“Mr. Davis, it’s done.” The corner of Nick’s lips dilated meticulously when Kyle reported to him. He sat on the chair while confronting Benson. It was already six in the evening and when his wife was not back yet when he was deemed to be mad, he was indeed squatting there with a smile playing on the corner of his lips. Benson could sense that something was fiddling in his mind. “Where are you going?” Seeing him get up he inquired Nick. “To attend a party,” Nick answered him while wandering soundlessly. Benson couldn’t just stop worrying as he knew how Nick would react now knowing his beloved wife was not back yet. “Wait, what are you planning on doing?” He just pursued him outside of the room. ** “Sanaya, are you sure you want to go there? See, you know the situation now. Media will not leave you alone if you go there and…” She was less concerned about the media though. Her priority was something else, or precisely to say a mysterious person. She grinned, staring at the mirror, and then she swerved towards her manager, Danielle. “I will be ok, don’t worry.” Danielle spared a gaze at Mona. Delivering her a cold one, he let out a sigh. Though he instructed them not to go it didn’t work, Sanaya was persistent and now, Mona also clasped her tail. Danielle couldn’t do something but give up. He kneaded his forehead and sniffed the air and then his voice tone came out significantly, “Fine. Since you two are so persistent, I won’t stop you from going but you have to listen to me.” Both the girls bobbed their heads at Danielle. Well, that was the least they could do of course. “Here’s the guest list, take it.” Both Danielle and Mona were conversing aside but Sanaya was thinking about the person she was curious to meet now, especially when he was being bizarre. Only this person could solve her problem now. Though the invitation seemed somehow weird, the man didn't even introduce himself. But she needed to take the risk since it was all about her career. At the party hall Prominent businessmen, celebrities, and elite people, it was not a party-for-ordinary-ones sure thing. To get in there, one would have to get noticed by the media. It was as simple as that. At the party, how many people came and who they were, it was not unknown to them. Tonight coming here one would be in the magazine tomorrow morning. In the populace, on one side Nick was chatting with a businessman. He kept looking at his wristwatch again and again. Though he seemed calm, he was restless deep down. He had no interest in such parties anyway. “Mr. Davis, are you waiting for someone?” As the businessman asked him, Nick stared at him, “…” “You looked at your wristwatch more than twenty times so I thought…” Nick was about to reply to him with a simple nod but suddenly a female hand stroked his shoulder. Finally, she came. That's what he thought at the time. “You are here…” With those three words, he veered towards Tuna with a luminous smile but soon his smile receded and he appeared as frigid as those nasty wolves when he saw her. The man behind him giggled and declared openly, “Ahh, so you were waiting for Miss Tuna…” As soon as she heard the businessman say so she beamed at him showing a little shyness. Shamelessly she grabbed his arm tightly as if she was his girlfriend. While holding onto him she didn’t stop showing how happy she was at that time. “Were you waiting for me?” “I was n…” “I am so sorry, I was a little late dear…” Nick was about to get rid of her grip but then she held onto him tighter. He let out a sigh and grabbed her hand to nudge her away, he couldn’t even tolerate her for even a second more. The businessman smiled and coughing he walked away, leaving them alone. As soon as he left Nick propelled her away. “Nick…” “Stop there.” His voice came out rough this time and he creaked like he was very disgruntled. That was enough to let her get back to her senses. They were subsisting opposite of each other when Nick was getting rid of her smell out of his trouser where she put her hand earlier on. Tuna felt wrath scrambling through her streaks but more than that she was feeling dreadful, he even hated her touch. Stubbornly she rode to him and clenched his hand again. “You were waiting for me, weren't you? Then why are you shoving me away now…” “Who told you I was waiting for you…” Nick never irked himself to attend parties, tonight he voluntarily came here. But the person he was waiting for, didn’t yet come here. “Sanaya sis is it…” when he was about to reply to Tuna he heard Mona taking his wife’s name. He quickly stared at the way the voice was coming from and then… he saw her. Sanaya was wandering somewhere when Mona was proceeding behind her. He didn’t feel any need to say anything to Tuna but quickly scrambled to Sanaya. Seeing how he was in a hurry to follow Sanaya, Tuna yanked his hand from behind. Shocked, he gaped at her coldly, “What do you think you are doing?” “Nick, I really like you. Why do you always reject me?” “Let go.” “Never, you have to tell me why you always reject me. My feelings for you are sincere yet you never even look at me. This is unfair, how can you do this to me? How can you not look at me even though I am this pretty.” She held his hand tighter…. An unwanted trouble appeared now, Nick knew she was a little annoying but tonight, she even crossed the line. Tuna suddenly started sobbing. Before she could start making a commotion, Kyle quickly hurried there. “Nick…” Kyle strutted between them, safeguarding his boss. “If you make a fuss here, you will lose all you got with the help of Mr. Davis immediately,” He let her know. “Never let me see this crazy woman ever again.” With that, Nick ran away from there. He was so pissed off, seriously. There, Sanaya was examining everybody while subsisting in a corner. She had a mask on so nobody could tell who she was. But she didn’t find out who the person was who told her to meet her here. While standing alone in a corner, she was getting bored. Beep! She took her phone out of her purse. Another message popped up on the screen. “Turn to your left, Miss Sanaya Roy Chowdhury.” The unknown person called her the same way he did in the first message, now it was making her more curious to know who it was. Since she came here, nobody called her this way. Let alone calling her like this, everybody struggled to pronounce her name and more of a surname perfectly more or less. ‘I have to see who it is.’ Putting her phone back into her purse as she turned to her left slightly she heard Nick’s voice coming from the right side. “You are here.” How did she find her? No, what was he doing here? Sanaya gaped at Nick for once and upon recalling what she was doing, just when she turned to her left she was stunned. With utter panic, she kept glaring at the person who was smirking at her from afar. NO WAY!
