"Today's match is going to be hella tough. " Micheal spoke from the file he was working on. He's been trying to catch up on the work that he misses since he had been sick. Olivia would chew him out if she catch a glimpse of him doing as much as going through a file.
But he couldn't keep lazing around at home , sleeping all day long and doing nothing.
His butt was sore from too much sitting and his hand itch to do something. To stay out of the room. And the opportunity had presented itself when Samuel and Gabriel came into the room .
He had excused them away from the two gossip immersed ladies and led them towards the closet
"What's the matter??. " Gabriel asked In a whisper.
"I think I might die !! " He spoke frustratedly and watch as Gabriel looked confused and Samuel amused.
"From boredom?? From idleness? Which one ?". Samuel asked with a smile
"That's why you're my brother. From everything. Mom wouldn't even let me get up from the bed. She even suggested that she bring chamber pot into the room to avoid me from going into the bathroom. " He whispered to them
"That much ?? " Gabriel asked
"That's much. Help a brother. Will you ?? Hmm. Hmm. " He pleaded with them
"So what should we do ? Right now you can't go it office ,that would be impossible. " Gabriel reasoned
"I don't know. Help me out. " He cried out loud
"Okay. We get. We'll stay home for you. Let's watch the match together? " Samuel suggested calmly not a bit moved by his brother childishness.
"Let's go out. " Samuel linked his hand with theirs and drag them out.
"What are you guys discussing?? You've been whispering non-stop. " Olivia looked up from Emily's head. She had been tweaking and twisting her Emily's hair in the name of braiding. How Emily could sit down there is unknown??
"Just some this and that. " Gabriel scratched his nose and replied
"It better not be about work . Because if anyone of you strain Micheal with work or whatnot again then I'll wack your head. He needs rest okay ?? ." She asked them and they nodded like good little obedient children.
"Are you done ?? ." Emily asked from under Olivia's hand. That had her hair pinned down with some Bobby pins.
"Just five more to go !!. " Olivia replied excitedly and Emily groaned.
Five more braids to go ?? How could she possibly stand this? She was already feeling like her hair was placed on fire.

"Today is the last episode airing, isn't it??. " Alicia asked as they picked up the chaff from the wheat. They had volunteered themselves and collected the wheat from the maids because they were too bored .
After Olivia had finish twisting the whole lot of Emily's hair ,they were finally left stranded and bereaved of any work to do.
Now Emily has started to miss the hetic nature of her work. This new "work! " Is proving to be more emotional draining than physical.
"Yes it is. And I can't wait!! I wanna see if that lady will choose love or money. " Olivia chimed in enthusiastically with a smile.
That darn smile. Like gosh , she smiles too much.
"But if you were in that position what would you have picked?? Money or love ?" Alicia directed the question to Emily who was busy removing the chaff like her life depended on it
"Huh? You said something? ." She replied back absentmindedly
"I said if you're were in that position what would you have pick ?? " Alicia repeated her question again and watched closely for Emily reaction
"Of course I would pick money, I mean since Money equals happiness and lavishness why do I have to pick love? I would pick money without thinking twice. " She drained the water in the glass that was on the stool beside her.
They all stared at her , Mera in shock , Hana in a ' I know that bitch way ' and Olivia and Alicia in shock .
"So you will pick money over love ??. " Olivia asked suprised that the person who told her about her love life , her never ending love and romance that could move the most callous of heart , would pick money over love .
Isn't she supposed to be a romantic?
"I ...mean , I can't pick money over Micheal but ...had I been in that type of situation..that would be the most sensible option right?? " She stuttered a little and looked away from the intensity of their stares
"What about you ?? Mera ? "
"Love is like two sided blade , as much as it is dangerous it's also very useful . It can cut you , and it can also save you. If you pick love ,nyou might end up finding love and money while if you pick money you might lose the chance of meeting your true love. Mostly because all the new people you'll meet ,are likely to start loving you because of your wealth. " She finished with a huge grin , grinning like someone who just finished giving a very incredible and long speech.
The fuck is she talking about?? Love can save you ? Can love buy you the newest Bugatti? Can love buy you the finest of them all ? No! No ! And no !
"Wow , you must really be in love . " Olivia giggled and Mera looked away shyly .
What's wrong with these people and.loven??
"Now let's stop talking about love already. Olivia you aren't picking the chaff well. See? That's one . Oh, it two. And Mera you've been slacking off . " She quickly cut them off before they could start going on and on about some love of a thing.
Alicia caught a glimpse of Emily scoffing and smiled.
Finally she's showing her true colors

"Is it time for the match yet ?? ." Gabriel asked and Samuel took a quick glance at his wristwatch.
Michael had forced them to play the ludo game with him. And he's bad at it !
"It'll take a little more. Some minutes or so ?." Samuel replied
"You're bad at this game . Admit it . " Gabriel grinned as he won again.
"Should we play chess,?? " Samuel suggested since he was tired of this game that seems to have no end . It's been going on and on. And Micheal has been losing repeatedly.
"Chess? Spare me. I don't know much about it." Gabriel answered
"Well I'm tired of this game of yours." Samuel whined
"Let's go to the living room then, the March will start soon. " Gabriel added excitedly. His team was going to play against Micheal
"Who do you support? And don't give me those I'm in between shit . You have to choose! " Both Gabriel and Micheal stared at Samuel ,waiting for him to choose one of their teams.
"You want to know the team I'll be supporting?? " He asked and they nodded.
"Well it isn't a long process but I think I'll just stay in between" He winked at the annoyed Gabriel and Micheal.
They went downstairs to watch the March. Eager to see who would emerge as the winner. And who will win the 100 bucks that they had bet on the March.
Samuel is the cashier. He's the one in charge of the money.
They got to the living room and Samuel took a seat on the sofa . He sat comfortably and waited for his brother to do the remaining job.
He frankly hoped that none of their teams would win. So that he could just take the money for himself.

"It's time . It's time! " Olivia chuckled excitedly
"Time for what?? " Emily covered her mouth with her hand to stop herself from opening her mouth wide like some ' uncultured lady' as Alicia would call it
"It's time for the show. " Mera replied and did an high five with Olivia
They we're currently in Alicia's room , checking out her magazines and newspapers. Turns out that she has a knack for fashion trends . No wonder why she's always classy fashionable and elegant.
And as you can guess ,Emily had been totally uninterested in those sort of things . Those things bore her to the core . She quickly nodded her head and even added a concentrated look on her face when Alicia asked her about what she thinks,pairing a flare mouthed trousers with sneakers or heels.
Heavens help her, she can't even differentiate between the coral peach and visual pink or whatever Alicia had call it .
"I thought the show starts by 7:00pm?? " Hana asked
"Yeah , but today is the last day. " Olivia squealed.
"Let's go then . " Alicia suggested and drop the magazine that she was holding that reads"Elle Korea. "
They got to the living room, chatting loudly and walking at a stroll pace but stopped when they met Gabriel and Micheal in front of the television.
"I'll go get the popcorns. " Emily said and excused herself to the kitchen.
"What are you doing?? ." Olivia asked crossed arm.
"What do you mean ? Are you visually impaired? " Micheal countered. He received a knock on his head while Olivia snatch the remote control from him.
"What do you think you're doing ? " Gabriel questioned Olivia when she changed the channel from the football channel to some reality show.
"Are you visually impaired?? Can't you see she's changing the channel. " Mera quickly used Micheal word as a comeback reply. She smiled smugly at her own little victory .
Emily came back from the kitchen ,with a large bowl of popcorn and sat down on the sofa besides Samuel
"Make space for me. I can't see what's going on. " She said to Samuel and sat down after Samuel shifted a little from his seat to ensure that Emily could see the unfolding drama more. She put the large bowl on popcorn on her laps and took a mouthful into her mouth.
"Is this the only chair in the house? Anyways bring the popcorn closer. This drama is gonna be interesting. " Samuel motioned for Emily to drop the popcorn in the space between them.
The two of them sat together,smiling and watching the ongoing drama between Gabriel Micheal,Olivia Mera and Hana. While Alicia sat down on the couch also watching them.
"This is going to be way more interesting than the show. " Emily Chuckled as her hands stealthily moved towards the popcorn bowl.
After a few hippity dippity,some hand clapping and the remote control dribble, they were finally able to come to a conclusion.
"How about we play rock paper scissors?? The winner will watch their show first . Are you in ??" She eyed them suspiciously as she gave the remote control to Alicia who had been laughing since .
"Rock paper scissors?? Let's do it. " Gabriel said
"We have three gos at it. If you win twice then you get to watch your show. " Alicia made the rules
"But if you lose? " Micheal cocked his brows at his mom.
"Then, if you lose . You'll water the flowers for a week straight. Deal or no? "
"Deal . " Olivia,Mera and Hana shouted simultaneously
"Why not ?? " Micheal shrugged
Now!! .
Rock paper scissors!!
Mera won the first round against Gabriel .
The second one was Hana against Micheal
Rock paper scissors!!
Micheal won. Gabriel hugged him with all smiles and they did a weird handshake.
Now ,the last one .
It'll be Micheal against Emily , Alicia declared and Micheal groaned and Emily rolled her eyes.
"Why me??. " She whined. Afterall she hasn't join them in their hilarious game for the remote. How could she be competing against that dick head now?
"Yes, why not Olivia ?? " Micheal rolled his eyes
"Shall we start?? " Alicia pretended not to have heard their complaint and moved on as if nothing out of ordinary happened
"We'll be counting on you . " Olivia whispered to her .
Counting on who??her? They'd better not.
Now. Rock paper scissors!!
Emily won.
"Yay!!!! " Olivia drew them all for a group hug.
"We did it !! "
"We defeated them !! " Mera laughed and rubbed their victory more on Micheal and Gabriel.
"So what??. " Gabriel looked defeated as he walked slowly back to the cushioned chair and sat down with a loud thud.
"Now,.let's watch the show. " Emily sneakily got out of the hug and went to carry her popcorn
"Let the show begin!! " Olivia moved with a flourish and went to get the remote from Alicia with dramatic effect.
