Ambassador of Peace 2

That day, he got a call from Sir Relish, and without resentment, he picked at once and spoke,
“Hello, Sir Relish. I am pleased to hear from you.”
Now, Sir Relish, who seemed to be looking for where to vent his anger, did not bother with his cheerful greeting, rather, he attacked him, “Arthur, I am disappointed in you. After your brother ruined my daughter's life, you had the guts to attend the marriage ceremony of her fiancé and another woman. How could you?”
Now, Arthur, who thought that he had kept all his enemies where they belonged, looked at his phone to be sure that it was really Sir Relish, who was speaking. When he was through, he inquired, “Are you truly speaking to me, Sir Relish?”
“Of course, why are you so disrespectful, Arthur? Imagine sending a random invitation to me. Who do you think you are? Williams would have respectfully come to my house with an invitation card to invite me to the event….”
(Cut)
'Must I be Williams?' He murmured. When he understood where he was going, he angrily cut the call on him, which was another dagger on the heart of Sir Relish and an insult to his reputation. Now, he picked his car keys, stood up abruptly and walked to the door.
At Sir Relish's Apartment.
His wife, who was by his side when Arthur cut the call on him, felt his pains. She knew that he was only battling to save the little reputation he had. Then she looked at him and advised, “Take it easy with your friends. It was not their faults. Oh! Whitney, why?”
“He cut call on me. Arthur, you dare to cut call on me,” the disgruntled Sir Relish asked. After about fifteen minutes, the Security guard announced.
“Sir, Mr. Bailey is at the gate.”
Now, the spineless Sir Relish was fretful. He looked at his wife and noticed that she was scared too.
'What does he want?’ He thought before he put himself together and instructed, “Ask him in.”
Mr. Bailey drove in and parked carelessly in his vestibule, left his ignition on and got out of his car. He walked into the house, ignoring his wife, and asked, “Relish, can you repeat what you just said over the phone?”
Now, Lady Relish understood from the way he addressed her husband that he was out for a fight because her husband really got on his nerves. Then she cheerfully greeted, “You are welcome, Arthur. Kindly have your seat.”
Howbeit, Arthur ignored her and began to rant, “Aren’t you grateful that I gave you the privilege of not being arrested along with your daughter? Your daughter collaborated with my brother to assassinate me, and you did not deem it fit to apologize. I still gave you the honor of inviting you to my grandson's event, you shamelessly refused to honor the invitation.”
“Arthur, take it easy. We can talk it over, Lady Relish pleaded”
Now, Arthur, who was standing tall, with his full height in the middle of Sir Relish's parlor continued while Sir Relish looked on with defeat written on his face.
“Who are you, Relish to tell me whose wedding to attend or not. Do you want me to dishonor my friends because of you? Impossible. Anyway, you will hear from me.”
“Arthur,” Sir Relish called out when Arthur stormed out of the house. Before now, he was not seeing his silence as an honor to him. However, he learned his lessons after he had been dishonored. Arthur ignored his call, got into his car and drove off. Leaving Sir Relish and the wife, who were standing on the veranda, gob smacked. Meanwhile, the Security guard, who saw his manner of driving, threw the gates apart at once and fled.
“What are we going to do?” Sir Relish asked his wife, who was embittered. Then she yelled, “I can't take it anymore. You lack courtesy in talking to people. I will be overjoyed if he returns with the police to pick you.”
“My Lady, please. Let's think of a way forward.”
“I am tired of being your thinking cap. In one fell swoop, you have attacked Arthur, Sir Taylor and Hon. David. What if Arthur decides to inform them of what you just said about them?"
She hastily walked upstairs, and her husband stood beneath the staircase and pondered over all that his wife just said, and discovered that he goofed. He ran his hand through his head, which had no hair in the middle, and began to climb the staircase to meet his wife in the bedroom. To his chagrin, he met her at the door.
She was dressed up and holding her purse. Sir Relish, who was astonished to see his wife dressed up within such a short time, asked, “Where are you going, My Lady?”
She ignored him and walked on. Now, he was losing it all, so he pleaded in anguish, “My Lady, please. Don't walk out on me now that the world is collapsing on me.”
Meanwhile, he was holding his wife's hand, trying to stop her from leaving the room, but she pulled her hand off his and walked on. Then, she flared up, “I am tired. I need a break. It is only you and your daughter who are always right. Every other person is wrong.”
Sir Relish, who had reached the end of the road, forgot that he was a Senior Knight and ran after his wife. He met her at the staircase, knelt down before her and pleaded, “My Lady, just give me this last chance, please. I need you more at this critical period.”
To his wife's amazement, that was the first time he was admitting that he was mistaken since she met him thirty-five years ago. Then he continued, “Let us see how we can stop Arthur from handing me over to the police. Please.”
When his wife saw his wet eyes, she began to mellow. Likewise, she helped him to get up, and they walked back to the room.
“You have to calm down. Let me call Nichole. She may speak to him, on our behalf,” she admonished, and they sat on the couch. Sir Relish, who was sulky, rested his head on her chest while she gave Nichole a call. When she picked, she greeted, “Hello, Lady Relish. Good to hear from you.”
“Hello, Nichole. Good to hear from you too, but there is a problem,” she informed with fear in her voice.
