“I’m going to the toilet.” Adam stands up, decide to leave after a couple of hours taught the dumb Marcos. Never happen in his life, teaching someone would wear him out. What happen to Marcos parents? Aren't they fed up of having a super dumb child?
But at least, he has an effort to study. He praised Marcos for that one thing. Compared to Aiden, he saw that Aiden was just playing pen with a bored face.
Lucky for him that Mabella who is the one taught Aiden. If it was him, with no doubt, he will just kick Aiden out of the library. It's a waste of time to teach people like that
“You sure you want to do this to Aiden?”
Adam stopped from taking a step when he heard people’s talking in the science lab. To tell the truth, he couldn’t care less about people’s conversations, but they mentioned about Aiden's name that make him stop from walking. It’s not like he was curious or something, it just that Aiden is his friend. Uh, maybe?
No, forget about it. There is no way that dummy was his friend.
Adam tilted his head at the window to look who was talking.
From what he could see, there was two girls, one girl is so thin and another one was being so fat.
From what Adam remembered, both of them was in the second last class.
“What’s with your face? You did not like my plan? Ha? Were you disagree with me?” The thin girl questioning the fat girl.
“It’s not like that. Just.. is it okay to accuse Aiden for something he didn’t do?” The fat girl looks very guilty to follow the thin girl’s plan. She still has some morality, but she was afraid with her friend so she definitely will listen to that thin girl.
“So what? No one will know about this. It's only me and you and if you just shut the hell up and not bragging about this to anyone, who would know?”
Adam smirk. Such a big confidence.
“But-but..”
“What again?! Listen here Fatty, that guy, Aiden, he is not a good person so doing this much thing is okay, he deserves it. He is someone who breaks people’s heart. He need to repay what he has done. Okay? Come on, just go along with me this time.”
“Okay.. but please promise this will be the last time. I don’t want to get involved with this anymore.”
“Of course, I promise.”
After listening to the whole thing, Adam decides to leave. But to be honest, it's not like he wants to prevent this thing from happened. It's just, this thing will turn interesting if he knows the whole incident. And he bet, this is a good opportunity for Mabella. Since Mabella was his best friend, it doesn’t hurt to help her once.
Mabella looked at Aiden who was spinning his pen while staring blankly at the book. Bella sighed, gives up on teaching Aiden. He never serious about study so why would he come here? After all, this place is really not suitable for Aiden who looks like delinquent.
A handsome delinquent.
“You bored?”
“Of course.” A quick answer from Aiden.
“I-I see. How about we just stop here? You don’t look like you will gain anything though.”
“Wow, the longest I've known you, the more rude you’ve become.”
“I-I just says what's really on my mind. You cannot blame me for saying something like that be-because what I said is all true.”
“Is this really your real self or you have become rude because you being friends with them?” Aiden appointed his finger to Emma, Sophia and Gianna.
Sophia chuckles a little, hearing Aiden's response. “Why are you blaming us? Shouldn’t you be happy because you met a really honest person? Everyone that you have met before this is all fake.”
“Yeah, and Mabella was right. You really don’t gain anything even if you study so just give up.” Emma added.
“Thank you for the compliment.” Aiden just too lazy to argue with Sophia since his hips become numb after an hour sat on the chair.
“Hey, where is Adam? He said that he want to go to the toilet, but it has been a long time he went there.” Marcos asked.
“Oh, Adam message me earlier that he will go straight to the class.” Mabella responded.
“Then, Mabel, how about after school, we go eat together? It would be an honour to treat you and Adam. You guys really worked hard to teach us today.” Emma said.
“Erm, no thanks. I have something to do actually.” Mabella packed her things.
“I will take my leave.”
“Yeah, thanks for your hard work, Mabel.”
Mabella leave all of them behind. After standing outside the library, she looked around.
“Mabel.” Adam touches Mabella's shoulder with his fingertips.
“Here you are. Now, tell me everything.”
“Sure but lets go somewhere privacy.”
Then, they both leave the library together.
At the same time, Marcus and Rohan walked together from class to the library. They both want to invite their friends who are very diligent in learning to go home.
“Hey, Rohan? Is that Adam and Mabel?” Marcus asked when he saw the two of them were talking behind the library. Each of them had a serious expressions which is confusing Marcus.
Well, Adam's facial expression didn't bother him much but Mabella's expression, really do confused him.
Her face, isn’t that look scary?
“Gianna.” Rohan called Gianna's name making marcus turning towards the library door.
“Oh, hey, Gianna. Where are the others?” Marcus asked when he saw only Gianna came out of the library.
“Punish.” That's all Gianna's answer.
“Punish? By who?”
“Librarian.”
“Because?”
“Noisy.”
“Oh, you mean, all of them had been punished by the librarian because they make a fuss in there? And were they noisy? Did Marcos and Sophia had a fight again? And Emma and Aiden cheers them up?”
Gianna nodded her head.
If it was other people, of course they do not understand what Gianna is talking about. But, because Marcus has been friends with Gianna for a long time, he became understood everything what is his friend trying to say. Gianna and also Rohan, both of them only talk a little if the topic of conversation is not so important.
“Home, first.” Gianna then said another words.
“They asked us to go home first?”
Gianna again nodded her head.
“Oh wait.” Marcus then revisited the back of the library. However, it seems that Mabella and Adam are not there. Maybe both of them already went home. Marcus shook his head. What he saw earlier might be an illusion. There is no way Mabella would make a scary facial expression. She is just a nerd.
“Okay, nothing. I might be wrong. Let’s go home.” Marcus began to walk ahead of the others.
After that, Rohan follows Marcus while Gianna looked at the place where Marcus observe earlier.
Gianna too, she saw something unexpected.
“Gianna! What are you doing? Come on!” Marcus yelled.
Then, Gianna starts to walk, leaving that place.
