On the day of their supposed wedding Atty. Yhera felt like suffering from an undying agony. Her heart was numb and her mind was blank. She caressed her lovely wedding gown, which she took from its box and laid it down on her bed. She also took the complete groom's suit from its box and put it beside her wedding gown, imagining Seigfred wearing it.
Tears freely fell down from Atty. Yhera's eyes. "Today is our wedding day Seigfred, where are you my love?" she asked, sobbing. This should be her most exciting and happy day but all of a sudden it turned out to be her most hurting and her saddest moment.
She laid herself on the bed beside Seigfred's suit and embraced it as if it was Seigfred. She wanted to feel him even through his suit. Her longing for him is indescribable, and the pain is so deep.
"How I am missing you now Seigfred, only God can fathom." Her cries filled the four corners of her room full of untold agonies.
Atty. Yhera's sobbing was ripping the heart of her mother, who was outside her door. She was about to knock but she heard her daughter's cries.
Mommy Lily stayed outside. She let her daughter opened her heart for its grieving. Suddenly, Mommy Lily's tears came out. "If only I can take all your burdens and sadness now Yher, I will," she murmured. "Oh, God why are these things happening now?" she thought full of sadness in her heart.
Atty. Yhera continued to cry in despair. The pain she felt now is much more excruciating as compared to that time when she lost Jethross. The pain is incomparable.
She cried until she almost weakened and her body and spirit surrendered to slumber.
Mommy Lily noticed the sudden silence inside her daughter's room; fear suddenly hit her heart. She ran immediately to the kitchen to get the spare key for Yhera's room. She kept all spare keys in the house in a small box and hid it inside a lunch box inside their kitchen cabinet, so that in case of an emergency like this, she could easily open any door in their house.
Upon getting the key to Atty. Yhera's room, Mommy Lily walked fast going back to her room. She opened it and checked her daughter, whom she saw lying on her bed beside her wedding gown while tightly hugging in her arms, Seigfred's groom suit.
Mommy Lily felt like her heart had been stabbed a hundred times when she saw her daughter in such agony.
Upon checking her pulse and forehead and determining that she was fine, Mommy Lily silently left the room to let her daughter sleep and rest, with a prayer to grant her daughter a clearer state of mind and more strength.

Atty. Yhera has been awakened after almost three hours of sleeping. She immediately alighted from her bed upon checking that it was around eleven o' clock in the morning already. She needs to meet her friend from the NBI whom she asked to conduct a secret investigation on Rhoda's background. She needs to tell him something which she stumbled upon while browsing the net yesterday, hoping to find any information about Rhoda.
Yesterday, Atty. Yhera stumbled on an article in a gossip section on the net involving Rhoda and a popular car racer, stating that the two had been in a dating relationship. The article has been dated a year ago. Her attention was completely taken by the said article. As she went along reading, she found out that the car racer wanted to know the status of their relationship on the day that Rhoda was killed and Seigfred had been lost.
In another article, Atty. Yhera also found out that months ago, Rhoda has been involved in an altercation with a woman, who according to the article was the car racer's ex-girlfriend. The two women even hurt each other physically when they accidentally see each other in a lady's room in one of the popular malls in the city.
With all of those pieces of information, Atty. Yhera's mind suddenly rolled and her lawyer's mind came up with some ideas, which may be weird and impossible but could be a good start to investigate Rhoda's cause of death.
Her friend in the NBI took her information as slim leads but worked on investigating it anyhow. As an investigator, he could not just put away any lead, no matter how small its relation to the case could be.
On one hand, one thing that Atty. Yhera learned from her most admired criminal law professor during her law school years was to never turn down even the most impossible or funniest hint or idea, as we can never tell, it might be the key to solving or winning a case.
