Chapter thirty seven and
Sorting my feeling.
(Did I like her or did I like her not ?? )
The shocked look on his face made her heart broke into thousand pieces and the tears she had been holding back , threatened to spill out like a dam.
He doesn't like her ! She had guessed already but the rejection stung so bad .
"You're drunk . " He said in a calm voice not making eye contact with her.
"Let me take you in ." He came over to her side wrapping his arms around her shoulder and making her lean against his sturdy chest.
"You're drunk... " He repeated. This time a tiny whisper into her ears.
She hated the way her body respond to his touch , his voice. Fresh tears glistened in her eyes and her throat hurts from trying to keep the tears in.
He guide her gently into the quiet hallway that led to the hotel , away from the loud music.
They got to their room and he helped her to the bed.
"I..I'll be right back . " He stuttered as soon as she sat on the bed and left in a hurry .
She burst into tears , the moment he left the room. She sobbed and released the tension on her throat . Trying to muffle the heart wrenching sound from her mouth.
Telling him about her feeling is probably the worst decision of her life. And now , here she was , more heart broken than ever.
She cried herself to stupor ,blaming her ancestors for her bad luck . But most especially blaming the waiter and the horrible red wine for her current pitiful situation.
After cleaning her snots and tears with Gabriel's expensive suit to feel better at least , she came to an abrupt conclusion. She'll beat him to pulp .
Yes !! She'll beat some sense into him.
With this in mind, she lied down on the bed and fell asleep.

"I think .....I like you ." She spoke while staring straight into his eyes.
He had been asked to get the contract that they've been working on signed by the Zeus construction company.
Getting their contract signed by them has been proved to be more difficult than getting an honey from the mount Kilimanjaro
Untill an opportunity, a very great one presented itself,when the heiress of the company attended the birthday party.
Gabriel was enjoying his evening with Mera , both were dancing . And he was enjoying every bit of it. The way she fitted perfectly in his embrace and the slight dazed look on her face had been his undoing.
Even though she was pretty much stepping on him the throughout the whole dance , he still enjoyed it.
Until , his evening was disrupted when his phone rang .
"Hello . " The rigid voice that belonged to none other than his brother spoke .
"Yeah ? " He prompted . Wanting to get back at his peaceful dance.
"Sakura is here. " Micheal told him in his iconic ' business voice '
"Who is this Sakura ?? Look I've been done with flings lately." He whispered into the phone glancing at Mera .
"Gab , forget about those rubbish flings of yours. I'm talking about Sakura , the heiress of Zeus construction. "
"Yeah so ??. " He asked pretty much oblivious to what his brother wanted him to do.
"What do you mean so ?? Go welcome her. Give her those charms of yours that you usually boast of . Get her to sign the contract. Or make things easier. " He instructed and Gabriel widened his eyes.
"Are you asking me to seduce her ??. "
"Seduce her , have sex with her , hypnotize her . Do whatever you know. Just makes sure that she signs the damn contract. Or help you make things easier. Else .... Well you'll know what's up . " He cut off the call not even waiting to the suprise Gabriel to say something. Well it's not like he has anything to say . What do one day to that kind of errands ?? Especially involving a billion dollars worth or even more.
And now he was torn between work and private life again. But who was he kidding?? Micheal would skin him alive if he didn't do his job diligently.
"Uhmm, could you excuse me for a minute ?? ." He scratched the tip of his nose .
"Huh ?? " She asked innocently. And he wanted to kiss her nose for how cute she looked right now.
He saw an Entourage escorting someone in , and he knew without doubt that the so called Sakura is here.
"I have to go. It's business related. " He find himself leaning towards her and his gaze lingered on her cute chubby cheeks. The urge to kiss her cheeks was so great that he had to clear his throat and apparently his head.
He walked to the Sakura , that was a blond , wearing a red long dress that expose a little bit of whatever breast she has.
He put on his super charming and flirty expression on , getting ready for the long lies and flattery . She wasn't really a great beauty but not a plain Jane either.
Gabriel sighed as he sighted a few company delegates swarming around her like flies. This is gonna be a tough competition. But he has to win. Else........ Well he doesn't know what will happen yet.
"Hii miss Sakura . I'm Gabriel Gerald. " He extended his hand for a polite handshake. He has to take things slowly
"Ohhh, you're one of the popular Gerald brothers right ?? I've heard so much about you . And I must say , you're more handsome and delicious looking that the magazine let on.." she smacked her lips and winked.
Oh it looked like there was no need to take things slow anymore. She's already making things easier.
"And I must say ma'am , that the magazine does no Justice to your ethereal beauty as well. " He took her elongated hands and kiss it . He felt her shivering and he smiled in delight . This was going to be easier than he thought.
"Let's sit shall we ?? ." She smiled so widely that Gabriel wondered if her cheeks hurt . She immediately wrapped her arms around his shoulders.gently leaning and rubbing his arms against her breast .
This soon ?? Well he could play along.
They sat down to a table especially reserved for the higher class , like there was different company that were either aspiring to build connection or strengthen their connections.
"Ma'am ??. " He tapped her gently when he felt a hand , her hand to be particular caressing his upper thigh and making him feel quite uncomfortable.
"Just Kura . You can call me Kura " she replied sultry . Not even concentrating on what the feeble man with glasses whose voice was barely audible was saying
"I would like to reintroduce the Gerald holdings to you. Though you might have heard of their capabilities and incredible prowess. "He spoke loudly , subtly dismissing whatever the man in over flashy clothes was saying . The man glared hard at Gabriel's vein that was in the neck , eyeing the fork that laid on the table and wishing he could magically stab him without moving .
He smirked at him.
"Oh yes. Go on Gabby ." She laughed prompting the other to laugh or at least smile politely albeit stiffly.
"The Gerald holdings is a group of specialised companies that deals with different aspects of business. From production, to construction. Importing and exporting . " He finished with a flourish.
"Oh I see . There's no doubt of your capability I assure you. I've heard a lot about your company. And I'll make sure to inform my father of your diligence and intelligence that you'll no doubt ensure to have a good result . " She rubbed on his thighs again ,this time moving higher and higher . Dangerously so.
"I heard you're planning to build a resort . Here in Newland. Please make sure to contact us." The man in flashy clothes said again. Actually Gabriel has nothing against flashy clothes and colours but can't he at least pair them well ??
"I'm afraid I'll have to turn down the offer. Thank you for it though. We already have a constructor in mind . The only next step is awarding the contract to them. " She smiled brightly at them and motioned to one of her body guards that was standing at an arm length away from them.
She whispered into his ears , he bobbed his head up and down .
She moved her hands again and Gabriel seethed . Planning to take everything out on Micheal after the contract as been signed.
He raised his glass and said "to a future that's bright . "
The rest repeat what he said grudgingly and raise their glasses for cheers.
The slow waltz music that was playing stopped suddenly and went from the slow beat to a very upbeat music.
He snuck a lot around the hall , running a quick scan, trying to locate Mera . But he had little luck before Sakura tried to whipped his head straight.
She attempted to unbutton his trousers and...he snapped. He had enough of this.
Without wanting to let on his emotional feeling , he removed her hands gently and placed a kiss on her cheeks.

He turned his face to a side away from the giggling minx , trying to wipe the make up that stained his lips when he got a shocker..
He saw Mera , stomping her foot on the ground and moving wobbly out of the hall.
"Fuck Micheal for all this shit. " He murmured.
"Did you say something darling?? " Sakura leaned over and asked.
"Ahh , I think I need to go to the rest room. " He said trailing his eyes over to the woman that looked like she could be blown away by the wind .
"Should I follow you ??." She smacked her lips yet again.
"I'll be back real soon. " He stood up and left .
He got outside and looked around searching for Mera .
He walked to the garden and there she was. Sitted on a rock , shoe amiss and examining the rose bush. Muttering some words to herself.
Gabriel stopped in his track to approach her when she suddenly stood up and screamed. So hard that Gabriel thought the whole place was going to be torn down.
"Fuck you Gabriel......for making me miserable... for making me feel like a fool " she shouted on top her lungs .
"I wouldn't mind being fucked but at least I'll have to know what my offense is ?? " He said and she turned to face him , cheek red and eyes wide.
"You skin is so red. Did you drink a lot ?? " He walked towards her gently .
She moved back a little, contemplated on something and spoke loudly
"I think ....I like you . "
His eyes grew wide as saucers and his mouth dropped. His heart must have stopped beating.
"You're drunk . " He found himself saying
"I'll take you in." He approached her gently like one would approach a wounded dog .
"You're drunk .." he repeated again.

He leaned against the door and tugged at his hair . Why did he say that ??.
Now he was feeling bad . Did he like her ?? He did know that his heart beat like crazy when she's at close proximity, his mouth waters when she's drying off her hair .
And most of all he doesn't like to see her hurt .
And now he was the one hurting her.
