Renny then narrated what happened the day she was in their house and their encounter at the mall.
Then Kim understood everything that was happening even more than what Renny had told her.
Knowing who her friend is, she was very sure that she might have insulted him with her thought being oblivious that he could hear her and that is definitely what Carl held on to.
Kim felt like to smile. She wished she could tell her to beware of what she thinks around the Devikings but she couldn't because she would definitely ask why and she wasn't going to tell her about the speciality of the Devikings.
She knew she was lucky to have known their abilities before she also dump herself into trouble like Renny just unknowingly did.
"But all these shouldn't be a thing of rift" she still said knowing she has to say something.
"Yes Kim" she concurred nodding. "That's why I concluded that it was hatred at first sight" she said blankly.
" He doesn't hate you" Kim thought. " If he had hated you, he wouldn't even move closer talk more of you being a replacement for his personal assistant" she thought.
What she didn't know was why his attention was on her friend for just her thoughts. Kim would not blame Carl too much knowing how bad Renny's mouth could be.
"What are you going to do now?" Kim asked when she's got nothing more to say on the matter.
"What else than to concur with his big fat head" she spitted out in anger.
" That's one of it" Kim thought with a smile. " Do you want me to intervene?"
She didn't want to force it if she doesn't want her to help. Even she herself didn't know if he would listen to her.
"Do you think he would agree with you. The guy is too brutal let me tell you" she said baldly.
She didn't know how Kim has been faring because it's been long they've really seen to have a long talk. Both of them were busy.
"If he doesn't I will ask Jeff. He would surely listen to him" Kim said with a smile.
Renny noticed that at the call of her husband's name, Kim's usual blank face was sparkling. She then knew something good might have happened to her.
"I don't want to look pathetic in front of your husband too" she disagreed.
" No you won't. You are my friend and Jeff would gladly help" Kim said.
Renny shook her head.
"Even if I try to skip this, I know he will still come up with worst ones. There's nothing few months can do to me aside stress. I'll manage up but I swear I will get revenge" she sworn and Kim laughed.
She wondered what her friend could do to Carl Devikings. Kim knew if Renny had known who they are, she wouldn't even dare threaten him.
"I'm serious" she said with a serious look.
" I know. Just wondering what you will do" Kim smiled mockingly.
" Just wait and see" she said with so much confidence.
Kim laughed.
" Okay ma'am".
Mat frowned at her laughter. She knew her friend didn't believe she could do something and this got her more determined.
"Well Miss avenger. I think it would be good if you go take your bath before planning the revenge. You stink" she mocked.
" That's not true" she snapped.
"Yes it is and this your room is a mess for goodness sake" she said looking at all the things scattered around.
"It's all Carl's fault" she grumbled.
"Was he the one who scattered all your books and things?"
" No but he is the reason" she said and pouted.
" Well just go freshen up".
Kim said, pulled her up and pushing her towards the direction of her bathroom.
By the time Renny came out, Kim was almost done putting her things in place.
"You shouldn't do that. I could get someone to do it" Renny said quickly.
" No it's just a little work. Even so I miss arranging things. Those maids in the mansion wouldn't let me lift a finger and it's killing me" she complained.
" Why would they allow you? You are the second madam of the house. Just enjoy your pampering baby" she grinned.
" The only thing I do is cook Jeff meals" she said with a frown but there was brightness in her green eyes.
Renny widen her smile.
"I think something good is happening to someone here" she said with a mocking groovy look.
Kim just smiled at her reaction.
"You have to tell me everything" she jumped at Kim.
" Eww go wear yourself a dress" Kim said moving away from her.
" No I will later. Tell me the whole story" she said with an exaggerated smile.
