Landing safely, a white Ferrari was waiting for us outside the plane. A blonde guy was waiting outside the car and waited until we were in front of him.
"Welcome back, boss." He greeted him with a little bow.
"Thanks, Will." He mumbled and entered inside the opened car, the guy looked at me, he had sapphire blue eyes and he looked..pretty hot on his black shirt which he'd left two top buttons open.
He gave me a nod as I passed him and climbed into the car, Davina did the same and finally, we were out of the airport. My eyes scanned the entire area as he drove past the tall buildings in the area.
Sicily looked lively and pretty as usual. It had been 3 years that I had been here.
It took us an hour, and thirty minutes before we passed through high mountains and a lonely road before a castle came into view. I hadn't been in this part of the city since I was born. Not to talk of a castle coming into view. As we drove through the gate, I watched the high walls and told myself that no one can escape this home if they wanted to.
At the gate, I noticed the letters which had been 'the Romano family' as we drove through it. Men in blacks stood at every station and a water fountain stood in the middle of the compound. The statue of a dragon stood in the middle as water emitted from its mouth.
The car was opened for us and we stepped out, at the porch stood a towering man, his brown long hair stopped above his shoulders, and his beautiful hazel eyes looked at me. He was Italian, a very pretty hot man. He was really attractive.
I looked at Zavi and back at him, they kinda had the same looks, is he his brother?.
Zavi smiled at him as they greeted each other with love and siblings' affection. They must be close to each other.
"It's been a long time man. I didn't know you would still come back." He said after they went out of the hug.
Zavi smiled and looked around. "You've done pretty well over here. I missed you, man." He gave him a friendly punch.
The handsome guy laughed and looked at me. My heart gave a leap and I narrowed my eyes as I scanned him, he looked friendly though.
"She's Vanora Campbell. I met her in Scotland." Zavi introduced.
He came forward and pulled out his right hand for me to shake, I looked at his hand and slowly drew out my hand to his, his hand was soft and warm when my hand connected with his hand, he raised my hand to his lips while looking into my eyes intently, he planted a small kiss at the back of my hand and said sweetly, "Nice to meet you, Miss Nora."
I was nervous, all eyes were on me, especially Zavi's. I took back my hand as goosebumps settled on my skin and cleared my throat through the awkward silence that surrounded us.
"Nice to meet you too. I'm Vanora Campbell and you are?."
"I'm Alec Romano," He answered and I smiled at him and looked at Zavi. He turned away.
"Davina.." Alec called happily.
"Finally noticed me?." Davina asked with a frown. They hugged each other and he kissed her cheek. I smiled at them, they were cute together..or is he Davina's guy already?.
"I missed you, Dav. You looked all stressed and.." Then he paused and looked at Zavi, Zavi turned around and walked inside.
"Come back here, Zavi. I asked you not to stress her, didn't I?." He followed him inside. Davina's laugh filled the air as I turned to her.
"Hey, Doc. Are you enjoying the drama?." I asked Davina with a smile.
"I've loved them like this." She replied and we began walking in together.
"Seems Zavi can be playful towards a family member. His brother is kind of hot you know."
Davina looked at me, "Yeah. Although Alec is Zavi's cousin, they are very close."
I think I can go a day without him being douchey though. I looked at the house that I was in, and as usual, it was what I expected. A very large chandelier stood up at the high ceiling. The interior was very big and beautiful. In the middle, a staircase leading to the upper floors stood, Davina, sighed beside me.
"Finally, I'm home. Come on, I will take you to your room." She said as we began walking up the stairs. As I walked, I looked around for any sight of Zavi's family members who I expected to welcome us but the house was empty. Not exactly empty because Zavi's men stood around.
Davina opened two large oak doors and we walked in together.
"This is your room, Nora. You have everything in here because Zavi already arranged for your arrival beforehand."
My eyes scanned the room and it was perfectly how I wanted it. The room was painted dark blue with a king-sized bed in the middle. A closet sat at the other end, the curtain was white in color, and white bed sheets, and blue carpets. It was just as I wanted it.
I turned around before she could leave and asked, "Is there anyone else that I would have to meet?."
"You mean.."
"Family." I completed her answer.
She shook her head, "No. Alec is the only family Zavi has left."
My mouth twitches into an 'o.'
"Thank you, Dav. I will come to see you after I settle in."
She smiled at me, "Take your time, honey."
She leaves and closes the door behind her. I turned around and walked toward the bed. I sat down and smiled as it greeted me. I got up and walked to my closet, I opened the closet and saw so many packed dresses hanging in hangers, really they were prepared for me.
My next agenda was to walk into the shower, after that, I would take a nap. At least I didn't sleep a wack yesterday night. I had been thinking of how my life was taking its turn.

I walked out of the bathroom and was stunned to see Alec on top of my bed.
"What.." My voice came out harsh, I bit my lip and asked politely, "I mean..what are you doing here?." I questioned him.
He smiled, his dimples visible by the corner of his cheeks.
"I have come to tell you about the party for tonight."
"Party?."
He nodded.
"It's a ball, and you'll be going as Zavi's date. He already told me all about you."
My eyebrows raised, "All about me?."
Alec's eyes went to the towel that I had tied around my body. My hand stiffened as I watched him. He was getting me uncomfortable.
"I..mean the contract you both had."
I rolled my eyes, "I wouldn't call that a contract though." He laughed.
Then he got up and said, "I'll leave you to.. uhm..to dress up," He managed to say averting an eye with me. He walked further toward the door but turned as his hand grabbed the knob.
"You look like her.." He finished, opened the door, and walked out.
I got confused.
"What's wrong with him?."
