Trip

Nancy had refused to talk to any of them claiming that she felt hurt and betrayed . How could they think so lowly of her ??
They actually she would that despicable thing to someone she considered as a friend a sister??
She packed her bags and all the things she came with .
She was going to leave today . Then everything will be alright or maybe not .
She heaved a sigh and carried her bag , heading downstairs .
She got to the living room and saw Alicia sitting down on the chair receiving a phone call and speaking so formally . She was probably doing business .
She paused for a second looking at Nancy from head to toe and the bags she was carrying .
She motioned for Nancy to stop and pointed to her phone indicating for her to wait till she was done .
Nancy frowned a little but sat on the chair none the less waiting for Alicia to finish whatever she was doing so that she can be on her way .
Alicia finished her call and dropped her phone .
"Why are you going ?? Did you already know what I planned for you guys? " She asked with an amused expression .
"Planned ? You had something planned for us ?" Nancy asked .
"Yeah . I just finished making reservations for you guys at a inn in Jeju island . " She smiled widely at Nancy . Nancy found herself smiling too .
That means she could stay !!
"But are the others aware ?? . " Nancy chewed on her bottom lips . She was almost sure that either Micheal or one of them will decline .
"Nope . It's a suprise . Micheal and his brothers had been working really hard this days . I figured they could use some time off and enjoy a little vacay . Who knows you might find someone too ! . " She winked at Nancy and she smiled .
"Well then . You should tell them before they go to work . " Nancy suggested excitedly . Happiness glinted in her eyes like a child that had just been gifted her favorite candy .
"I see you're happy at the thought of getting someone too . You guys go even go camping for a day or two . " She smiled

"But wait ?? Why did you pack your stuff before?? " Alicia pointed at Nancy's packed up bag .
"Ahhh . Errm I was gonna go on a vacation by myself . I didn't know you had a suprise for us already . " Nancy said with a small small
"Vacation? But what about the reservations you've made ?? "
"Re... reservation? Oh yeah right . I'll cancel them right now . This is more important than going on a solo trip . "
"Lemme get Micheal and the others . ". Alicia patted Nancy's head and walked away .
"This should be fun ! . " Nancy said to herself and smiled .

"You guys should start packing . " Alicia said to them .
Micheal stared at his mom incredulously and so did Emily.
Did she just say pack your bags??
"For what mom?? . " He questioned his mom with a frown on his face .
Was his mother still on this offering condolences of s thing?
"Look mom , I know you really wanted to offer your sincere condolences to Mrs ling . But I think you should do that yourself . I'm very busy right now . "
He truly was . He was in the middle of buttoning up his shirt when his mother came in
Emily stared at his mother , wide mouthed and droopy eyes .
She was painting her nails and humming to herself when Alicia came in suddenly requesting that they start packing their bags .
"What for ?? " Was the question on the tip of her tongue to ask but she immediately swallow the question when she saw the unpleased look on Micheal's face .
She swallowed some saliva to soothe her parched throat . She couldn't even dare clear her throat , the atmosphere was quite tense for now .
Maybe Micheal could be the one to ask all the question while Emily would be staring at the mother and son duo .
"Actually it's killing two birds with a stone . Mrs ling isn't in Hong Kong right now . She's in Jeju island, her husband's home town . I figured that you could use some vacation so I reserved some rooms for you guys , . You could just take a week off work . I think you're gonna die early at this rate . " Alicia explained and folded her arms under breast and glared at Micheal . Daring Micheal to glare back .
Which he of course couldn't .
" But mom .. " he couldn't finish the sentence as Alicia cut him off with a wave of her index finger .
"Nah nah . No but . The reservation's already being made . Hurry up and pack . " She blew Micheal a kiss and winked at Emily walking out of the room.
"This woman is something's that I really can't understand no matter how hard I try . What's the use of a silly vacation right now ?? " Micheal turned to face Emily who was giggling .
"What's funny ?? " He made a face .
"You are . A vein is popping out of your head . Right here . " She pointed to the side of his head .
He grunted and Emily laughed some more .
"She was just trying to help you . You and your brothers had been working yourselves to wretchedness these days . You even felt sick . So I guess she's just worried for your health . " Emily explained while staring into his eyes .
"Whatever imma go pack now . You do too . " He tugged at his hair one more time walking into the closet .
"Yes !! A vacation !! Been bored to death in this house . " She did a little dance and went to pack her bag .
As usual she was done within the blink of an eye , packing only the needful .
They'll only be there for a week .
She got her toothbrush and floss , her undies and some random clothes .
She grabbed her phone and dialed a number .
"Mera !! You heard ?? " She spoke excitedly into the phone .
"Heard what ?? " Mera sounded confused . Of course she would be .
"We're going to Jeju island !! " She squealed
"Really ?? To do what ? " Mera asked again .
"To enjoy ourselves of course . Putting into consideration of how bored to death I am in this huge house . Alicia decided to arrange a refreshing trip for us to ensure that we have a breath of fresh air . Isn't she the most thoughtful human ever ?? " She cooed.
"Okay I got the gist of it . Alicia is worried because her sons are overworking themselves and she wanted them to rest so she arranged the trip right ?? " Mera clarified the matter with a sigh .
"Jerk . Anyways we're going on a trip and that's all that matters . Not the reason behind it . " She rolled her eyes .
Mera completed guessed the reason and Emily was a bit annoyed .
"Bye . I'll have to start packing . It'll probably take forever . " Mera said tiredly . Like she wasn't a bit excited for the the trip .
"Lazy ass " Emily muttered under her breath.
"I heard that . " Mera said before ending the call
Emily bounced on the bed and sighed contentedly .
She would be going out of this house for a few days .
She'll make sure to make use of this time the best unlike the other time they travelled when she wasn't able to enjoy the trip a little bit.
She was going to enjoy every little bit of it . No minute is going to waste .
" Sam . Start packing . " Micheal said in a demanding tone and Emily rolled her eyes . Who passed information like that ??
Just like she had expected , his response was
"Start packing what ?? "
"Start packing your clothes and whatever you need to . We're going on a trip . " He said in that voice again.
"Mike can you just explain what this is all about ? Just cos I don't understand . " Samuel said .
Micheal pinched in between his brows frustratedly .
It was enough of a frustration that his mom was forcing him to go on a -not - needed vacation does his brother had to be dumb too ?
How couldn't he understand a simple sentence?
Pack your stuff? Is it that hard to comprehend??
"Mom insisted that we go on a God damned trip at Jeju island and"have some fun" as she called it . So yeah , you need to start packing and don't let me call you again . " Micheal frowned as if Samuel was present in the room .
Emily smiled imagining the amused or confused expression on Samuel's face .
Man be looking legit confused right now .

"Micheal said to start packing . " Samuel explained confusing dripping I his word .
"Just got a call from Mera telling me the same thing . Thank God that they contract's already been secured . " Hana stood up waking to the closet to start packing up .
Samuel sat on the bed wondering what his mother motive was for the trip . His mother always had a reason , a motive behind every little thing .
His mom and her mind games .
He stood and went to closet to get rid of his suit .

"Are we all done ?? " Emily asked them all and the ladies nodded while the gents where just staring at her .
"You could at least pretend to be happy . " Emily shook her head and smile .
Alicia told them the needful and bid them a goodbye . Micheal was the least interested in the trip .
He forced a smile on face lest his mother begin to lecture him .
Nah , he wasn't in for any nagging .
He slid in behind the wheel and ignite the car .
Until a head bobbing up and down made him stop the car .
Nancy was running toward them with a huge bag in her hand .
She was going too ?? That was the question in all of their minds . In caps !! .
She reaches where the car was and panted
"I can't believe you guys are going without me . I went to get some additional things I might need and you're already on your way . " She spoke to Micheal with a grin ??
"You were going too?? " Micheal raised on of his brows in inquiry.
Nancy smiled widely , so widely that Emily wondered if her cheeks and lips are made of stretchable skin
She opened the door and sat besides Emily in the back seat . Emily grunted , clearly uncomfortable with her presence . Infact the look on the others face indicated that Emily might not be the only one feeling that way .
"Emily . There's a misunderstanding that I would like to clarify . I know you guys had your reasons for doubting me but I swear to you that I'll never do that . " She looked on the verge of tears .
Emily cleared her throat feeling bad .
"We're sorry for doubting you . " Emily said and Nancy pulled her in for a hug
