Chapter Twenty

"Hey! Stop there. I'll get you for this!" She laughed and ran after him.
They continued laughing and gisting till they got home. Aunt Maggie was in before they entered and ran to meet them immediately she saw Cassie.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?" She asked.
"Good afternoon, Aunt." Cassie greeted.
"Answer my questions first. Are you okay?" She asked, turning Cassie around to check her out. She went to meet Kash and checked him too. "Are you okay as well?" She asked.
"Yes, your majesty." He answered with a bow.
"Aunt, I'm fine." Cassie said.
"Don't tell me that you're fine when you almost ended the world today. What is wrong with you? Don't you know how dangerous you can be when angry?" Aunt Maggie asked.
"I'm sorry, Aunt. I didn't know how I lost control." She said and Aunt Maggie said.
"How about Kash?" She asked.
"He stopped me before things got ugly." She said, looking at him with a grateful smile.
"I'm glad that you two are okay. Thank you so much, Kash." Aunt Maggie smiled.
"Thanks." He smiled back and bowed.
"Will you please stop the act of formality?" Aunt Maggie asked.
"I'm sorry, your majesty but I can't." He said.
"You're a straightforward person. I like it." She smiled as she led them in and shut the door.
"Thank you, your majesty." He smiled.
"He doesn't get formal with me, hmph!" Cassie huffed.
"What? You were the same person who told me that we should act like friends. Should I be calling my friend your majesty?" He asked with a smirk.
"No! But my Princess would have been fine." She said.
"So, you want me to call you a princess?" He asked.
"Yes." She answered.
"I'll think about it." He said and Aunt Maggie burst into laughter.
"What? I'm not asking you out, you know." She frowned.
"It looked like you were." He teased.
"Jeez! You're something else. So annoying!" Cassie laughed.
"I'm annoying but why are you laughing?" He asked.
"Because... Argh! Just shut up." She snapped and they laughed.
"Look at you two acting like lovers." Aunt Maggie said and they looked at each other before looking away.
"Aunt, you're getting this all wrong." Cassie defended.
"She's right." Kash said.
"That's nice! You two finally agreed on something." Aunt Maggie said and they gasped.
"You tricked us!" Cassie exclaimed and Aunt Maggie laughed.
"Let me go and prepare dinner." Aunt Maggie said and went to the kitchen.
"Won't you go and take your bath?" Kash asked.
"I didn't say that I won't go. Show off!" She snapped and he chuckled. She started climbing the stairs to go to her room but stopped and turned to look back at him. "How about you?" She asked.
"I have my ways." He answered and she glared at him.
"Hmph! Show off!" She huffed before leaving.
Kash just shook his head and smiled.

*THE WITCHES COUNCIL*
In this council, there is Queen Lucinda as the head and three other women, who served as her subordinates. They were known as the dreadful trio because of the immense power of dark magic that they possessed.
Yvonne, she was the dark witch of the alley. She could kill by just staring at you in the eyes and her spell book contained the most dreaded spell in history. After Lucinda is her in ranking.
Azula, she was the dark witch of flowers. She knows all kinds of flowers and when she passed by, the flowers around would die and later sprout as poison ivy. Her spell book contains different kind of spell pertaining to flowers. She could kill by making someone inhale the fragrance of a flower.
Ursula, twin sister to Azula. She is the dark witch of poison. While her sister turns flowers to poison, she is poison. She could kill by making bare body contact. Her sweats are poison too. Her spell book contains different types of poisonous spells.
These three were summoned by Queen Lucinda to become council heads in preparation for her taking over of the realm of pure magic.
"My Queen, are you sure that this plan of yours will work?" Ursula asked.
"Of course it would. Have you seen any of my plan fail before?" Queen Lucinda asked.
"Not at all. How is Lily going with the plan?" Azula asked.
"She is making me proud. She is showing them that she is the true daughter of her mother. With Asher under her control, Princess Cassandra will be vulnerable." Queen Lucinda said.
"Have you forgotten that she has a guardian now? Even if Asher isn't with her, she is still protected." Yvonne said.
"Who is that guardian that dared to come in between my plans?" Queen Lucinda snapped.
"His name is Kash. Last son if King Tairus, a water King in the kingdom of Oreklion." Yvonne said.
"Son of Tairus! Always interfering in what doesn't concern them." Queen Lucinda stomped her Sceptre on the floor vigorously.
"He must be eliminated." Azula and Ursula said at thesame time.
"Yes, he must." Queen Lucinda cackled and the rest joined her.

*THE UNDERWORLD*
"It was so close but that Kash of a guy ruined everything!" Mia snapped as she sat down at the feet of Master Drake.
"That girl would have been out ticket to victory. You need to see what she did and all she destroyed. That was until that Kash guy stopped her." Ian said.
"Who is this Kash guy?" Master Drake asked while rubbing his temple.
"I think that he is her guardian because what he did shocked us all. He took possession of her body and she returned to her normal self." Mia said.
"Then we have to make sure that the next time he tries that, he shouldn't be allowed to live." Master Drake said.
"You mean?" Ian trailed off.
"Yes. Kill him."

THE NEXT DAY...
It was time for the swimming class and the students were asked to go change into swimsuits. Girls had a special place where they could change and the guys also had their own place.
*BOYS LOCKER ROOM*
They were all changing into their swimsuits, and those that were friends chatted happily while those that had no friends simply minded their businesses.
Kash didn't put anything on. He just sat down on the bench there while Asher was busy showing off his abs and biceps. Kash didn't mind. His only focus was getting out of there and stay with Cassie while trying to avoid getting wet.
He felt someone sit beside him and turned to see that it was Diego. The guy whom everyone referred to as weird.
"You aren't gonna swim too, right?" He asked Kash and Kash nodded.
"Why aren't you going to swim?" Kash asked.
"I'm scared of water." Diego answered with a nervous smile.
"Oh." Kash muttered.
"How about you? What's your reason?" Diego asked.
"Mine is that... Wait, why are you suddenly talking to me? We've been seatmates for days and you haven't even said hi to me. What's going on today?" Kash asked.
"I'm sorry if you feel uncomfortable. You know, everyone calls me weird because I don't really associate with people and because I stay on my own. So, I was a bit shy to talk to you, fearing that you would have same thought." Diego said.
Kash sighed. "It's okay," Kash said and stood up. "I have to go now." He said and Diego nodded. He was about to go through the door when Asher blocked his path.
"Where are you going to?" Asher asked.
"How may I help you?" Kash asked.
"You don't answer my question with a question." Asher snapped.
"Stop acting like a madmàn, Asher. You're better than this." With that said, Kash pushed Asher out of the way and left.
Asher frowned and vowed to deal with him.
.
*GIRLS LOCKER ROOM*
Same thing happening with each person minding her business. Cassie was with Crystal while Lily stood with her minions.
"Ever since I put a spell on Asher, I've been so happy. He tells me that he loves everyday." Lily said, smiling like an idiót.
"You do know those things he's telling you are fake, right? It's the spell talking and not Asher." Stella said.
"Shut up! Must you be blunt at all times?" Lily complained.
"Sorry, that's me for you." Stella said.
Cassie was about to go out when Lily put out her leg. She tripped and almost fell but held herself up while Lily laughed with the rest. Cassie grabbed Lily by the neck and whispered into her ears, "You're only lucky now because people are here else I would have ripped yóu apart." With that said, she left Lily and walked away.

*SWIMMING CLASS*
The students hung around the swimming pool while Kash stood beside Cassie, trying his possible best not to look at her. She was damn gorgeous in a swimsuit and whenever he mistakenly saw her, his cheeks would turn red.
"Okay, everyone. I'll be right back. When I'm back, I'm gonna be putting you in groups of two." Mrs. Miller said and left.
Asher snuck through the crowd of students and hid behind one of them. His focus was on Kash as he used his telekinesis to push Kash with the aim of throwing him in the water. Kash wasn't prepared and couldn't stop it but Cassie was fast enough to stop him from falling but she missed a step and fell into the water.
"Cassie!" Kash yelled but it was too late.
The students gasped and the water turned blue.
