Chapter forty Six
Truce .
Hana meet Rosa , Belle and Simeon . They're the best in the department. He introduced them to each other .
"Nice to meet you . " She held out her hand shyly for a shake .
"Now if we're done with the pleasantries. Let's get into the work . Like I've told you guys , Hana is the Mastermind behind the idea . So how exactly are we going to implement this idea within three hours . They're be here in three hours right ?? . " He looked at their face for confirmation and they nodded except Hana .
"Three hours ?? Isn't it ? " Hana frowned .
"Well that's why I called you all here . Let's think about a way . " He assumed the position of the strict boss fluidly changing his tone .
Wow . This guy is unbelievable .
"Samuel and I should tackle the paper work . Rosa could get on with the advertising , but let's limit it to billboard . Make sure to include the Gerald name for more publicity . Belle could assist you . Simeon should get the venue and everything ready . You guys can ask some other members for support . Samuel what do you think ?? . " Hana looked up at his face and she couldn't help but smile .
He looked totally dumbfounded and star stricken.
She glanced at the other and they all had the same look on their face . Suprise .
"What do you guys think. Is it bad ?? Isn't possible?? Y'all should say something . " She said grimly . If her idea wasn't good at least they could talk so that they'll all know what to do next .
"Samuel !! Say something . We don't have all day. " She tugged at his shirt dragging him into reality .
"Well you guys know what to do . Let's get on with it . " He dismissed the team .
They all bowed and left the room to begin the tiring process . That was even more tiring with the limitation of time .
"You're such a genius . I knew I could count on you . " He gave her thumbs up .
"Of course . Who do you think I am . " She said feeling herself .
"Getting cocky are we ?? Anyway . Let's proceed . " He pointed to the mini office that looked impromptu set .
"I got this ready this morning . To make working easier . " He pointed to the laptop . It was the MacBook .
"You can take it home after you're done . It's yours . And yeah , stop staring at me like that . I heard your complaint this morning . " He chuckled and sat down .
Hana walked to the ' office ' set especially for her . She was awed by the thoughtfulness but drew all that thought aside for the time being .
A huge mountain of work is waiting for them .

Emily ate the bunny shaped apple feeling bad for the bunnies as she crunched the apple .
"You shouldn't have made it this beautiful and now I can't eat . " She pointed to the almost finished apple on the bowl .
Micheal has been spoiling her non-stop since that incident . Which the cause of it was still unsure .
What could cause it exactly?? They didn't know .
But Emily strongly felt like it was someone's fault and has something to do with what she ate .
But that matter remained unsolved mysteries . Nancy has refused to talk with any of them . Claiming they couldn't believe her over a small misunderstanding .
"Yeah I could see that . After finishing almost all the apples , now you can't eat ?? " Mera sneered from the chair where she was watching a kdrama titled the little women .
"Honestly I really can't eat this . " She took one of the apple to eye level and stared at it .
"I'm sorry baby . You'll only rot if I don't eat you . Forgive mommy okay?? Hmm? " She ate the apple .
"Emily wanna hear something?? " Mera leaned in as usual . The gossiping position.
"Apart from the fact that I'm crazy? No thanks I'll pass. " She rolled her eyes and adjusted the covers around herself .
"Ewww . Not that . We all know that we're a bunch of crazy ass . But wanna hear something juicy and interesting?? " She whispered and Emily nodded .
Who wouldn't ??
"I went on a date with Gabriel . " She blushed a little and grinned . Emily joined her and both start to grin like fools
"Really?? You guys are really having chemistry . !! I hope it works out for you " She held Mera's hand and giggled .
"I know right?? I would have told you sooner but you were indisposed . Anyways he bought me a dress and the accessories as a suprise .!!! ." Mera yelled and threw her hands in the air .
"Really?? I love that . You guys are really making me feel single . You should have seen Hana and Samuel the other day . The way they were stealing glance at each other . Something I love to see . " She said .
"What do you mean making you feel single ? Aren't you in a relationship too ?? . " Mera frowned .
"The fuck do you mean ?? In a relationship with who ?? Micheal? . We couldn't even have a proper conversation without argument . " Emily laughed .
"Well I think Micheal has some affection for you . I mean , you should see how disturbed he was when you lost consciousness because you were too weak . He was running Helter skelter . Like for real . "
"It's all just an act . I'm sure Alicia was there at that time right ? " Emily asked unsure .
Well he has been acting quite compassionate and a little bit fun these days but she thought she was just growing on him .
"Well let's stop talking about that . Your movie is playing and you're not concentrating on it . " Emily turned her head away from Mera .
"Hey hey ! Stop trying to cover the conversation up . Is something happening between you ? Well even if you won't tell me I'll find out myself . " Mera smiled smugly and Emily slapped her hands away .
No one talked afterwards . The both concentrate on the movie like there's no tommorow .
But Emily couldn't just help but to think . What if she's right ??
Men could be unpredictable right ??
"Ohoui what am I even thinking of ?? " She shook her head trying to dissipate the thought .
She caught Mera smiling from the corner of her eyes .
"After this movie I'm going to my room to sleep . " Mera announced .
"Sleep?? Again ? Waaah . You're something else . What were you doing throughout the night ?? Huh? Building sand castle? " Emily said experatedly .
"Well no . I was sleeping . But what else do you expect me to spend the rest of my days doing ? Babysitting you. Thanks but no . " Mera chuckled .
"Babysitting me ? Do I look like a baby to you . You're so boring. And I'm so bored . Now I'm in very bad situation . " Emily pouted .
"Tell Micheal to play with you when he's back ." Mera gave Emily some advice .
"Ewwwww. No !! . Finish your movie and get out of my room. " Emily yelled at Mera .
"No need to yell . I'll definitely leave your room for you when I'm done . You'll be begging me to come back . " Mera stuck out her tongue at Emily . She quickly closed her mouth and burst into laughter when she saw Emily stealthily approaching the fork .
"I'm only in this situation because Micheal won't let me go out . " Emily whined .
"Awwn . Sorry eh not sorry . "
"I'll kill you someday . I promise you . " Emily smiled at Mera .
The door opened and Micheal came in .
"Hii . " He smiled at Emily and nodded to Mera
Mera winked at Emily and giggled .
"I'll be off now . Take care . " She wiggled her eyebrows playfully and went out of the room smiling .
Emily sighed softly when her thought went back to what Mera said . Affection??
That's quite hard to picture Micheal in . He was just being badly nice and nothing else .
Affection or whatnot is not for people like him
"How are you feeling . " Micheal said while coming out of the bathroom .
"Better . But bored . " She pouted .
Micheal chuckled and went into the closet to change . He came out in a grey sweat pants and shirt.
"Sorry but you need to rest . You lost a lost a of weight . Just look at you. " He pointed at her thin neck .
"But I've been resting since yesterday . " She whined again.
"You need to rest more and moreover I've been wanting to discuss this with you . You should be careful of what you eat and drink . You never know what may happen . Remember the time at the party ,?? . " He came to sit right in front of her .
"Well....I...wo...wouldn't know.. " Emily stuttered and lowered her eyelashes .
"Why are you so trusting ? Huh ? " Micheal squinted his eyes .
"What are you so distrusting ? Huh? " She retorted back .
"Well you couldn't go on trusting everyone in the world . You'll only die early . " Micheal replied in as - a - matter - of - fact tone .

"You're rude !! . " He stares right into her eyes and she did exactly the same .
"You're silly . A silly boy . " She eyed him a bit viciously .
"Look you don't have much time till our contract expires . Let's not get into another fight . I'll try to talk mom to going back to Italy . We shouldn't fight else she'll notice that something's up and we wouldn't want that . Would we?? " He spoke in a soft tone contradicting his usual self .
"Well you're the one who's always causing trouble . I'm not a two year old you know . " She snickered at him .
"Who's been troublesome right now ?? . " Micheal sighed and pinched his brows .
"Alright . Let's call it a truce shall we?? " She held out her hand for a shake .
His large palm engulfed her tiny own and he gave her a firm shake lingering on the contact a little .
Emily was the one who snatched her hands away and laughed nervously .
"Truce it is . " Micheal grinned at her and she smiled
Emily was more than sure that they'll break this truce of theirs within some hours . They'll probably never get along .
He was too mule headed and she was too... Well not very good but not bad either .
She just can be crazy every once in a while as Mera liked to call it .
She smiled despite herself . Truce .
"Micheal ? Can I go out now ?? " She looked at him expectantly .
Just to see him nodding his head slowly in negative .
"Aiissh . I knew it . This darn truce wouldn't last. " She spoke under her breath .
