She thought he had thought her words to be another way.
"No.... No... I mean,..... You were sweating and I wanted to....." She stammered.
She wasn't even able to finish her words because of how Jeff was looking at her.
He gave her a cynic look sizing her up and down.
"Dressed like this?" He asked.
Kim knew he already misinterpreted her. She didn't want to look promiscuous in the presence of her husband.
"It's not what you think" she said shaking.
She bit her lower lip not knowing how to explain to him and he wouldn't misunderstand her again.
" I don't care" he said then bent to kiss her.
Just as their lips met, they heard a knock on the door. Jeff sworn.
"What do you want?" He asked with a very hostile voice.
Kim couldn't help but smile. She would have escaped if he wasn't pinning her both hands down on the bed.
"Madam said that you two should come down for dinner" the voice replied.
" Get out!" Jeff said sternly.
"Jeff" Kim called gently.
Kim knew the poor girl will be sore afraid. She just pitied the girl.
Jeff crashed his lips on hers and begin to explore it. He loosened the piece of cloth between them but just as he was about to start exploring there too, there was another knock.
Jeff cursed loudly.
"I will have your head if you don't get out!" He shouted in a thick masculine voice.
Instead of a maid's voice, it was Carl's voice.
"You better get you big fat head down now" he said in same manner.
It could be clearly heard in his voice that he didn't wish to be there.
"Get out!" Jeff still said.
Kim had already slipped out of his hands and this was getting him angry the more.
"If I'm to be forced by mum again to come get you, I'm surely going to break this door down" Carl threatened.
" You should freshen up and go eat dinner. We shouldn't keep the family waiting" Kim said softly.
She was already picking a dress for herself.
"I will rather have you as dinner" Jeff thought.
He grudgingly went into the bathroom. He didn't even bother to remove his clothes. By the time he came out, Kim was no more in the room. If he had met her, he would have finished what he started.
On getting down to the dinning room, everyone was seated except Lexie who already left and they even had company.
Kim froze at the sight of the company. She didn't expect that she could come to the mansion. She has never seen her come to the mansion. She didn't even bother to say hi, she just sat down.
"Where is your husband?" Maureen asked firmly.
" He'll soon be here mum" Kim said with a little smile.
" Mum why must we wait for him? He could join us in the middle" Alec complained.
" No everyone must be seated" she disagreed sternly.
Kim looked at the empty chair beside her. She didn't know if her husband would want to take his seat beside her. It has never happened that they both sit to eat together on the table in the mansion. The first time they did was at his place.
She wasn't even wishing for anything because she knew disappointment isn't evictable. Despite knowing that, she was still angry within her.
Jeff finally showed up. Kim just gave a plain look controlling her thoughts while their uninvited visitor was just think on like a fool. They were all disgusted at her thoughts but didn't say anything.
Jeff paused when he saw Lucy seated at the dinning room. He didn't know why she suddenly appeared or how she even get to know that he is at the mansion.
He looked at everyone, then to Kim. He could see the anger in her eyes and he snorted.
"What a jealous woman" he thought.
He then took his seat beside her. She didn't even look at him. She just stared at her empty plate like there's something annoying on it.
He then decided to disturb her. He ruffled her hair before sitting down.
Kim dashed him a stern look.
"Why ruin my hair?" She thought in anger.
She hand combed her hair to arrange it.
Jeff didn't reply. He just gave her a mocking look and this angered her the more.
Kim look up and saw Alec's eyes looking at her. She felt something strange about the look he gave her but she quickly waved it off and looked away.
Seeing the show Jeff and Kim were making, Lucy was angry and jealous.
"B**ch" she thought angrily.
Jeff looked up at her sternly and see adjusted. She didn't know why Jeff did that but she still adjusted.
