Chapter 17

"Okay then" she accepted it knowing there is no point arguing. "Why sis you let Clary hate your sister so much?"
He sighed. "Tried all my best but he won't just let them in".
"Then you should have let your sister know about the boy's feelings" she sounded scolding.
"I did but she do say it's over pampering".
"I agree that you over pamper him but Clary is a sweet kid with a good heart. Him crying not going simply connote that they do hurt him pretty bad" she said with a pitiful look.
Larry nodded. "Yeah I know but what will I do?" He asked blankly.

On getting home, she met Juan. This time Tyndall remembered to offer him a drink.
"Oh sweet, you are around" she said hugging him.
"Yeah thought I should drop by to know what the emergency is all about" he replied.
Clary moved forward. "Hi I'm Clary and you must be aunty Ria's friend because I can't remember her mentioning having a brother" he said boldly.
Juan took the little hand he offered looking at Somaria who wore a smile.
"Hi I'm Juan and you are right. I'm a friend of the family" he smiled at him.
"Juan" he called. "That's not English".
"Whoa! What a brill" he laughed.
Tyndall walked in and saw Somaria. She didn't even noticed Clary who was speaking with Juan.
"Hey! Where have you been?" She queried.
"Got an emergency" she replied.
"You should have at least prepared something. You know I would have gotten so tired because of some sort of wicked boss that I've just got that is determined to use all my flesh and blood until it wanes" she said rudely.
All her words were directed to Juan. She looked at him. It was then she realised Somaria brought Clary.
Juan was really mean to her today. When he appeared at her company that afternoon, he sent for her immediately. The truth be told, he never need her for anything but he has plans to teach her a lesson all through his stay.
When she arrived, he scrutinized her from hair to toe and he smiled.
"Always looking" she grumbled.
He sent her to go fetch him a file. After she came he sent her another. This went on for some minutes and it got to a point Tyndall had to voice out.
She was fed up and tired of roaming about the company. Even her colleagues asked her why she was perambulating.
"Can you please tell me the numbers of file you need to get and I'll get them all at once, instead of me just roaming about" she grunched.
"I can't tell the next file until I see the previous" he replied bossily plain without looking at her. "Get me the file for room 58" he ordered.
Tyndall kept on going back and forth that her legs began to ache seriously but she didn't want to look like a weakling to Juan. It got to a stage that the pains on her legs begin to shout. She could not almost move again. She then let down her pride, made use of her senses before she damage her legs. She went to her office, got her slippers and wore it.
When she got back to Juan, he realised that he didn't hear the sound of her shoes and that directed his eyes to her feet. Then he was she changed shoes. He smiled inwards knowing fully well that her leg aches. He felt guilty but he waved it off.
"You shouldn't have bothered to change your shoes. That's the last file you'll fetch" he said with a dry voice.
Tyndall felt like to hit him hard but ended eyeing him. "Does that !ran I can take my leave now?" She asked rudely.
Juan looked at her and saw how stressed she is. "Yes but after you return this files to their appropriate position" he ordered.
Tyndall without saying a word packed the files. She couldn't take them all at once so she just took the ones she could and left. By the time she returned to pack the rest, Juan was already leaving.
Had it been it was the normal cool Juan, he would have helped her but he didn't want her to think he is trying to seek favor so he just walked pass her.
The main reason for his coming was just to sign a file that won't take him less than twenty minutes before he devices that his wicked act.
Few minutes after Tyndall got home Juan showed up.
"Is Ria back?"
She gave him a malevolent look. "Haven't I told you that whenever you are coming do yourself the help of calling her so that you won't come here to ask me silly questions" she said under smothered anger.
She knew what he sis to her today was deliberate, knowing she has no choice since he is the boss.
Instead of Juan's normal sheepish look, he gave her a mocking look with a smirk on his lips. Tyndall was vexed that he is now getting so bold that she is the one getting affected her not him.
She marched inside angrily and came back with a drink. She placed it on a stool beside him and instead of Juan's normal shying thank you she was expecting, he said;
"Hope you've not poisoned it because I don't trust that look of yours?"
Tyndall closed her eyes, breathes in and out roughly to show her anger. She folded her hand into a punch wishing it could land on his face. She glared at him instead and left.
