Father, I am Dying.

“Where did he keep his phone?” He muttered. Although, he was aware that he could always get through to him through Cassandra, but he was conscious of that. He would not want to present his son as one who would not pick his call whenever he wished to, so, he decided to give him some time, and he focused on his job.
At the Government Hospital.
After the video of Lorene and Zoey went viral, the Kent Hospitals Management Board summoned Dr. Marcus Caesar for a briefing. When he got to the Board's Headquarters, he met an aggrieved Board Chairman, Dr. Abba and the Board Members who believed that he should not have allowed the video to be made public. He kept mute and allowed them to berate him to their satisfaction. Thereafter, he set out to defend himself, “With due respect, Chairman, I don't know how the woman got the video because I am aware that the nurse does not have a camera in her office.”
With his lodgment, the Chairman of the Board and his members were perplexed.
“What do you mean, Dr. Caesar? If she does not have a camera in her office, how did she get the video of the fight in her office?” Dr. Abba, who believed that he was not being honest, asked.
“From what I gathered, Chairman, the video was posted and promoted on the internet by her children, who I presumed have their means of keeping watch over their mother. Besides, the children are not in the medical fields for that, I don't think we can hold them accountable for making the video go viral.”
After heated arguments among the members, Dr. Marcus Caesar was freed from all allegations, and the Board focused on the issue of security in the workplace. After much deliberation, they came to a consensus that such a security gadget should be set up at all the hospitals in Kent. Meanwhile, Dr. Abba had a problem with that. He wanted an alumnus from his Alumni Association to handle the project, but the house was divided. Some members wished that the particular device that Nichole's children used in keeping track of her should be installed at the hospitals. At the end of the day, the Chairman had more votes than those who wished to have Nichole's kind of camera. After the meeting, he contacted Arthur requesting for a proposal.
At the Bailey International Conglomerates Headquarters
After Arthur gave Louis calls, and he did not pick, he continued with responding to Dr. Abba's message which he was not concentrating on. Then, he picked up his phone and discovered that he gave him a call fifty minutes ago and decided to try again. When he got through, he waited patiently, but just like the previous calls, he did not pick. Now, he had no choice but to give his secretary a call. Before she picked, he put himself together to avoid appearing desperate.
“Good day, Chairman. How may I help you?”
“Oh! It's you, Cassandra. I dialed your number in error. Kindly give your boss the phone. I would love to speak with him.”
“I am sorry, Chairman. He is not on his desk.”
“I see. When did he leave the office?”
“It is all right.”
Now, Arthur felt that the hairs on his head were flying and that his heart was in a fifty-meter race. He threw caution to the wind and gave Dr. Quain a call. When the doctor did not pick at once, he thought.
'Good, they may be together.'
Suddenly, he picked, and Arthur was elated.
“Hello, Chairman. How may I help you?” Dr. Quain greeted.
“Hello, Dr. Quain. Is Louis with you?”
Now, Dr. Quain was not aware that he had given his boss a call otherwise, he would have coded his response.
“No, Chairman. He should be in his office,” he pointed out with ease, but the Chairman had shocking news for him.
“He is not in his office. I called the secretary, and she said he left the office about an hour ago.”
Now, Dr. Quain was overwhelmed when he heard that, he left his office an hour ago.
“I was with him about an hour ago. Let me call you back, Chairman.”
“It's OK, doctor.”
Dr. Quain could not believe what he heard from the Chairman. He had always had his eyes on him, and the feelings he had that morning about him led to his visit to his office.
“Where could he have gone to without informing me?”
Now, it occurred to the doctor that one of his domestic staff members gave him a call the day they rushed him to the clinic after he slumped out of acute stress. Then he browsed through his phone, and when he got the number, he dialed with anxiety written all over him.
“Hello, doctor,” came the response when the staff picked.
“Hello dear. Please confirm that your boss is at home.”
“Not at all, doctor.”
“It is OK. Thank you.”
Meanwhile, he just recalled that he had not even tried Louis's line, so he decided to do that. After he dialed his number, and it rang, he waited patiently for him to pick, but he did not.
“Where on earth could he be?” He murmured. Then, he gave the Chairman, who was restlessly waiting, for a call, and he picked the call at once. To buy time, the doctor informed him of what he would love to hear, “I will go to his house and look out for him.”
“I will be grateful if you do that.”
(Cut)
The Chairman, who was already leaving the office to pick his wife from work and close for the day, cut the call and gave Phil a call, and he picked at once, “Good day, father. How may I help you?”
“Good day, Phil. I feel you should know. Louis had not been in his office for the past one hour, nobody knew his whereabouts, and he had not picked his calls.”
“This is serious. Father, pull yourself together. I will get him.”
“It is all right. I am going to pick your mother from work and close for the day.”
“It is okay, father. I will keep you informed of any development.”
“It is all right.”
