Atty. Yhera still unaware of what is going to happen even excused herself first to go to the lady's room when they arrived at the Hotel. She was surprised to see at the lady's room, two of their staff; secretaries of their Senior Partner Lawyers.
“Hmm, Lita doesn’t tell me, all our staff are here too for the treat of ADC?” she asked one of the staff. ADC pertains to their senior partner, Atty. Alejandro D. Capuyao.
The two staff looked at each other before Lita answered Atty. Yhera, “ahh yes Atty. Yhera. ADC treated us here for dinner," she said not looking into the eyes of their law firm's young female and famous lawyer and the latter might notice that she is lying.
“Oh really? Seems like ADC won a big case eh.” She smiled at the two staff then excused herself.
The two staff looked at each other and followed Atty. Yhera's walking figure. Thereafter, the two ladies giggled after seeing Atty. Yhera went inside the nearest cubicle in the lady's room.
When Atty. Yhera gets out of the cubicle, the two staff were not around anymore. She just shrugged her shoulders and retouched her lipstick and blush on.
As she went out of the comfort room, a hotel front liner greeted her and even mentioned her name. She then told Atty. Yhera that she will guide her to the reserved room for them.
“Your Banquet Style reservation is at Balmori Function Room Atty. Yhera,” said the hotel staff while side glancing at her.
“Banquet, maybe you’re wrong, we will just have a private one-year anniversary celebration.” She smiled at the hotel staff, who just mysteriously smiled back at her.
“Just follow me Atty. Yhera, we will be there in seconds,” the hotel staff said gently and with a wide smile. Confused, Atty. Yhera just followed the hotel staff.
When they arrived at the Balmori function area, the whole premises was so dark. “Miss I told you so, you might be wrong. This is not where we are going to dine in," Atty. Yhera said while shaking her head. She was about to turn her back from the Balmori function hall when the Hotel staff, holds her hand and smiled widely again.
“Apology Ma’am, but this is where Mr. Seigfred Yee made a reservation for your occasion.” The staff still lightly holding Atty. Yhera’s and guided her then in going inside the function hall.
When they entered the door, suddenly, a piece of soft and heart-touching music coming from a piano started to blend into the air. Atty. Yhera’s heart rapidly beats as if she is about to lose her breath.
As they continue to walk, one by one the lights turned on. Atty. Yhera was in awe when she saw the well-decorated room and the stage has arranged roses forming these words “Will You Marry Me?”
At the center of the stage, Seigfred was there, standing so handsomely in his tuxedo.
From one of the tables, her Mom Lily, and sister Yhesa stood up with smiles in their faces. They approached her and accompanied her on the stage to join Seigfred.
As Seigfred kneels and offered her a diamond engagement ring, Atty. Yhera could not contain anymore her emotions. ‘though already in tears, she still managed to answer Seigfred’s question. “Yes, I will marry you Seigfred Ye.”
All the staff, even the lawyers who are there can feel the love these two persons have for each other. Some even became emotional too. Mom Lily and Yhesa, are both wiping their tears too. All of them knew the past pains Atty. Yhera experienced with her two prior boyfriends.

As the surprised engagement party advanced, a young sexy figure unexpectedly entered the function hall. She is wearing an all-red tight-fitting above-knee dress. She starts to clap her hands that caught the attention of everybody in the venue.
“Congratulations Atty. Yhera and Seigfred my love!” she shouted then laughed out loud to the surprise of all the attendees of the engagement party.
Seigfred furrowed. “She is not an invited guest. What the hell is she doing here?” he whispered to Atty. Yhera who is keenly observing Rhoda.
“Seems like Rhoda is not in her proper self Seigfred, look at her.” Atty. Yhera is too observant not to notice the condition of Rhoda. She continued. "She seems to be high on something. It can be seen in the way she walks and laughs. She is not in her proper frame of mind Seigfred."
“Seigfred, how could you do this? Why I am not invited? I am your family friend right?” Rhoda continued to talk while trying to walk now laughing again.
Two guards came and immediately they tried to bring Rhoda out of the venue and most probably out of the hotel.
Seigfred clap his hands and said, “alright time to eat friends, intermission number has been finished now; come on, let us enjoy this very special day between me and my soon-to-be lovely bride Atty. Yhera.”
Everyone claps their hands and started to savor all the appetizing, delicious, and expensive foods on the table.
The engagement party became the talk of the day at Atty. Yhera’s office the next day. Some of the staff even posted pictures in their Facebook accounts and Instagram accounts.
Without the knowledge of Atty. Yhera and Seigfred, some even made a Facebook live posts during the engagement party.
It caught the attention of the media men, hence the next day, the engagement of the most eligible bachelor in town, Seigfred Yee, who is the CEO of SYS, Inc., and the young pretty lawyer, Atty. Yhera Kareel Munzana became the headline in some TV news programs, Youtube posts, and some newspapers.

In her car, Rhoda cried and punched her car’s steering wheel. “No! You are mine Seigfred! Mine!”
