“Why are you attacking the security guard? He is only doing his job?”
“Besides, parents are not allowed into the school premises. The students will have to come and meet us here with their luggage.”
“Yes. That is the norm here.”
“Are you new here?”
As expected, the two bodyguards, ignored the parents’ complaints and continued with the harassment of the security guard. Now, Ahmed, who had not said a word, was already fuming with anger. He stood up, but the other parents did not look in his direction because he did not look significant. They do not expect him to even contribute to their discussions. Then, he walked briskly to the Jeep, which was parked with the engine still on, and opened the back door. Then, he yanked out the boss from his air-conditioned car, and dragged him to the two men, who did not notice what happened because their attention was on the security guard. They were surprised to see their boss suddenly beside them. The boss, who did not even have the opportunity to resist, was as surprised as his bodyguards and the parents. How he got off his car and got to the gate was still a mystery he will never forget in his life.
“Control your dogs,” Ahmed yelled as he shoved him to one of the bodyguards.
As soon as Ahmed loosened his grip on him, he became stronger. By his calculation, he believed that the three of them could overpower Ahmed. Right when he heard Ahmed mention dog, he yelled.
“Who did you call dogs?” Ahmed yelled back, “I say tether your dogs.”
Now, the infamous boss charged at Ahmed, who grabbed his hand with his left hand and twisted it backwards by one hundred and eighty degrees. Then, just like a flash, the boss was on the floor and his white flowing gown covered his face. Subsequently, his two boys attacked Ahmed at once and to their surprise, he knocked their heads together, and they fell to the ground simultaneously.
Now, the boss, who believed that one person would not over power him and his bodyguards, yelled.
“It can't be,” then, he got off the floor and charged at Ahmed as he yelled, “All of you get up.”
At once, he was on Ahmed, and he jerked him up and threw him towards his boys, who were attempting to get up. Then, he landed on them, and they fell back to the floor. Now, Ahmed went after them, and slapped them one after the other before he yelled.
“All of you should kneel and raise your hands if you don't wish to be moved out of here as corpses.”
Nevertheless, the effect of the slap was much that their faces were swollen at once, and a little blood was on the mouth of the boss and on the nose of one of his boys. They obediently knelt down and raised their hands.
“Since your primary school teacher did not teach you orderliness, I will help you. You will be like this until your children come and meet you.”
He turned to the driver who was still in the car and commanded, “Take this carton out of here. The students need this space.”
Now, before Ahmed could complete his sentence, the driver had turned on the ignition of his car and drove away. Then, he returned to his tree branch and sat calmly as though nothing happened. In less than six minutes, he had subdued the three hooligans.
Now, the other parents who witnessed the drama were too frightened to laugh, and could not even look at Ahmed on the face too, but wondered to themselves.
'How could this lanky man be this strong?'
'Who could he be?'
'I will wait and see his children.'
Now, the school had released the students and the parents saw them coming towards the gate. Then, he sighted Frank and Francisca coming towards the gate with their luggage, and he stood up from the tree branch to meet them. As he walked, the other parents that were about crowding at the gate gave way and maintained a reasonable distance. As soon as Frank and Francisca saw him, they ran to him and gave him a hug.
“Mr. Nura, you're here?”
“Good morning, Mr. Nura.”
“How are you? And how is school?”
“We are fine and school is fine.”
The excited youngsters responded.
“That is good. Get your luggage, and let us leave.”
“Okay, Mr. Ahmed.”
They concentrated on their luggage, which diverted their attention from the adults under Ahmed's punishment. Just behind them, Mr. Ahmed's orderly who was dressed in his military uniform was waiting. He collected their trolley bags and dragged them along. Ahmed held the two of them by the hands and left before the people around began to comment.
“Oh! He is a military officer.”
“No wonder.”
“His children are cute.”
“I wish he would be around all the time.”
Now, the three men under his punishment due to 'adult delinquency' were confused because he had not released them.
'Should we release ourselves or not?' They thought. When Ahmed was out of sight, they took the initiative to unshackle themselves. As soon as they got up, the boss tried to redeem his reputation by releasing his boys too.
“All of you get up.” He ordered, and his bodyguards obeyed. Then, he continued to brag.
“I will deal with him. This fight will not end here. I know where to get him.”
The parents scrunched up their noses in mockery, while some mumbled.
“When the cat is out, the rat becomes the head of the house.”
In Ahmed's car.
“Boss.”
“Yes.”
“You have not released those offenders.”
“Oh!” Ahmed exclaimed, and exited the car immediately and walked back to the gate. Nevertheless, the three miscreants who were oblivious to his return were threatening to deal with him. Likewise, they were facing the gate while backing him, and the parents who saw him coming were emphatic. They shifted away from them for obvious reasons; to avoid stray slaps. Suddenly, the two bodyguards looked back and saw Ahmed coming, and they fell to their knees at once. Unfortunately, the boss, who was engrossed in his threats, was taken unawares.
“I know where to get him. I will deal mercilessly with him.”
