I Can't Take This

Tamara POV
The sun glinted on the window and shines to my face. I slowly sat up and leaned my back against the headboard,
I yawned loudly while flipping my hair to my shoulder. I don't even know how long I slept.
A big smile spread on my face as the previous day memory flashes through my mind.
My celebrity crush-my lifesaver!
Aww- two in one.
I slowly crawled out of the bed and headed for the closet, gleefully. I brought out all the dresses, grinning from ear to ear. Rodney is just too sweet.
One of his maid had brought them to my room last night. My cheeks flamed up when she told me Rodney had bought them for me.
I love you, Rodney!
I will have to try them out one after the other, I thought, still smiling big

I settled with a tank top together with a black shorts. I slide my feet into my new purple flurry slippers before sitting down on a stool, across the dressing mirror.
I was brushing my hair when a knock came on the door. “Who's it?” I asked, standing on my feet. “It's Marian, ma'am,” She replied.
“Breakfast is ready,” She added. I suppressed my lips in a tight line, to stop myself from smiling so hard. Will I ever get used to this kind of life?
I trailed my forefinger on the rail as I carefully descended the stairs.
“Good morning, ma'am” A maid greeted with a bow as I descended the last stair. “Good morning,” I replied sweetly.
“Come forward, ma'am” Another maid waved at me from the dinning room and I smiled before matching towards the room.
She was the same maid who brought the dresses to my room last night. I slowly took my seat, watching her dish my meal.
Wow…
Croissant with macron?
I am never leaving this house again!
She turned to leave after finishing her business.
“Excuse me” I say, and she turned to face me.
“Any problem, ma'am?” She asked with a concerned look. I shook my head sideways in response. “Not at all, and please just call me Tamara” I pout, and she nodded with a little smile on her lips.
“Uhm, ….have you seen Mr. Rodney this morning?” I knew I shouldn't be asking, but I couldn't help it, I haven't seen him since he left my room yesterday noon.
“I guess he's in his music room” She replied, and I nodded. Music room?
“Thank you,” I told her, and she bowed before leaving.
Everything in here marvels me, I wish someone could just take me around the whole building, I thought as I finally took my seat in the living room, after I was done with my breakfast.
Why's he not coming downstairs?
Is he trying to avoid me?
Gosh
Enough Tamara!
I only watched the characters in the movie indifferently, I had lost focus for so long.
Rodney should come down already. I'm missing him so badly. “Hope you slept well?” I suddenly heard behind me and I flinched on the couch I was sitting on.
Oh, goodness!
That came unexpected.
“Yes… Good morning, sir,” I greeted, while standing on my feet with my gaze fixed on the armrest of the couch. A silence stepped in. Dear heart, please take a hold of yourself. I mentally spoke as my heart wouldn't stop hammering against my chest. I gulped. “Thank you very much for your help, sir,” I said gratefully, but he didn't say anything. Don't be rude, Rodney.
“Have you eaten?” He asked dryly, and I nodded curtly. And with that, his footsteps retreated.
I released a big sigh immediately I lifted my head to watch his back, heading into the dinning.
I scrutinized his outfit.
He was clad in a Gray suit with a pair of black shoes, his curly hair were gell backward.
Truth been told, he's a semi-god.
Who looks so breathtaking in suit?
Definitely, my Rodney!
I've been watching movie since Rodney had left the house and now, I am being tired.
I leaned backward on my seat, continuing watching the movie with no interest.
I was so bored,
I couldn't even remember when last I had a seat with so much comfort and watch TV.
I should start seeking employment soon-I thought, scratching the back of my neck.
I heard footsteps of heels screeching the marble floor and I turned my head to look at the direction. Joanna?
Goodness!
What's she doing here?
“Hey you! Is that where you are assigned to work? You are just a maid,” She reminded, and I frowned.
What's her business?
I didn't answer her as I turned to the TV.
I could hear her footsteps coming closer, and I stood up.
She should mind her business, otherwise….
“Have you gone insane?” She yelled, but I just watched her with my arms crossed on my chest.
“What do you think…” She stopped ranting, she looked into my face like she was trying to remember it or something.
“Hold on…” She paused.
“I know you” she announced, and I smiled, mischievously. It was good to know she has
a retentive memory.
A maid was now standing very close to us.
“What are you doing here, you bitch?” She growled, but I just looked away.
I can't possibly exchange words with her, right?
Why would Rodney hang around with someone like her,, though? Eeew…
“You see, I don't know how you had succeeded in coming into this house but the next time I find you in this house, trust me I will make sure you regret the day you were brought to this earth” She threatened and stormed off immediately.
"Bitch” I muttered before slumping on the couch.
Joanna POV
I dailed his number for the umpteenth time now and it was still not going through.
Argh!
I was going crazy.
I drove like a maniac with a hand on the steering as the other hand keeps ruffling my hair.
“What's she doing in his house?” I yelled as I hit the steering angrily.
Rodney, you need to explain things to me.
I need explanations.
I can't take this!
I can't.
“I can't share him with anybody, not even that crazy blue eyes,” I say with gritted teeth as I clenched my fist hard.
