Eryna pushed Hunter against the wall and she closed the door of the stair room behind her.
“Explain!” Eryna asked in a serious tone as she looked up at his face because he was very tall, her hand was on the wall trapping Hunter inside it,
Hunter breathed in deeply and pulled her by her waist and pushed her against the wall and looked down at Eryna.
“You explain first! How did you turn into Renya after coming back to the country?” He asked,
“It’s a long story,” Eryna’s face formed into a frown and she loosened her stiff body, all her guards were down as she stared at Hunter.
“I have time,” Hunter retreated.
Eryna walked towards the stairs and sat on it, she breathed in deeply.
“You know that I have a twin sister, Right?” Eryna asked with doubt.
“N-no, you never told me that,” he was surprised as he sat beside her.
“Sigh! I- I kind of,” Eryna was having a hard time telling him that she had married. She thought Hunter would feel like she had cheated on Simba by marrying. Hunter and Simba were cousins and they were really close together, so Eryna couldn’t bring herself to tell him what she had done. She didn’t want him to misunderstand because in Eryna’s heart Simba was still the only one.
“Is it something bad?” Hunter spoke in a calm voice, he saw the desperate look on Eryna’s face.
“I got married!! I married Micah, I guy you just met.” Eryna blurred out while quickly putting her hands on her eyes to avoid seeing the reaction.
There was no response for a few seconds but then Eryna heard Hunter's voice, it was filled with surprise.
“Hah! Are you serious? Did- did you really?” His voice had an odd sadness in it, Eryna peeked at him, his face had a sad look on it but he turned around and gave her a faint smile.
“I am glad you moved on in life,” he replied.
“No! It’s not like that, I just married him because my sister was in a bad situation. It’s just a temporary arrangement, I will soon be out of this!!” Eryna became defensive.
Hunter stared at her for a few seconds before pulling her into a tight hug.
“You gave me a heart attack a while ago!” He locked her into his tight embrace while rubbing her head, he sighed out in relief.
“You are choking me! Let me go!” Eryna lightly punched him on the back for him to loosen the grip,
“Hah! I am sorry, “ Hunter pulled himself back and patted her head.
“And why are you here? I mean how do you know Micah?” Eryna asked.
“It’s because of you!” Hunter casually replied.
“Me? Why because of me?” Eryna was confused.
“Didn’t you say you wanted to sign the contract with the most suitable company? So I signed it with them,” Hunter replied.
“The? What? You did what?!” Eryan suddenly stood up in horror,
“Come on! It’s not that serious,” Hunter replied.
“How is that not serious? What if they find out I am not Renya? That would be a disaster!” Eryna’s face showed clear signs of worry.
“Is it that serious?” Hunter asked with a worried tone.
“Once my father finds out about this, he would do something horrible for sure, and we won’t be able to handle it,” Eryna paced around with her hand on her forehead.
“Don’t worry that much, it’s not like anyone knows you by face. I mean you have already been away from the eyes of the crowd so I am sure we can figure something out,” Hunter calmed her down.
“Sigh! But what can we do?” Eryna asked.
“We will figure something out, and above all I have already made it clear to That guy (Micah) that our designer doesn’t want to be seen, it was odd for him at first but he agreed.” Hunter added.
“I hope it ends well, I wouldn’t have agreed if I knew you were signing the contract with them.”
“Don’t worry, like you said the marriage is temporary, so why ruin your life plans because of something temporary?” Hunter made a point that made Eryna ponder.
“That makes sense,” Eryna mumbled.
She sat back in the stair, There was a complete silence and Hunter spoke again.
“There is going to be a grand party in a few weeks to celebrate our collaboration,” Hunter mumbled under his breath.
“Hah! So what are the requirements of the other party?” Eryna asked.
“Nothing much, they are thinking of launching your latest designs on the occasion. It’s gonna boost the sales, good for us,” Hunter replied.
“That sounds like we'll be making a lot of money,”
“That’s a sure thing,” Hunter glanced at Eryna with a smirking face.
“And where are the sample jewellery? You didn’t send them to me,” Eryna asked about an entirely different thing.
“I brought them with me, will send it to you once I am free, and let me tell you this time I will take forty percent, not a penny less,” Hunter spoke in a business like tone.
“Yeah sure, have your fourth percent,” Eryna brushed her front hair and responded.
Hunter pulled out his phone from his pocket and pressed the screen a few times before taking it to his ear.
“Whom are you calling?” Eryna asked.
“My son!” Hunter grinned, “ I am going to tell him that his Daddy is back,”
Hunter chuckled and waited for Simba to pick up. Hunter had become his legal guardian after Eryna adopted him. Little Simba considered him as his father but Hunter would tell him that he was his Father no two,his real father was Simba Garcia, who would have loved him if he was alive. All of them were unrelated to each other but they grew so much closer when they lost their precious one and found comfort in each other’s company, the day Simba died, Hunter lost his only brother, Eryna lost her husband and Little Simba lost his Mother, so unknowingly they become each other's support and walked through the difficult times together.
