Something might be binding them. They could not just sit and transfer look. Both went into silence. He stood up strolled around and walked closer to Uka. The setting was no longer safe and comfortable, especially for a security leaking African nation. Anyone could be kidnapped, robbed or assassinate in a broad daylight. “Uka” he called “you looked well anyway. You have made for yourself a happy life”. “Anyway, am well. Thank you. Who are you please? I was disturbed over your being around me face covered and head capped. I take you to be a security man or what? I don’t know any way you may not be. You do not look like one”. “Anyway, Uka if you should know. I am Pius. We were once brothers. I don’t know for now. If you think we are, you would have shown that long ago”. That news was a shock to him. He looked at his brother again. He was badly kept that he wondered why. He made a quick mental calculation, looked at his face with all modesty and calculation. In a flash of memory, he stood and called out his name loudly and moved closer for a hug and he backed him. Disappointed and sluggishly he sat down and gestured him to sit down. “Hold it for now, it's no time for that” he said and smiled covering his mouth with his hand. He had learned all the tricks. He could make one look stupid and old. He wanted his brother to be laughed at and to make himself look gentle in the eyes of others. “Why?” he asked and sat down reluctantly. “Do you mean to tell me that you have been lying pretty low lately. Thanks?” “Who told you am in the state? Is good seeing you again. I have looked for you everywhere. I hope you have settled down for good?” Those questions do not seem interesting to him at all and he did not answer them. He was silent watching his body movement and gestures. “Don’t be an extravagant talker. How could I have been, as you said laid-low when your mother’s lover, who you know fully well as his fiancé before your departure took the life of my dear father and want me under his roof with my own mother? Oh! That would not be possible. Never. Even in a thousand years' time” “Don’t be sarcastic P. We just met. Let’s behave like people in twenty-first century. You should show some level of civility. Why to this level? Education and traveling makes one advanced. I expected some civility in you, but you have not exhibited it. Let’s talk reasonably” . He said and lowered himself. “I honestly don’t want to see you wreck your future, merely because you are feeling restless about him. Don’t be too worried. Don’t be too worried my brother. Such things had been laid low since your absence in the country. Anyway welcome back?” “So”? Uka asked. “Be careful and ask reasonable questions. Look at the parking lot the green Pedro Jeep is mine. We are going home now from here”. “ It is really sad that when you few years across thirty, you still behave like a fool. I think that it is right time for you to open your mind to think fast like a learned man you claimed to be. Whose house are you going back to? Or are we going back to? The one your stepfather took from us. You are learned. Honestly, I don’t think you are. If at all you learn a bit of anything, you must know that somebody is using your money to feed you and force you to say thank you in return”. He stood up from his seat infuriated. “Does it matter whose money it is? Listen good Pius, it is merely a craze for adventure that is driving you into this wild behavior that I can equally term a temporary madness. My advice for you is to keep out of it. You lack modern exposure. I believe that basic education can plant some little sense in you “he said smiling. “To hell with your advice. I pity you and your advice. You too to be mindful of what you say. I mean my advice to you”. He said and stood in earnest. This was harsh. At least, a courtesy. He lacked all manner of consideration. No reason for this.
