Tim shifts his gaze between Eleanor and Fred. He then walks in between the two and cross his arms. "Ok, so let's clear some things with a proper introduction! Fred, this is my hella annoying classmate, Eleanor. And Eli, this is my not-so-playboy cousin, Fred," Tim says in the most sarcastic manner, making Eleanor roll her eyes and Fred just stare at Tim with a discgusted look. "Umm...what kind of introduction was that?" Eleanor ask in a sassy manner. "An intro by yours truly," Tim says in a flirty manner. "Anyway, I gotta make more drinks. If you happen to look for the guest room well it's upstairs." Eleanor dropped her jaws as she watches Tim walks away from sight, leaving her with Fred who had chuckled at her action, and also at Tim's sassy movement. "Don't mind him. He's always like that," Fred says, before he lets out a small chuckle. Eleanor turns her head to face Fred. They get into another eye contact as Eleanor puts her hands on her hips, giving her confident look, which deep down Fred found to be attractive. "Yeah. Always like that," Eleanor says as she starts to study Fred's sapphire blue eyes, which goes perfectly with his thick brown eyebrows. Eleanor wanted to think that he was a model before, and didn't even expected him to be related to Tim in anyway. While Tim always looked annoying to her, somehow this guy just simply looks breath-taking. "Like my eyes?" Fred's flirty question suddenly made Eleanor blush of embarassment. He must have noticed her studying his eyes for too long. "What? Oh, sorry. I just thought they sparkled for a moment," Eleanor says, before laughting nervously to hide how awkward she's feeling right now. This is the first time she has ever felt awkward around someone. Fred chuckles, "I get that a lot." "Really?" Eleanor raised her left eyebrow. "Yeah," Fred says. "Back in high school, the girls would often say my eyes looked like sapphire." Eleanor giggles at Fred's statement, making him let out another chuckle. Meanwhile, Joey had been shifting his gaze between both Eleanor and Fred who seemed to be having a little "moment" of getting to know each other, which secretly irritated him in a way. He is very protective of Eleanor, so seeing her now interacting with a guy she barely knows sort of triggers him. "Eli, where's your sister?" Joey asks all of a sudden. "I think she's talking with Paige somewhere." Eleanor turned her head away from Fred to Joey. Joey smiles and gently holds Eleanor's hand all of a sudden, making her surprised inside. "Let's go look for her," Joey says, before shifting his gaze at Fred. Without any warning, Joey drags Eleanor away from Fred and into the crowd, leaving Fred to stood alone. He forms a small smirk as he watch Joey and Eleanor getting lost in the crowd. What is he? Her boyfriend? Fred thought. Meanwhile, upstairs... "There are three things that light up this world," Oliver says to Lillian. "What is it?" Lillian ask while staring into Oliver's eyes. "The sun, the moon, and the stars. But you, Lillian, light up my whole world," Oliver says as he attempted to make a seductive face, making Lillian blush. "Oli, that's just too sweet," Lillian says. "But you're sweeter, Lillian Smith," Oliver says, again with a seductive face. As Oliver continue to throw some flirty sentences to Lillian, Taylor couldn't help but stare at the couple with a sick feeling. She wanted to puke seeing them acting all lovey-dovey, but knew that it would inappropriate. Besides, she was the one who decided to stood there and watch the couple get lost in their own world. Is romance really this discgusting? No, no way, Taylor. Love is totally a normal thing. What's make the sight of it sickening because Oliver is here. Taylor thought, before taking another sip of her cocktail. "Like my cocktail, pretty girl?" Tim's aggressive voice tinkles through Taylor's ears, hence making her feel more sick. "I would rather hit the bar if it wasn't your birthday," Taylor says, before rolling her eyes at the birthday boy. "Ah, but you're here tonight and that makes me happy enough," Tim says with a cheeky smile. Taylor roll her eyes once again, before taking another sip of her cocktail. Slowly she could feel the effect of the drink to get to her as her starts lightly spinning. "Are you drunk, Taylor Steward?" Tim asks Taylor. "A little," Taylor answers. She then puts the glass of cocktail on the small table just beside her. Realizing she didn't want to get too drunk tonight, she decided that she wanted to look for the couch downstairs to relax. "Excuse me," Taylor says as she walks away from Tim. Downstairs, in the living room... "Damn, and after everything I still caught him trying to hit on Cheryl in the kitchen," Paige says as Eleanor sits next to her on the couch while waiting for Joey to get her a glass of orange juice. "Not surprised," Eleanor says. "By the way, have you seen Taylor anywhere?" "She headed upstairs to look for Lillian," Paige says, before taking another sip of her cocktail. "Anyway, I'm going home." "What? Like now?" Eleanor asks, a bit surprised that Paige wanted to leave so early. "Seeing Tim only hurt me more," Paige says, with a bit of a tipsy tone."It's enough that I attend his birthday party, but I'm not gonna spend more time here only to get hurt." "How are you gonna get home?" Eleanor ask, concern about her friend's current state. "My dad's already here," Paige says, making Eleanor surprised. "Wow, that's fast," Eleanor says. Paige forms a small smile, "Well, gotta go. Bye, Eleanor." "Yeah, bye Paige," Eleanor says. "Oh, and say goodbye to Taylor for me," Paige says before walking away from the crowd. After Paige disappeared from the crowd, Eleanor sits back on the black couch. Joey had returned from the kitchen with a glass of orange for her. "Here," Joey says as he hands Eleanor the glass of orange juice. "Thanks," Eleanor says. She then takes a sip of the juice. "No problem," Joey says casually. His gaze than starts wondering through the crowd of people dancing to Ed Sheeran's "Galway Girl". "By the way, have you seen Fred around?" Eleanor ask, which made Joey's heart skipped a beat as he turns his head to face her. To be continue...
