I
The next day, early in the morning, Seigfred is already at the gate of Atty. Yhera’s home, waiting for the woman. He does not want this day to pass without patching up things with his fiancée.
He was waiting for an hour already, however no Atty. Yhera yet is coming out of their gate. Usually, at seven o ‘clock in the morning, Atty. Yhera is already rushing going to her law office.
Seigfred decided to call Mommy Lily to seek help, so that he could come inside their house.
“Mommy Lily, it’s me. I am outside, can I come in?” He said immediately when Atty. Yhera’s mother answered her mobile phone.
“Seigfred, Yher is still inside her room. Wait a moment, I will ask our maid to open the gate.” Mommy Lily said before cutting off the line.
When the maid opened the gate, Seigfred immediately drove his car inside the gate, going to the family’s car parking area. Yhera’s car is indeed still there.
Mommy Lily gave Seigfred the key to Atty. Yhera’s room.
When Seigfred opened the door, Atty. Yhera was surprised to see him. Immediately, she stood up, motioning to Seigfred to go away. Her eyes are puppy looking because of almost all night crying.
“I will not get out of your room not until we finished talking and understanding about what you saw in my office yesterday.” Seigfred firmly said to his fiancée.
“Just leave me alone for now Seigfred.”
“No, I won’t.”
Atty. Yhera looked at Seigfred sharply but Seigfred smiled and got his mobile phone inside his pants’ pocket.

Still looking at Seigfred sharply, Atty. Yhera sighed in frustrations. “What do you want me to understand? I have seen you and Rhoda in flagrante delicto.
“I know being a lawyer you will not just believe me without any proof that I am telling the truth. That is why I brought with me my evidence that would convince you that I am innocent of any crime being hurled upon me.” Seigfred said seriously while opening a video in his mobile phone and handing the phone to Atty. Yhera.
Atty. Yhera got the phone and watched the whole video. She fell silent after watching the video.
“Do you believed me now Sweety?” Seigfred asked after Yhera watched the video in his phone.
Atty. Yhera looked at him still with pain in her eyes. “You kissed her back.” She flatly said.
“Did you watch the video keenly? I pushed her after I realized that it was not you I was kissing then.” Seigfred retorted.
Atty. Yhera could not help but to laugh now. “Good thing you are not a lawyer. I will be getting nervous. I might lose my case if you are the opposing lawyer.”
Seigfred laughed heartily when he saw Yhera already laughing at him. He made a step closer and hugged her tightly.
“I’m sorry Sweety; I will make it a point that Rhoda could not enter our building anymore.” He murmured then kissed her lips gently.
Atty. Yhera looked at him with a deep look after their lips parted. "Be sure to do it Mr. Seigfred Yee," she said in a stern voice.

Atty. Yhera’s mother was the first person who felt so relieved when she saw her daughter and her fiancé walking down the stairs, hand and hand now.
“Hayys, good things you understood each other already. Come, I cooked breakfast. Take your seat at the dining table and let us all take our breakfast. I also made brewed coffee, your favorite Seigfred.” Ms. Lily said inviting them to eat.
As they entered the dining area, Seigfred could smell the aroma of the brewed coffee coupled by fried rice, sunny side-up egg, and bacon then fried dried fish. On the side, are sliced tomatoes and cucumber.
“Wow, what a breakfast. I felt my stomach turning around. Happy tummy it is.” Seigfred jokes as he took his seat beside Atty. Yhera at the dining area.
Both Ms. Lily and Yhera laughed at Seigfred.
“I’ll take you to your office Sweety, don’t drive. I will fetch you too tonight and bring you back here.” Seigfred stated after they finished their breakfast.
“Alright Boss.” Atty. Yhera jokingly made a military salute that made Seigfred laughed. He pinched the woman’s nose and put his arm around her shoulders.
Seigfred felt so light and happy. He thought everything between them will end already. He was devastated yesterday, truly devastated. Good thing, he remembered that he has his CCTV inside his office room and Yhera being a lawyer; he knew that he can use it as evidence to convince her.

Seigfred entered his Company’s main door with a wide smile; definitely so contrasting with the expression he had when he left the office yesterday.
Seigfred’s Executive Assistant has a puzzled look while following his boss with her gaze until he got inside his office.
“What happened? Would that mean that I need not feel guilty anymore?” The Executive Assistant thought while randomly checking on the documents on her table that she needs to give to her boss for review.
Just a couple of minutes, Seigfred called on his Executive Assistant. “Come in Chona. I need to talk to you.”
The woman became restless, “Oh my God; he might be telling me that I am fired as of this day.” The poor woman murmured while tears about to fall already from her eyes.
As Chona knocked her Boss’ office door, her hands are shaking.
“Come in Chona, quickly.” Seigfred voice said calmly but with urgency.
“Yes sir.” She made quick strides and in one second she was already sitting in front of her Boss’ executive table.
“Chona.” Seigfred started.
“Boss, I am sincerely sorry, please, please don’t fire me. I really love my job here.” The woman started to sob and Seigfred was laughing so hard as he watched her wiping her tears.
“Boss.”
“Chona, I am not terminating you as my Executive Assistant, okay? I just want you to inform the Human Resources Department to make a Memo and give it to the building guards for compliance.” Still laughing, Seigfred instructed.
“Thank you Sir. What would be the content of the Memo?” Smiling now, Chona asked.
“The Memo should state that Rhoda shall not be allowed to enter the premises of this building and dereliction of duty relative to this means, displacement from work. Got me Chona?”
“Yes Boss. Loud and clear.” Chona happily replied.
“And you Chona, you will be dismissed too if things like that would happen again here in my office.” Seigfred said with seriousness now.
“Yes Boss; Don’t worry, I will be on guard and if I need to drag Ms. Rhoda out of this building, I will.” Chona stated with firmness in her tone.
“That’s good. Now, call my favorite flower shop and order a bouquet of white roses, with a note, “I love you Sweety. Thank you for your understanding, Love Seig.”
“Ayee Sir, I am overly relieved from guilt now and excited to call the flower shop.” Chona giggled.
Seigfred laughed and glanced at her mobile phone as it rings. Her smile faded as he saw the name of the caller.
