As time progressed, the number of individuals continued to grow. I am having difficulty finding my friends because of the large number of people.
On my left side, there was a bunch of young women ordering tequila. The one girl with hanging earrings is giggling because a guy has approached her.
Long-haired, with a sharp nose, and clad in long sleeves. It emphasized his muscles because it was a little too tight.
Her friends were laughing and taunting them since the guy was attempting to get the girl's phone number.
I couldn't handle the boredom any longer, so I ordered a shot of tequila. I drank it as soon as it was served to me. As the shot reached my tongue and attacked my tastebuds, I could taste the horrible, bitter flavor.
My face became distorted because of the powerful flavor.
I had only now noticed that I was already in the middle of the dancefloor, moving my hips to the beat of the party music. I'm not sure how many shots of tequila I ordered, but the only thing I remember is that I'm already numb from the agony T. H gave me.
I felt a firm calloused hand grab my arms and stop me in my tracks. Softness characterizes its touch. However, I didn't care for the way he touched me.
He held me again, but this time dragged me closer to him.
"Who are you with?" He said in a firm baritone voice.
I couldn't help but beam a smile at him after seeing his furrowed brows and sharply defined jaw under the party lights.
"Then, how about you, then? When are you going to clarify your relationship with Rosella? Or do you even intend to explain it?"
He just looked at me with a serious expression. I noticed how his adam apple moved whenhe swallowed. I stood there for a few minutes, but he said nothing.
"It's fine. I had already predicted that you would remain silent."
The tears that I had been trying to hold back betrayed me. My tears streamed down my cheeks unhindered.
"You again? What a small world we live in?" I was taken aback for a brief moment when a girl in a crop top and ripped shorts appeared in front of me. She embraced T. H. and smirked at me.
She delicately touched T. H's cheek, "Is she causing you any trouble, T. H.? Wanwan said that this woman is simply your friend. Is that correct?" She said in a squeaky tone.
T. H. can't look me in the eyes directly. He cradled Rosella's arms in his arms.
"Let's go," he said coldly, but Rosella was unconvinced.
"No, we can't go. I'm having a good time at the party right now. I believe Kaoree and I would be good friends, don't you?"
My brows immediately rose in response. If you so desire.
She only became beautiful because she is wealthy. If it turns out that she is poor, I'm confident that she will not be able to afford skincare products. She has a high opinion of herself.
But there's one more thing that's really hurting me….
I don't want to think about it.
I left because they were arguing about something. I couldn't care less about them. Today, I'll drink and make sure I'm having a good time.
I couldn't keep track of how many glasses I consumed because I was dizzy and my world seemed to be spinning.
I took a few steps back and looked around me. I noticed Melissa getting closer to me. It's a good thing she's here.
"Melissa let's. Please come with me."
"Where?"
"Let's just go!" I snatched her and walked over to where T. H. and Rosella were sitting with their other friends.
My intentions are crystal clear, even though my vision is blurry and I can't see them clearly right now.
"What are you going to do?" I was trying to get away from Melissa when she attempted to stop me.
"Stay where you are. I need you. Just… stay there."
Inhaling deeply, she nevertheless remained anxious about what I would do next. "Okay. Just make sure you don't do anything stupid or harmful, okay?"
I cracked a smirk.
"Thaddeus Manzriel?!" His eyes widened as I shouted. To my surprise, he approached me.
"Tell me if you genuinely care about me. Tell me right now! You're a jerk! What were you thinking when you flirted with me?! Leave me dangling in the middle of nowhere? Huh? You can't even take responsibility for your actions!"
I noticed Melissa walking closer to me in my peripheral vision. But it didn't bother me at all. I turned to face T. H and looked at him with a searing rage in my eyes. I grabbed the collar of his shirt.
"What am I, your past time? You are a jerk! You know you have a girlfriend, yet you flirted with me, asshole! You flirt!" My tears started to fall because of the anguish I was feeling in my heart, especially when he hugged me while I was punching him on his chest.
"Asshole! Don't hug me!" I cried out.

I'm completely oblivious. What was I thinking when I allowed this to happen? Why didn't I inquire first as to if he is interested in me? If he's in love with me? I had just guessed something out of nowhere. Kaoree, you are a naive.
That's all right, Kaoree. Beautiful women are frequently naive.
But no! This is causing me a lot of shame!
I observed Rosella and her friends whispering to each other as they looked at me disgustingly.
She rose to her feet and clapped slowly, "You're such a disappointment! Do you honestly believe that my partner will be interested in someone as foolish as you? We're not even on the same level, so how did the notion that he would be interested in you even enter your mind?"
I was surrounded by a cacophony of laughter. Some of them are even filming what is going on.
"Oh, so T. H. is a fan of working-class girls like you? You do have a valid point about why he is attracted to you."
I nodded, seeming to agree with what she was saying. The audience applauded and cheered for me.
"You should be held accountable for your words!" Her brows knitted together in irritation.
She grasped the end of my hair, and I fought back. We ended up yanking on each other.
I clenched her hair in my fists out of frustration. I can feel the pain in my scalp because she is holding my hair tightly.
We came to a complete halt when Marcus and Wyn entered the picture. They both held me in their arms, while T. H. held Rosella. They were able to calm us down and put some distance between us.
I was dizzy and felt like puking, so I tightened my grip on Wyn's hand and bent my head a little.
"Kaoree, how are you doing?" He asked while he was helping me with my hair.
Marcus, who was standing next to me previously, is already talking with Melissa. You can see the frustration in his face while scratching his head.
"Kaoree!" Wyn yelled as soon as I threw up on the floor.
I smiled. I'm curious as to how I look at the moment. I'm certain that I'm a disgusting person.
"Sorry."
"Wyn, I can take care of her," T. H., who appeared out of nowhere, said.
He was about to grab my arms, but Wyn immediately smacked it.
Wyn's sudden move caused my lips to part. They were both serious and staring each other in the eyes with piercing stares.
"I know how to look after myself."
I tried to take a step and walk, but it wasn't a good idea because my world spun and I lost my balance.
"Kaoree, let me carry you."
When Wyn said that, I hesitated, but I had no choice but to allow him to do what he wanted.
I closed my eyes as I felt my back slowly sag against the soft matress of the bed. I couldn't open my eyes because not only was my body exhausted, but so were my eyes.
He placed the comforter above me and tucked the strands of my hair behind my ears, which was covering my face.
I yawned and squeezed myself between the pillows, feeling relaxed. My entire being was drowsy.
"If he can't take care of you, I will be the one to do so." That was the last thing I heard before I heard the door open and close, indicating that he had left.
I'm not sure if that's a dream or just an illusion.
