Chapter one hundred and fifteen

When ever she gets home and complained to her parents, they will console her and remind her that they've got no power to go against a Devikings.
This statement is the most annoying words she ever heard although it was the truth. Even she herself wouldn't advice that her parents go against the Devikings.
Since she resumed, the toughest job he gave to her was to brew him a cup coffee and that was just once. She being someone that hates to be idle was really wronged.
"This is so annoying!' she thought as she watched him talked with a client.
She had to admit that he was indeed a very busy man, neither could she deny that he is good at what he does. If not for the reason that brought her here, she would have been so impressed at how witty he is but being that she hate him, it extends to her appraisal of him.
"I will never commend a guy that is so wicked" she said to herself.
Another annoying thing is that he do ignore her. He sometimes don't even reply her greeting. Renny also didn't care. She is the one that has huge grudge against the guy.
Just by staying with him for three days, she discovered that some female will book appointment and fake illness just to get close to him.
She heard from the cafeteria where she went to get her lunch how stressful it is to book an appointment with Carl personally and she couldn't imagine some ladies will go through all those stress just because they want to get close.
"So jobless" she thought and hissed.
She thought she couldn't bring herself so low to that point of wasting her precious time to see one arrogant man.
A knock brought Renny back to reality. She looked at Carl then back to the door.
Carl didn't look like he heard the door. He just continued talking. Then she thought he was so engrossed in his discussion and didn't hear. She wanted to talk but she didn't want to be disgraced by his cold look.
She then wished the person will knock again but the person didn't. She just kept staring at the door. She thought the person left since whoever is there didn't get a reply.
"Come in" Carl finally decided to say.
Renny snorted.
"So he heard. When the poor person has waited for long and has gone. What a bad guy" she thought.
But to her surprise, the person opened the door and walked in.
"Wow! This person is so patient" she thought.
Knowing herself, she would have knocked severally and walk away if no response, not to talk of a grown man.
The aura of the man that came in made Renny a little uncomfortable. His face is as cold as the man in white seated there.
The only time she sees Carl's calm look is when talking with a patient. It will look as if he never frowned in his entire life. She then concluded that he has a split personality.
The guy bowed to Carl who signaled to him to go wait. So he came closer to Renny.
"Hi ma'am".
His greeting was polite but his face was as if he was forced to greet.
"Hi" she bowed with a stiff smile.
She didn't know how to reply to such firm greeting. She wished she didn't reply in a belittling manner but with the look on the guy, he seem not to care.
Renny then begin to examine the guy. He didn't in anyway look like a patient nor someone on appointment. He wasn't sitting relaxed like a friend will do. He was sitting straight like someone on guard.
"Could he be a body guard?" She thought.
She wasn't convinced that he is a bodyguard being that the cloth he had on was far more expensive than an ordinary bodyguard will wear. Even he was smelling so nice.
She being that she is someone when curious won't be able to tame her mouth from moving talked. Moreover she's bored to death her and talking to him will relieve her boredom.
"I'm Renny" she said.
Riggs knew she has been checking him out all the while but wasn't fazed at her action. He knew she was just curious about who he is. So when she talked he gave a little smile.
"I know ma'am" he said.
She was suprised.
"You know me?" She asked pointing to herself.
He nodded.
"How? Where?" She asked anxiously.
Not that she was so not popular but she was also not someone to be known by many. She never expected this.
"I'm Dr Devikings's personal assistant. Don't you think I will know about you ma'am?" He asked.
The word personal assistant that she heard pricked her ears and thought. She didn't even think about the words that led to it.
