I stepped out from the bathroom and slowly walked around the guest room, admiring every bit of the interior in it. It really looks appealing.
I got to where the shopping bag was lying on the bed, and I couldn't help the little smile that found its way across my face.
That jackass…
What was his name again?
Jason! Yes, Jason.
I heard that from one of his employees.
He might be a jerk,
But I think he really has a great sense of fashion.
We just arrived from the biggest shopping mall in the City, and without asking if I liked them or not, he picked the dress, shoes, clutch and even jewelry. He picked everything for me by himself, all I did was to watch him.
I brought out all the content from the shopping bag and smiled broadly again. I've never seen such a beautiful dress like this before.
The red gown fits me perfectly as it helps to reveal my curves. I twisted my lips as I scrutinized myself in the dressing mirror. Some part of my cleavages could be seen. I was trying to adjust the dress when a knock suddenly came on the door. “Can we come in, ma'am,” I heard from outside, and I looked at the door. Huh?
I walked up to the door and twisted the doorknob opened, revealing two beautiful women. Who are they?
“How may I help you?” I asked the two women, probably in their late thirties. “We are sent here by Mr. Jason, he instructed us to help you with your makeup” The first woman replied with a friendly smile and I scoffed softly.
“That won't be necessary because I don't do makeup,” I told them flatly, and they both smiled. “Don't worry, ma'am, you are going to love it. Besides, Mr. Jason wouldn't be pleased with us if we didn't carry out his job,” The second woman replied, and I drew in a long breath. “Fine” I groaned and paved the way for them to enter.
They were done with the make in a short while. “You look stunning” The second woman complimented for the up tenth time and I just smile.
The makeup was really light but beautiful.
I loved it!
I couldn't help but steal glances at myself in the mirror.
“Thank you,” I told the women as they arrange their tools.
“Enjoy your night, ma'am” They chorused with a light bow and turned to leave.
“Wow!” Jason exclaimed immediately he spots me stepping out from his mansion.
I strode slowly to where he was standing with his hand tucked in his trouser pocket.
The black tuxedo looks great on him, I must confess.
Handsome jerk.
“No one would believe you are a maid, you know?” He said with a soft chuckle, and I rolled my eyes.
“Come on, let's go,”
I trialed behind him as we headed to the parking lot.
We both stepped into the car and the driver took off immediately.
While the car drives, Jackass kept stealing some glances at me, and my anxiety grew. What's his problem?
I looked out from the window and silently prayed we arrived at the event already.
We finally arrived at our destination, and I couldn't help but exhaled loudly in deep relief. Thank goodness.
There were so many cars, and it took the driver some minutes before he finally found a suitable place to park the car.
We alighted from the car and a 'wow' escaped from my mouth. Everywhere looks exquisite.
I kept averting my gaze everywhere as I slowly walk behind Jackass, and I almost cried.
It looks so beautiful.
I sat next to Jackass in the VIP section, sipping at my fruit wine slowly. The MC kept entertaining the audience, the audience cheers and laughed to his jokes.
Rodney should come on stage already, I screamed inwardly.
“Now, let's welcome the great singer, country's favorite, city sweetheart, ladies love, guys crush”
The MC emphasized and a thrill of alarm ran through me upon hearing that.
“Let's welcome Rodney Shaw with a round of applause!” He exclaimed with a wide smile and the whole audience cheered with applaud.
Rodney climbed the stage afterwards, beaming with smiles. He was clad in a Red shirt that brought out his bulging bicep, together with a black trouser and a black suede shoes.
The MC handed the Microphone to him, they both shared a short hug before the MC slowly climbed down from the stage.
“Hey lovers” He says into the mic with smiles and the crowd screamed happily.
“I wanna use this privilege to appreciate your love and great affections towards me,” He began solemnly, after the scream has subsided.
“Thank you so much for the love, much love from here likewise” He added, and the audience cheered again.
“Tonight, I would like to sing from one of my album which I titled- I MISS YOU” He says with smile in his face and the crowd agreed with a Yes! Yes! Yes!
And after a while, a playing came from the piano, and he started singing.
I watched keenly from where I was sitting, singing along with him. Jason gaze was on me all those while,, but I didn't spare him a glance.
Whatever.
The song finally ended and I felt sad immediately.
The whole audience shrieked happily, and I couldn't help the ecstasy- I also stood on my feet, cheering with others.
Jackass kept shooting me daggers with his looks, but I ignored him completely.
“Thank you so much” He blew a kiss to the audience and I felt my cheeks heat up.
Shortly, I excused myself, so I could make use of the restroom. It took just a little effort to locate where it was. And after I was done doing my business, I stepped out from the restroom and bumped into someone, causing me to tripped on my feet. Jeez!
I was expecting myself to be kissing the bare floor at that moment, but instead, someone was holding my waist and my hands were lying freely on the person's chest.

thank goodness.
I heaved a sigh of relief and then opened my eyes to thank my savior. But then, BOOM. I felt my whole body trembled immediately as his dark eyes pierced into mine. Oh, my… I was staring at those beautiful eyes, that perfect nostril and that killer strawberry lips.
He also watches my face like his life depended on it.
And I felt my heart beating like a party drum. “Clumsy girl” I heard him mumbled, and I gulped down slowly before averting my eyes somewhere else.
What was that?
Did he by chance recognized me?
