Prisca scanned around the garden, her eyes filled with wonder at the beauty of everything surrounding her, the soft breeze made her hair swing in different directions, and her body captivated with nothing but delight. Indeed, her stepfather placed all his money into having such a luxurious asset. "These were planted a year ago, it's so good to watch them grow dramatically" Rex pointed at some flowers, their eyes fixed on them. Mesmerized by the flowers, Prisca moved closer to it, bent down, and touched it with her face filled with smiles. "They are really pretty, '' she muttered to Rex. Rex watched her with a smile, "Yes they are and I can see that you like them". "Like?" She turned to him with a smile, "Like is an understatement, I love them" she replied happily, her eyes filled with happiness. Rex laughed, "I and Grey did come here a lot when we were kids, we sure love to spend our alone time here" he paused as the feeling of nostalgia held him, "Those good old days of nothing but gladness, but now, he is nothing but a shadow of himself". Sadness welled up in his eyes as sad memories flowed straight into him, the summer breeze made his hair move sharply. Prisca looked up at him, she stood and walked towards him, she took a step next to him, they both had their eyes fixed on the flowers. "What happened? What made Grey change because I feel that you two aren't as close as you just said you were". Rex's lips stretched in a sad smile, his face held a mixed expression that made Prisca so. many thoughts going through her mind as she couldn't help but wonder what his reply might be. "Everything changed when we lost our mother in a plane crash five years ago" his sharp eyes flickered, his mind holding the pains of the past that seemed so strong on him. "Grey was never like this, in fact, he was the sweetest but after mum's death, he grew apart, he left this house for a year because this house reminds him so much of mother" he paused and turned to Prisca who felt so sad for both boys, now, she can understand why Grey is so hard tempered towards her and her mother. "That's really sad to hear Rex, I am so sorry about that" Prisca mumbled and they had their eyes back on the flowers, the summer breeze blowing their hairs in different directions. "It's fine Prisca, it's not your fault so you don't have to feel sorry about anything" "I know but I feel that I was too harsh on Grey after a few minutes passed. Will it be nice if I render my apology to him? We are family and I am not so good at keeping malice. Rex smiled, "Yeah sure". "Do you have any idea where I can find him?" She inquired. Rex turned his gaze back to the mansion with narrowed eyes, "He should probably be in the music room on the third floor". Prisca's eyes shone with delight, " There is a music room here?". Rex chuckled, "Of course, you seem so excited, are you into music?". Prisca laughed and tucked her hair which was being scattered all around by the wind, "Not really, I just play the piano, nothing interesting but is Grey into music?". Rex nodded, "Yes, he is and he doesn't like being disturbed when alone". Prisca's face dropped, "Oh, I see" she muttered. "Don't worry, you can go in, we are now family and I don't think he will be so harsh to you". Prisca shook her head in disappointment, "No way will I do such Rex, you saw the way he spoke to me a while ago. You could see the anger in his eyes as I irritated him, I don't want any more insults from him". Rex laughed, "He said all that because he was upset, he should be calm by now". Prisca shook her head again in resentment, "I am not sure this is a good idea, Rex, I don't want to present myself like a fool in front of him". With a calm look on his face, he walked towards him and placed his hands on her shoulders, their eyes pierced together, "You worry too much Prisca, just go to him, I know my brother so we'll. When he is angry, he says a lot of negative words but right now, I am sure that things will be calm all around him. Just go okay, and stop worrying yourself over nothing". With a calm look in her eyes, Prisca nodded, "Alright, I will go to him now" she responded meekly, the words of Grey kept ringing in her ears. Rex smiled and watched her walk away into the mansion, a feeling of affection filled his face. Feeling so awkward about everything, Prisca Climbed the stairs with a beating heart, she thinks this is a bad idea knowing how clear he warned her to stay off his path but here she is heading into his lion's den. Soon, she got to the third floor with regret of not taking the elevator, she panted loudly like she was almost out of breath with sweats trickling down her forehead. Prisca Looked down at her palms which of course were red from holding the stairs rails. With her eyes scanning each door she passed through, soon heard a soft Melody of a piano sound emitting from a room not far from where she stood. Prisca walked towards it, took a deep breath, and knocked on the door, her body shook with awkwardness with a fast beating heart. At once, the sound emitting from the room stopped and there was no permission given yet indicating that she is free to walk in. Prisca waited for what seemed like forever and he didn't say any words to her, courageously, she turned the doorknob and took a step into the large room which caught her breath. All around her were filled with all kinds of musical instruments she had never seen in her life. It seems like a place for music dwellers, with so much equipment she thought never existed. "What are you doing where?" A sharp voice caught her out of her wonders. Taken aback, Prisca's eyes turned to the direction the voice came from, the fast beating of her heart became so intense that it made her blood boil so hot. "I am sorry...I shouldn't have walked in without your permission" she stammered, her eyes flickered around as she tried her best not to stare into those green eyes of his. Grey stared at the brunette in front of him, he stood beside a large piano, his disgusted eyes fixed on her as he wondered how she got to know that he will be here. "I thought I told you to stay away from me?" He asked, his voice was blunt and so harsh that it pierced into Prisca's skin. "Yes you did but….." "Are you stalking me?" Grey cut through her words, his eyes not leaving her. Stunned by his question, she stared at him with broadened eyes, "Stalk you? No way Grey". "Then how did you figure out that I am in here?" His sharp eyes didn't leave her. Prisca looked away from him, she noticed the way her body was triggered by just staring at him and it made her feel so weird. "Rex informed me" she briefly replied wondering how a human could be this stiff. Grey didn't say a word but watched her, the hard expression still glued to his face. "Why are you here?" He inquired. "I am just here to tell you that I am sorry for speaking to you the way that I did" she paused as a thought flashed through her, she knows that bringing up his dead mother issue won't be nice at all so she isn't going to do that. "Is that all?" Grey cut through her though, his eyes were stiff as Ice. Slowly, Prisca looked into his eyes and she quickly regretted it, "Yes it is" she responded calmly feeling so sick in her stomach.
