "I guess I'll have to do what I've been
avoiding." He muttered to himself and pulled her in for a hug.
