Chapter forty
Truth or Dare .
"The popcorn is heeerrreee ." Emily shouted from outside the door .
Mera opened her eyes groggily. Wow she had slept off and Gabriel was no where in sight .
"Ready or not here I come . " Emily kicked the door open and came in with her two hands packed .
She scoffed when she saw that Mera was still sleeping or rather was just waking up
"You're still sleeping?? " She dumped all the content in her hand , on the bad .
"Where's Hana ?? " Mera muttered
"She's preparing the booze downstairs.." she did a little dance
"Booze ? What for ? " Mera sat up right and yawned covering her mouth with the back of her hand
"Whst do you mean?? We're drinking tonight . " She whistle
Mera got up from the bed and adjusted her clothes . She went to the closet to put on some comfy pants.
"I honestly don't know what the party is all about ?? . " She wore her cute bunny slippers and motioned to the door . But the mischievous smile on Emily's face made her pause in her tracks
"I know that smile . " She pointed at Emily's widened lips
"Sit down . Sit down ." She patted the bed and reminded Mera of Gabriel .
Talking of Gabriel, where exactly was he ?
"To do what ?? " She rolled her eyes but sat on the bed none the less .
Emily wiggled her brows playfully and smiled sheepishly .
"That secret?? "She partially covered her mouth with her hand just like a kid in nursery School would do if she was divulging a secret of their teacher to her playmate .
Mera placed her hand on her chin and pretended to be in deep thought.
She sighed and scratched her neck " which secret is that ?? I really don't remember you know . I've been having hazy memories these days . "
Emily drew her brows together and frowned
"You don't remember?? "
Mera almost burst into laughter at the expression on Emily's face .
She shook her head and looked innocently at her .
"I see . " Emily replied in a low voice .
Mera was on the verge of bursting into laughter when suddenly Emily suddenly tackled her and made her fall back on the bed . She tickled her and Mera laughed uncontrollably .
"You don't remember?? You still don't remember? Should I tickle you some more ? " Emily told her
"I.... remember..." Mera said in between hiccups.
"Now will you tell me or should I continue?? " Emily asked with a serious expression .
"I'll tell your lordship . Only if you release me "
Emily stood up from sitting on Mera
"Speak . " She tried to sound commanding making Mera scoff
"Actually it's a long story . " She replied wistfully .
"Worry not I'm prepared to hear it . " Emily flipped her hair like a douchebag
"Here we go . Don't laugh . " She stared sternly and Emily nodded like a sheep
"Actually it's been a few days since I realized my feelings for him . He's always been good to me but he's more than that . Anyways I found out about my feelings for him and decided to keep it to myself until it dissipate . "
"Awwwwwn . So ? " Emily prodded .
"So we went to the party and that was when it happened . "
"What Happened?? "Emily asked eagerly .
"Calm your tiddies . " Mera rolled her eyes but continued anyways .
"I was dancing with him or rather stepping on his feet when he received a phone call . He claimed to have received an important call and so ? He left . I was tired and wanted some rest for my legs when I sighted them . " She stopped briefly .
"Them ?? Them who ? " Emily craned her neck and asked . She patted the pillow that sat on her laps and fluffed them up with a dreamy look on her face .
"Gabriel and some skinny blond that clung to him like a second skin . I carelessly collected a wine from the waiter and drank it in a go . Even though he tried to warn me of the capacity of the drink , still I declined and drunk it . I was beyond pissed . I went to the garden to vent out my problems but then he came there . And in the middle of my confession at that . "
"Really?? What did he say ?? " .
"He only said "you're drunk . Imagine that . And so , he took me to our room and left soon after . Then it was the time at the restaurant . And the rest ... You can guess . " She winked at her
"Get stop that . You should the story .. pretty pretty please?? " She gave her best puppy face .
"There's nothing to tell .. " Mera stuck out her tongue at Emily and made a funny face .
"I'll found out the whole story myself . "Emily stood up from the bed .
"We'll see , won't we ?? " Mera replied and fluttered her eye lashes .
"I'm reeaaasdddyyy .... " Hana voice drifted upstairs .
Soon footstep accompanied the high pitched sound .
"What are you guys doing?? Let's get down . I've prepared the drinks . Let's get drunk tonight . Yeah !! " She said to them
"Hope Alicia won't be there ?? I can't bare it " Emily whined.
"No , she won't be there of course . It's just the three of us . " Hana reassured them .
"Yay !!! "Emily jumped up and down excitedly .
They all headed downstairs to start their own personal party .

"What do you suggest we do first ?? " Mera opened the bottle of wine and poured herself a generous amount.
"Ion know . Should we play card game? " Hana inquire .
"Did anyone said card game ?? Here it is !! " Nancy came into view with cards in her hand .
"Whot ?? " Emily peered into the card.
"Of course . Now let's get started shall we ?? ". Hana rubbed her hands together in anticipation .
"I'll shuffle the cards . " Mera offered .
Soon Mera shares the card and they all got into the game .
"Pick up two "..
"Reject. "
"You're good at this . "Mera complemented Nancy .
Nancy and Emily were the only one left . Both were going to play and see who wins .
"I'll shuffle the cards . "Hana said excitedly .
"I'm rooting for you . " She whispered into Nancy's ear and snorted at Emily which she gladly did the same .
"Now let's see who wins . " Mera spoke loudly .
"Share the card will you ?? I'm ready to let you guys know who the boss is . "Emily said boastfully.
"Is that it?? Well then . I'll show you the stuff I'm made up . " Countered Nancy puffing out her chest and they all laughed .
Hana shared the card and both Emily and Nancy got into the game . Both look concentrated like they were playing some lottery tickets that'll give them a lot of money . Only that there's no money , all that was left of their pride and ego that they had . Emily wanted to win. Well ?? So did Nancy .
The game went on and on and it seems like it's never going to end
"This is tough . " Mera whispered to Hana and she nodded her head in agreement. The game looked really tough .
"Last card . " Emily screamed and smiled triumphantly .
"I told you . Who's the king?? Who's the boss ? " She stared at each one of them .
"You cheated . " Mera said suddenly and they all laughed . It was crystal clear that she won fair and square .
"What are we going to do next ?? " Emily asked them
"Truth or Dare . "Nancy suggested with a straight face . She went into the kitchen and brought out two drinking glasses .
"What for ?? "Emily asked amused .
"Combo drink for the loser . "Nancy replied . She poured the three different wines together and mixed them . The rest cheered loudly .
The door opened and the three brothers came in .
"Oh . You guys came in at the right time . Come join us . " Nancy waved to them . Micheal looked fascinated and Gabriel more so . Samuel looked uninterested as always .
"We're in " Gabriel smiled widely and moved to join them before any of his brothers could decline .
They all sat on the floor and they waited for their game coordinator who is none other than Nancy .
"We'll be playing truth or dare . " She repeated to them
"If you can't reveal the truth you'll drink and if you can't do the dare you'll drink . " She informed them
She brought out a box that no one knew she was holding . It contained some questions for truth or dare .
"We'll go in our sitting order . Micheal first , me , Mera , Samuel Gabriel , Emily and Hana . Each of of you will tell us if you're either going for truth or dare . As you can see , there are two piles of the paper . If you're going for truth you choose this , if you're going for dare , you'll choose this . " She pointed at the aforementioned sides .
"Now let's get started. Remember the consequence . You have to drink the whole glass . "
"Micheal you start first . " Nancy told him .
Micheal casually went for the 'truth' pile and chose one from the top .
"It says " what is your body count . " He showed them the tiny piece of paper .
They looked at him eagerly, waiting for him to spill out the truth ,when he suddenly went for the glass
"Eh you're no fun . " Emily poked him
He chugged down the content and didn't look affected in the least .
Wow . He's sure a drinking expert .
Nancy went straight into the dare pile and chose one from the middle .
"It says "dare to lick the toilet seat . " Nancy looked disgusted .
"I don't think I can do that . I'll just drink . " She said and reached out meekly for the mixture of alcohol on the table . She looked terrified as her fingers gently approached the drink .
"Micheal will you drink it for me ?? You're a heavy drinker. Hmmm?? " She held his hand and peered into his eyes . " Pretty pretty please?? " She tried her luck again . But Micheal only remained unmoving like a statue m
Finally she gave up and was about to carry the glass , when Micheal suprised them . He took the glass from her and chugged it down .
Cool .
And then after a few turns it was finally Emily's . .
She dived into the dare pile and Mera eyes widened.
Emily is going for a dare??
"It says "kiss your opposite gender on the lips for three minutes" . " Emily facepalmed herself .
A peek at the drink made her shudder . But who could she kiss ?? She couldn't possibly kiss Gabriel or Samuel ??
She summoned her courage and moved closer to Micheal .
Nancy looked annoyed for some reason but no one seems to notice or rather no one cared . All eyes were on Emily to see what her next step would be .
Micheal had turned rigid like an Ice on his seat .
Emily finally got to where he was , she took a deep breath as her hands shakily cradled Micheal's face . She stared at his soft plump lips . It looked Fuller and more gorgeous on a closer inspection.
Lost in her thought , she didn't realize when Micheal placed his lips on hers . She turned to a stone immediately .
He moved his lips against hers a few times before she back to her senses . But what could she do ??
Nothing .
She kissed him back .
He playfully pried her lips open with his coarse and gritty tongue and Emily didn't know when she opened up for him .
He suckled on her lower lips and a tiny moan found its way to her lips .
He placed his hand on her back to steady her as he deepened the kiss . She could only concur and relish the delicious taste of his lips .
Until someone cleared their throat . Emily quickly snatched her lips away which caused him to gently scraped his teeth on her tongue .
"That was cute .. " Mera spoke loudly and Emily flushed scarlet . Micheal avoided eye contact with all of them and looked away .
