"We're already back there, Tay. You don't have to worry so much," Joey says. "If we're already back in the past, why did you have to wish that things didn't have to be awkward between us?" Taylor's voice became slightly higher, not in an angry manner, yet it was more of an upset manner. Again silence fills the air as Joey became speechless at Taylor's question. Feeling awkward, Joey moved his vision away from Taylor. Yet, Taylor didn't like his action. She didn't like the fact that he chose to look away, avoiding any eye contact. This made Taylor feel upset. Slowly, Taylor leans closer to Joey, making him turn his head, where their eyes meet again. "Taylor," Joey wasn't able to finish, after he felt Taylor's soft lips touched his. Not anymore that it's surprising, yet Joey found a comforting feeling when their lips connect. The soft sensation of her touch sends a sensational feeling, something he never experience before. Though he knew that he just broke their "friendship agreement", he didn't want to stop what they're currently doing at the moment. Slowly, Joey's hands starts to find its way to Taylor's waist. He slowly pulls her on top of his lap, as they continue their magical moment, with a feeling of guilt lingering in both of their hearts. The next day... At school... "I swear I put it here yesterday," Paige says as she continues to search her locker for her math book. "Umm..maybe it's in your backpack," Eleanor states. "No way. I swear I put in my locker," Paige says as she continues to search her locker, with Taylor and Eleanor standing there as they wait for their friend to find her book. "Hey, pretty girls!" Taylor and Eleanor both rolled their eyes upon hearing the flirty voice of the guy who approached them. They didn't bother to turn around to see the guy, since annoyance already filled their head. "Ignoring me I see," the guy, Tim, says as he stood next to Eleanor. "You better not do anything dumb, Anderson," Eleanor blurts out in a cold tone, not bothering to have eye contact with the dirty blonde hair boy. "Woah, Eli. Chill cause I'm not here to cause chaos," Tim says. Yeah right. Taylor thought as she roll her eyes again. "Anyway, what's my darling Paige doing looking all stressed?" Tim ask, but Paige didn't even bother to answer the boy. "She's minding her own business. And for your information, you better mind yours," Eleanor states in a sassy tone with her hands on her hips. "Woah, Eli. What's up with the attitude on a fine morning?" Tim ask in his signature flirty manner. "She's sick of your presence, Tim," Taylor says. "Geez...no need to be rude. I'm just stopping by to invite you to the event of the year," Tim states. "What event?" Taylor ask. "As you know, I'll be throwing my super hot 16th birthday party this Saturday. And all you ladies are invited," Tim says before he flips his tacky looking bangs to the left side. "Birthday? Man, I forgot you're getting a year older," Eleanor says, realizing that she had forgotten Tim's birthday. "Older and wiser, Eli. Of course, you have to come," Tim says, before he turns his vision from Eleanor to Paige, who is still searching her locker. "Anyway, gotta go. I need to invite the others as well. Bye my pretty girls," Tim says before giving both Taylor and Eleanor a sassy wink, in which they reacted with a discgusted face. "I'm not going to his party," Paige says before she slams her locker door, finally giving up on looking for her math book. "Not surprised," Taylor says. She and the girls knew how hurt Paige was after what happened at the arcade date. "Tell me about it. I would rather do somersaults than watch him dance to some EDM music," Eleanor says. "I'll say," Paige says. "Anyway, let's go." "Umm..your math book?" Taylor ask. "Just forget about it. I probably left it home," Paige says. "Damn, just gotta be prepared for detention." Hearing that, Eleanor slightly widen her eyes. It's the first time she heard Paige looking not too panic over getting detention. Meanwhile, Taylor just kept her chill and stayed silent. The three girls eventually walks through the hallway and heads to class. 20 minutes later... At class... "Now let's turn to page 80!" As the students goes on with another day of science class, somehow Taylor couldn't find the energy to consentrate on the class, which is a new realization for her. Always known for having good focus in everything, somehow today she couldn't even remember what Mr Gray even said. Her eyes are too busy glancing at Joey from time to time, who is sitting not far from her. She could feel butterflies dancing in her stomach at every glance, and was relieved at the fact that he didn't seem to notice. Flashbacks from last night started to play in her head. From them doing there homework together like any typical best friends, to their unexpected kiss which now left a deeper meaning in Taylor's heart. She wanted to say that it was a guilty pleasure, and despite the fact that she knew that it was wrong, she couldn't seem to forget about it, or even not think about wishing for another chance. Between feeling guilty towards Eleanor and her growing feelings towards Joey, Taylor just wanted to go on with the mistake that made her most happy, despite the guilt lingering in her heart. Just as Taylor continues with her daydream, a paper ball suddenly hits the right side of her head, snapping her back to reality. She turns her head with annoyance to see whoever dare to throw a paper ball at her. Not surprised much, it turned out to be Tim who let out his tongue at her before moving his face away so Mr Gray won't notice. Jerk. Taylor thought, before she grabs the paper ball from her table. She then opens paper ball to see what's written on it. As much as you deny your attraction towards me, don't forget that you can't miss my party. See you there, pretty girl. Taylor read the paper in her head, only to eventually feeling sick of Tim's so-called letter. To be continue....
