Chapter 50

One year later
At the beach party, everybody was swaying their bodies with the 'ear hurting' music. They were too busy to look at their surroundings. When everybody was dancing with their partners, a girl was dancing alone. She was enjoying the moment and her own company.
"I'm asking you, Mona. Where is she? It's been two hours, she vanished into the air!" A man sitting in the back seat shouted at a girl named Mona angrily who was calling someone again and again.
"She is not responding, Mr. Dalton..." Mona replied to the man, with a scared look.
This had been many times already, she felt she was about to lose her job every time.
"Not responding, not responding. I don't know anything, go and find her out from anywhere as soon as possible. How can she forget she has a photoshoot tomorrow early morning!" And with that, Mr. Dalton closed his eyes and rested his head on the backside.
There, the girl who was dancing at the beach party looked at the screen of her iPhone. Letting out a sigh she yawned and put her phone back in the back pocket of the ripped jeans she was wearing.
In front of her was the world where nobody was sad, everybody was happy only. They were not her friends and she did not know them either. Just like another one this one was also just a party. But still, partying at beaches was her fav.
Now, it was time to go back. She walked backward while glancing at the crowd that was becoming less observant slowly because she was taking every step away.
Still lost in her world just when she turned around she accidentally hit her head against a masculine chest. 'What the hell...' Touching her head, she looked up. No way, she expected this. Seeing the man in front of her eyes, her facial expression changed.
She swallowed hard and bit her lips nervously. In her subconscious mind, she quickly took a step back and lowered her eyes. 'Don't tell me I am not dreaming.'
"So here you are. And this is what you have been doing? Partying like a wild animal!" The man in front of her grabbed her wrist tight while looking at her. He had a strong aura around him. But it was not the reason she was quiet.
Seeing her silent he grabbed her another wrist and pulled her closer.
He shot in a cold tone, "Where will you go now? What lie you will tell this time?"
Before things would go out of her control she had to get everything in her hand. Why she would be afraid? Now, she no longer was weak. She had her plan and if she did not want to get caught she would never let him catch her.
And only God knew, how did he end up here! Like she was promised that he would not know her whereabouts until she would want.
Suddenly she sat on the sand and started crying while he was still holding both her wrists. He was surprised to see her crying when he didn't make her cry yet.
She cried out, making it look real when slowly pulling out her hairpins so her locks could shadow her forehead well.
"Tasukete (help me)." She cried out louder.
He looked around and called her name as he saw her crying. "Sanaya, what are you doing? Stop crying!"
"Darekatasukete kudasai (someone help me please). Kono otoko wa watashi o chikan shite iru(this man is molesting me...)." And she cried out more loudly. People ran towards her and soon they surrounded them.
Still holding her hand he smiled cheekily just to handle the situation. People were probably going to misunderstand. "She is my wife. It's nothing serious. Sanaya, my love..."
But his words were oppressed by her crying. She managed to pull her hands and then she sat on her knees and kept crying while covering her face with her hands. "He, he... Molest... Tasukete... Please..."
"Molest? Haha, she is joking. I am her husband, we are married. Sanaya, baby get up. I won't ever s..." As the man extended his hand she lifted her head a little without looking straight into his eyes. Her face could not be seen clearly.
"He... Lying... Watashi wa kono otoko o shiranai (I don't know this man)." She nodded her head in denial continuously while keeping her head down.
"Sanaya... Stop... We had a little argument and she..." He tried to get her up.
As he was about to grab her hand she put her hand on his hand gently and before he could understand anything she dragged herself towards his chest quickly and then she pushed herself against him as if it was all done by him.
"Jerk!" In the crowd, she did not need to do anything anymore. Two girls helped her to get up when everybody glared at the man. And then the war started.
Seeing her path to being clear, she slowly walked her way out from the crowd. She stood at far and smiled while watching the great show in front of her. People were bound to beat the man and that's what was making her smile. She was going to make him get as much hurt as he did to her.
She was enjoying his 'trying to get out of there' try but she could barely stop her laughter. Though she just came out to enjoy her free time she did not expect to see her husband appear in front of her after forgetting her for one year. Holding onto herself she let out a small cough. 'Seems you have got your heart back, I wonder if you have one anyway... You will see me only when I will want you to see me, Mr. Davis. So hold onto yourself a little more, please. I am going to come back soon.'
With a devilish smile, she stretched out her arms. Looking at the phone screen she spat out, "Oii, I want to eat butter chicken."
And then she glared at the man standing in the crowd, he was probably dealing with the people. If not for him, she would have been lost somewhere by now but only because of him, she became what she is today. But the ultimate surprise was depending on her. Only she could decide what and when to do things. She still did not want to let him see her. Staying overseas she wondered many times if he has totally forgotten her. What if he was already regretting his early behavior with her? But then seeing him getting in the news because of his relationships with several girls made her more desperate to become a model.
Like a free bird who did not give a damn whether he was going to get beaten up or save himself, she walked away.
It was two am in the morning when she entered her apartment. She was about to keep her shoes in the line but suddenly seeing someone else was also present there she threw one shoe at North when the other one found its way to the south.
Walking to the couch she lied on her stomach like a dead chicken. "Gosh, I'm so tired! I want to eat butter chicken."
"Sis...." She heard her assistant's voice. Seeing the girl standing in front of her she let out a sigh and sat up. "Oh Mona, I was just practicing and..."
"Practising? Two days ago you have almost got into an accident and this time, you went to a party. Do you....." None of the girls said anything as there reached a male who seemed like a raging ball. Mona looked at him and then at her boss, the superior.
Mona stood like steel, with no words uttering through her mouth. Throwing her leg on the air the girl lied on the couch as she asserted casually, "I won't do that again, anyway."
Hearing her both Mona and the guy took a sigh. How raged he would be and how soon she every time made him shut his mouth, it was funny to see. At least, Mona laughed hard because of that but she had to shut her mouth soon as she saw him glancing at her with the round raged eyes of a bull.
"Mona, you guys have dinner. I am leaving her to you. Remember, I AM LEAVING HER TO YOU." Those words sent shivers down her spine but still as it was her job, Mona smiled at him reassuringly.
Expecting no 'goodbye or goodnight' from the girl he left from there on his own.

"Mr. Davis, are you ok?" Kyle ran towards the man, standing by the seashore while having his hands in his pocket.
With a nod, Nicolas Davis took the coffee cup from Kyle's hand.
Kyle let out a sigh of relief. He was worried about him when he left the hotel without telling him anything.
"By the way, Mr. Davis. Are you really sure she was your... Your wife?" Kyle was curious to know. After one year, she would be here nobody thought. It was more likely impossible for Kyle. And he had counted many things scene by scene but what he got was 0.
But Nicolas solved the math question for Kyle. "I am sure. Find out where is she right now." As he ordered Kyle, he nodded his head and called someone when Nicolas was still standing by the seashore.
A question was still troubling him. Only she could answer him though. But she was gone. He was having a problem believing that it was not a dream but it happened really.
But strange, he did not know who was the person who informed him that his wife would be here at the exact time.
He was going to go back to Los Angeles until he got a message from an unknown number. And that's how he came here.
When he saw her dancing crazily, he lost his temper. He waited for her but seeing her he could not move for some time. His wife did not like partying, let alone going to a beach party all alone. And the girl he saw was not wearing anything related to a married woman. 'I must find out what is going on! Someone is behind all of this shit!!!'
He squeezed the coffee cup in resentment.

Since when I was teen, I seldom imagine myself being the person referred from the book or novels I have read, and somehow dreamt of having it happen in my life.😍
