Chapter forty four
Date night .
"Now this math isn't mathing . The medicine as it is . It could be used to stop purging . But if abused it could cause a lot of bowel damages like constant purging. " Micheal narrowed his eyes to bare slits as he explained to them .
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?? This couldn't be what I'm thinking right ? " Hana smiled nervously . Micheal looked so furious right now as he gnashed his teeth to reign control on his temper .
Just then the door open and Nancy came in with a cup of something .

"Why are you guys like that ?? You all look serious . " She stopped Midway to access them

"Oh Emily !! You're awake ! Thank God . I was beginning to get worried . " She moved closer to Emily and laid her palm on her forehead .
"You're running a normal temperature . I brought you a abalone porridge. You should eat this a d take your medicine. " She took Emily's hand in hers and patted it .
"Uhhm Nancy did you ordered any medicine?? " Mera asked casually .
Nancy looked quite stricken before laughing a little bit nervously .
"Medicine?? I don't really.....no . I didn't order any medicine. Nancy stared wide eyed at them .
"What about this ?? " Micheal held up the medicine pack and smiled a bit cynically .
"This is .... isn't ...oh yeah . Now I remember . I actually ordered one medicine online . I was having a hard time taking a dump . So it did help me . But what is wrong ?? " She looked up at Micheal .
"But you already used half of the pack and your ordered came in only yesterday .." Hana chimed in . Nancy silently glared at Hana before replying .
"Yes I had to use that much become it wouldn't work . " She stood up on a eye level with Micheal and folded her arms under her breast .
"What are you guys tryna insinuate?? That I was the one who poisoned her ? Huh? " She eyed him and scoffed

"We were just asking a question here . No need to get personal . This is the exact drug that was prescribed to Micheal at the pharmacy . It was both used for good and bad . Did anyone say anything about you poisoning her ? Why are you getting strained up ? " Mera glared right back at Nancy .
"Huh ?? Getting personal ? Tell me that what you guys were discussing before I come in ? I can't believe that I went ahead to get her something to eat and get you guys are doubting me . " Nancy pointed at her chest .
"We actually don't mean it like that . We just needed to confirm something that was why we asked you . " Micheal said trying to dismiss the hostile air that was brewing .
Nancy stomped her foot and scoffed , she went out of the room looking like she'll cry any moment .
Mera stood up and went out of the room too . Leaving only Hana and Micheal with Emily .
Hana stared intently at her foot not daring to look Micheal in the eye . Making Emily chuckle
"Are you okay ?? " Micheal asked seriously.
"You've asked that question at least for a thousand times today . And yes I'm feeling better now . I can feel the drug kicking in ." She slumped back on the bed
"I think I'll go now . " Hana said and sped out of the room .

Mera paced around the room gently with her sift fluffy bunny slippers , she had her hands in her waist and bobbed her head up and down in thinking .
Something was wrong somehow , somewhere . She just can't lay her hands on what exactly . But none the less , she'll be sure to inform everyone to put up their guards .
Her phone beeped , distracting her from her disturbing thought for a second .
She checked the screen and smiled when she saw the sender of the message .
It was Gabriel . The former Gabriel that was now saved as " Boyfy " with heart emoji .
"There's a package coming in for you . Get dress before 6:00 pm . Will be back to pick you up . " With a wink emoji .
Her heart raced and she giggled to herself . Are they going on a date ??
Wow !! That would be nice . She hugged her phone to her chest . This guy is showing her some other side of him .
She suddenly remembered the package and ran downstairs .
A man was delivering a blue box wrapped with a cute peach ribbon to Charles and he was signing .
Charles walked up to her , all smiles and she had no choice no option but to smile back . His smile was contagious .
"A package came for you miss Mera right ? " Charles asked and held out the box . Even the box and the package look so good .
"It's just Mera . Thanks . " She collected the box and skidded off upstairs .
She opened the door and threw herself on the bed eager to see what was in the box .
She was even sad to tear away the wrappings . "Awwn. This is cute . " She held out the note that was written in bold masculine letters .
"A beautiful dress for a beautiful angel . "
Mera held up the dress and she couldn't help but cooed .
It was a maroon colored dress with golden lace decorating the neckline and the upper part of the dress . She widened her eyes at the number of zeros on the price tag .
"What ?? This could be used to open a boutique . "
"He's so thoughtful !! " She held the dress to her neck and twirled around in front of the mirror .
She just couldn't wait for six pm .
"What should I do ?? What should I do ?? " She jumped excitedly on the bed smiling widely .
After getting tired , and getting rid of the adrenaline , she sat on the chair and pondered on what next to do .
She grabbed her phone to check the time and it's just three pm .
"I still have some time left ... " She took her purse and hurried outside . She needed to get the ingredients for the face mask .
She couldn't wait to see what he has in Suprise for her .
Would he reserve a place?? Will he do something crazy ??
Thought are the only thoughts in her head as she hastily grabbed whatever ingredients she needed .
Tumeric , coconut oil , some tea leaves , fresh cucumber and whatnot .
She took a taxi back home .
Where the mansion was located was quite far and reserved , it was on the farther end of the city . But she loved it like that .
The views and the gorgeousness of the nature was so interesting to watch .
She dumped all the content of the plastic white bag on the table before proceeding to see what the next time is .
After what seems like eternity , she was finally able to come out with a good result . She applied it on her face and neck .
She glanced upward at the clock that was placed there , the poor thing was barely used as they all had gotten used to checking whatever on their hand phones .
"Eh ?? It's four already?? " She rushed to the bathroom to take yet another bath .
She grabbed the new razor and nodded her head . The shaving foam was next and she did applied a generous amount on her leg .
After shaving them , she went on about on her hair .
This curly thick hair of hers.
She grabbed the shampoo and applied quite a lot on her hair . She tried to gently rubbed it in her hair as she always see on the TV but ended up scratching her head
A huge ass conditioner followed and she leave it in for some minutes . Trying to be time conscious as ever .
Jugging in between this and that .
Now she took a bath . Or rather a dip in a well of scented oils and perfumed soaps .
She got out of the bathroom feeling pretty and elegant already .
She dries her hair with care , applied the needful and let it alone in it's glorious voluminous large curls with packing it up or styling it as she usually does .
She raised the dress up and was amused when the material shone and glittered in the light of the golden chandelier .
"This is so beautiful . " She couldn't help but admire it again . Just what she like . Not too extravagant but just the right amount of sophistication and elegance . In addition to being beautiful .
She wore the dress , the earrings and the heels that came with it . And the woman staring back at her in the mirror look like somebody else she didn't recognize .
She was smiling gently back at her with happiness glinting in her eyes . She is indeed happy .
Having little to no makeup on enhanced her natural beauty and made her look more different .
The door opened , putting a temporary stop to her moment of self admiration .
The look on Gabriel's face warmed her face . He looked totally entranced and dumbfounded .
"You're beautiful .. " he said I a low voice not even once removing his gaze from her . Mera's face pinked some more .
"I didn't know this color could do this much . But honestly it isn't because of the dress but because of the angel wearing the dress . She'll look good in anything she wears . " He moved closer and held her by the waist . .
Mera laughed shyly and looked away .
"Why are you so good with words ?? " She spoke into his suit .
He was wearing a midnight blue tuxedo and he looked much more handsome with his hair sleeked backwards exposing his forehead and with a part .
"They never stop . The words just won't stop coming out of my mouth . " He kisses her head and she quivered .
"Let's go angel . " He held her hand and led her away .

Gabriel had done much more than surprising Mera . He had totally make sure that she was dumbstruck .
She opened her mouth and refused to closed them as if they wouldn't glue back together again.
The place was more than extravagant .
It was on the 31st floor of the light hotel . A hotel that has to be booked at least a month or two before you can place a reservation.
The tiny crystal light that dangled above the tent that was made especially for them was so beautiful.
It had a window to it . Showing the dark sky and the tiniest of the stars . They came together to give some meaning and thoughtfulness to the sky . ..
"Do you like it ?? " Gabriel pointed at the feast in front of them .
Steak and mashed potatoes . Salads and some creme brulee for the desert .
"This is beautiful . " She almost want to sob .
"Not as beautiful as you . I was worried you wouldn't like it . Not everyone appreciate a dinner date at the rooftop . " He held out a chair and waited for a to sit .
Like a real gentleman .
"I love it . " She stared into his obsidian eyes . That reflected her own and she could see it clearly then .
Affection . Adoration and mostly love .
