If Renny had mentioned Alec in this type of situation, she wouldn't be surprised but then Carl, it was still baffling but she had to console her friend.
"I didn't know him to be a bad guy. He has always been calm and kind" Kim said.
" No he is not kind at all. He is a conniving wicked handsome guy" Renny snapped.
Kim smiled at her words.
" Oh poor girl" she hugged her and patted her back.
She was seriously going to give Carl a piece of her mind. No one hurts her friend like that.
"When he knows that he wasn't ready for her why then did he hook up with her. Now he just made the most lively girl sad and gloomy" Kim thought angrily.
Renny didn't even ask why Kim was pitting her. She just use the embrace as strength. She needs a whole lot of it. No one was able to persuade her but Kim's presence did her lot of good.
"Don't worry a better guy will come your way darling. He is not the best in the world" Kim placated.
Renny was suprised at her words that she released herself from her embrace and looked at her flabbergasted.
"What? I'm a fast thinker" Kim boasted thinking she got it right.
Renny burst into laughter.
"Fast thinker indeed" she said sniffing.
" Are you better now?" Kim asked when she saw her laugh.
She was glad that she could come back to herself even if it wasn't totally. At least laughter is good sign that she's getting back.
"What are you thinking in that your wee brain?" She mocked slapping Kim's shoulder.
" What else could make a lady cry over a man if not that he broke up with her?" She asked confused.
Her friend's vague words was confusing her. She thought she already figured out what happened but her friend's attitude is saying otherwise.
"So you think I will dare have an affair with that your arrogant brother in-law. Nah" she said with pride.
" So you two didn't break up?" Kim asked still surprised that she was wrong.
"We didn't even hook up talk more of be breaking up" Renny laughed.
She watched as Kim sighed in relief. Not that Kim wouldn't be happy if they started a relationship, but then she was relieved that what happened between them wasn't a matter of love and break-up.
"Then what has he to do with you being in such a poor state?" She asked curiously.
Renny sighed.
" He is such a bad guy" she invected.
Kim really want to know why he is a bad guy but she didn't want to rush her when she saw the pain in her eyes.
"Don't cry again. Instead of crying why not just get angry at him" she suggested softly.
" I did not wish to cry. It is just that my anger is at its peak that my eyes is just flowing with water. I'm just so vexed Kim and that's because I couldn't do a thing to the guy" she said sadly.
Kim was so drawn to her pain that she start to wonder what could be done to a woman that would make them is distraughted aside from break up. Then something dropped to her mind.
"Oh my God! Did he rape you?" Kim shouted.
" Kim!" Renny called sternly.
With that she knew she got it wrong again.
"I was only trying to know what he did" she said with an apologetic look.
" Don't. You are getting it all wrong. Eww" Renny said with a nauseated look.
" Sorry" Kim raised her hand in defeat. "But if you won't tell me how would I know?" She asked anxiously.
" Then you have to stop this your assumption and listen to me" she said firmly.
" Ok ma'am" she said with a smile.
Renny gave her a narrative of the whole scenerio that happened at Carl's house.
"Seven months for just a vase?" Kim asked astonishly.
She took was very surprised at the amount of time to produce just a vase. She didn't know that Carl could be so pesky.
"That's exactly what I asked but the guy is too mean" she said. " He said he got it from Africa" she added.
" And so? Is Africa heaven? When it's not as if Africa is in the moon" She asked irritated at the thought.
" He is just punishing me".
Kim cocked a brow.
"And why is that?" She asked.
None of the two has mentioned having rift to her. So hearing about punishment seems like a breaking news to her.
"I don't really know" she shrugs.
"Why then do you think he is punishing you?"
She thought her friend wasn't saying all that happened to her.
"I think..."
Renny then narrated what happened the day she was in their house and their encounter at the mall.
