Chapter thirty
A new arrival??
"Knock , knock. " Someone said from outside the door.
"Who is it ??. " She yawned loudly and covered her mouth. She got up from the bed and padded to the door , rubbing her sleepy eyes together .
"Who is that ?? " She repeated again when no one answered.
"It's Olivia. I just came to tell you that I'm leaving today . " The voice said from outside.
"Oh you're leaving?? already?. " She opened the door a bit and snuck her head out and saw Olivia who smiled brightly at her . She held her bag pack firmly with both of her hands.
"Come ,in come in. " She opened the door wider to allow Olivia entry.
Olivia entered the room and looked around
"Micheal?! He went out already." Emily sat down on the edge of the bed and grabbed her phone to check the time
7:40 am
"He went out already??? This guy doesn't love himself. "
"Let me change quickly,I'll see you off . " She entered the closet and came out barely two minutes later . She was wearing a black big hoodie that reached her knee.
"I'm pretty sure that belongs to Micheal. " Olivia pointed at the hoodie
"Hell yeah!. " Emily winked at her.
They both went out of the room .
"Shouldn't you inform Mera and Hana too ? Especially Mera ? Your new found soulmate as you call it. "
"You think? I just didn't want to disturb her. She's still sleeping probably. " Olivia brought out her earpods and lipstick. She reapplied them again
"Your lipstick is smudged. " Emily pointed out. And you look like a mannequin, she added inwardly.
"Really??where ?. " Olivia quickly fished out a mini mirror from her bag to check her face.
"Are you going to follow me to the bus station?"
"Do you want me to? " Questioned Emily.
"If you want to! " Olivia replied with a shrug .
"Wait ,is there even a bus station here? This place is literally a forest. " Emily spoke out loudly as they're walking through the thick shrub and plant. It's been a few minutes since she they've been walking.
"There is ,but it's kinda far from here. That was why I was asking you , if you would follow me to the bus station. I'm here on volunteer. It's a place called Bees bulb" Olivia replied with a smile.
Her signature.
"Well , I would be pleased to let you know that I'll stop here. You should visit us sometime soon. " Emily bend down to scratch her legs where some flies had bit her.
No , she was done. She had enough of the scratchy leaves and flies. She's going home .
Olivia pulled her in for a hug and whispered into her ear "I like your attitude. Bold and fearless." She turned her back without waiting for a response from Emily .
Bold and fearless??That's the biggest joke she's heard year.

"Garden? Picnic or club? You guys choose. " Hana said . They were done chewing Emily out for not informing them when Olivia was leaving .
"Well she insisted on not disturbing you guys. What else do you want me to do " she tried to defend herself from the two cruellas in front of her
"Well you should have insisted on telling us. She just left like that without even saying goodbye. " Mera scolded
"Well , I'm sorry okay,? Such won't repeat itself." She held her ears ,a gesture to show that she was really sorry.
"Fine . Just don't repeat that mistake again. "
And now they were discussing the issue if their girls day.
"You guys should pick anything and I'll be okay with it" Emily said stretching her legs and casually popping a strawberry into her mouth
"Well I'll be okay with anything too. " Mera repeated what Emily said
"Then I guess, we're not going to do anything then. Since you guys are okay with everything." Hana smiled at them
"You decide something. I'm so bored here honestly. "
"You just said my mind " Mera laughed .
"Both of you are idiots. Did you know?? ." Hana joined them in the strawberry association eating
"The idiots you love. " Emily winked at them
"So did anyone have anything new to say ?? I think I'll visit froggie today if there's nothing to do. " Emily announced standing up and carrying the bowl that has the strawberry in them
"Where do you think you're going ? With that.." Hana pointed at the the bowl of cereal.
"It's either you go to your room and drop the strawberry or you drop the strawberry and go to your room . Choose one " Hana watched her closely .
Emily feigned a suprised face and said",isn't that the same thing ??"
"Yeah , it's the same thing. "
"Oh right. That reminds me , have you seen the music video that dropped yesterday?? " Mera said bringing out her phone to show them
"Yesterday? Which song is that ? " Emily moved closer craning her neck to see what was playing on Mera's phone
"Oh , blackpink dropped a video yesterday and I didn't know!!! " Emily cried out hysterically.
"I think it's today or something. It dropped this morning around 5am today. " Mera confirmed
"Really??? Oh my God. My babies are finally back. And from the little I've heard ,this song is dope. I'm off to download. " Emily squealed.
They've been a blink since the debut days of a South Korea girl group called blackpink. Just like they were an ARMY.
But due to the stress and everything they've been having less and less time to follow their first ever celebrity crush.
"I'm off to stream too. Like , I can't believe it. My babies are back. They are back!!. " She chanted like a broken record player that's playing on repeat.
The door bell rang and Emily snapped her head towards it.
"Did Olivia come back??. " Hana walked towards the door to get it
"Who's there?? "
"Uhhm, can you open the door first ?? My bag is quite heavy. ". The voice sounded tiny and airy. Probably belongs to a lady
She opened the door slowly,trying to catch a glimpse of the person face before opening the door.
The lady came in to view bearing two luggage bags . She was dainty and beautiful in the pink floral knee length dress that she had on , pairs with black sandals giving her the overall summer vibes. She took a step or two inside the house gently closing the door behind her.
She was all smiles when she held eye contact with Hana
"Who are you please??. " Hana asked politely trying to gauge out her worth without her knowing. Celine ring , channel limited sandal.
Screams money.
"Hi , I'm Nancy. I'm a cousin to Micheal and his brothers . And I came because my aunt is here." She looked thoroughly at Hana from head to toe while keeping her smiles plastered on her face and trying to look polite.
"Who is it ???. " Came Emily's voice from the sitting .
They both must be ass - itchy curious right now.
"If I may ask ,who are you ?? " The Nancy lady asked Hana.
"Me ?? I'm Samuel's girlfriend. " She finished with a light smile on her lips
"Please let me help you with your luggage, there is should a room around here. Or would you like to stay upstairs? "
Nancy laughed at her question . A soft and throaty sound .
"You aren't the only one ?? " Nancy asked Hana. She seems to be suprised that Micheal and his brother had gotten a girlfriend.
"Yes, I'm not. Micheal and Gabriel's girlfriend are here too. We came to stay with Alicia till she's going. " She explained to her. Nancy smiled and nodded

" Let's see them ,then. " She was already moving to the living room, with the familiarity of someone that wasn't new to the place. She seems to be familiar with this place.
They got to the living room, where Emily was Mera were sitting ,waiting for them
" Hiiii.Nice to meet you guys. I'm Nancy. " She smiled and stretched out her hand for a shake.
"Hii, I'm Mera"
"I'm Emily , pleased to meet you."
"I heard you're the brothers girlfriend. That's actually a suprise for me. I didn't know that my cousin have finally passed their rebellious stage of ' I won't settle '. It's really nice to see."
"How about you settle in first ?? Are you here for a vacay?"Emily squinted her eyes at the lady as her gut hit on her. Something's wrong about her. Emily thought she caught a glimpse of a determination on Nancy's face ,which she quickly schooled back into the cute ,bright and bubbly one.
Perhaps all their family members would come visit them on this one. But why would someone who came for a vacation would looked so determined ?? If not because she had an ulterior motive .
Well as long as it doesn't have anything to do with her,then everything is fine and good.
"Yes. I came because I've missed my troublesome cousins. But most especially I came for a summer course . " Nancy explained and Emily's mouth formed an 'O'
"All the way from Italy? " Mera asked as suprise was evident in her voice.
"Not really. I'm thinking of settling here in Newland after I'm done with my course . So let's say I'm here for many purpose. "
"Is aunt Alicia at home ? I've missed my favorite aunt." She poured her lips and drew her eyebrows in , making her look more cute ,like a little puffball.
"Are there any servant or maid of something in the house ?? Surely Micheal couldn't let you ladies be doing all work right ? " She stared at them waiting for an answer
"Don't tell me he hasn't employed anyone?? Those guys could be something else sometimes. I really need to wack their head" She mused to herself.
"We have a butler, Charles and some maids.. I'll ring for them if you need them " Emily cut in
"Please do. I'll leave my luggage right here. I need to greet my aunt. " She smiled at them and walked upstairs.
After three or more stairs she paused in her tracks and turned to face them
"Which room is Alicia residing in?? The last one by the.left side?? "
"How did you know ?? " Mera asked. "You sure know many things about them. "
"That's her favorite room . Whenever she's here, that's where she mostly stays. " She turned back and continue walking .
As soon as she was out of sight ,Emily motioned for Mera and Hana to come closer to her. They did ,and she whispered.
"I don't like her. Something about her Is pulling at my gut feeling " she nodded her head
"You don't like her already? She just came like ten or twenty minutes ago !! And you don't like her? " Hana widened her eyes.
"I'm not suprised though. Since you don't like anyone. " Mera burst into laughter after saying that
"I'm serious . It's just that you guys won't believe me. " She frowned at them. She could be wrong and might have misconception about her.
"Babe , rest. Did you hear me ?? Rest.. she came here a minute ago. Give her some time. "Hana suggested.
"We'll see about that ." She waved them up and stood up carrying the bowl of strawberry that none of them seem to be aware since they were so concentrated on whatever they were saying.
Victory at last!! The strawberry was finally hers.
She popped one into her mouth and chewed,she closed her eyes to savor the taste and the richness in it.
