Chapter 27 DO YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHO I AM?

HOSPITAL
Desmond briskly rushed into the hospital, his face flushed with anxiousness. His darting eyes swiftly lurked through the corridors as he sped towards the reception. His breath was quiet heavy.
"Hi, Miss" He exclaimed as soon as he got to the reception. "Please I'm looking for a patient, Mrs. Catherina Benson. She was rushed here some minutes ago– Can I know her ward?" He mumbled in a single breath.
The nurse tilted her head with a faint smile.
" Wait a moment while I check it for you." She replied, turning back to the laptop in front of her.
He drummed his fingers on the counter as he impatiently waited. His legs were unable to stand still, he rubbed the nape of his neck as he run his hands through his hair, desperate. Just then, a voice called from behind.
"Desmond?" He deftly turned only to find his mother approaching from the doctor's office with Martin.
" Mum!" he howled as he sped towards them.
" Are you okay, mum?", he cried as soon as he neared them, hugging her in the process. "I was so worried about you"
Catherine smiled as she ruffled the back of his head.
" Yes, honey,I'm fine– But how did you know I was here...?", she queried with a furrowed brow. Martin stuttered.
" Um–Sorry, Mrs. Catherina, I informed him. I forgot to tell you about it." Without waiting for a word from his mother, Desmond interrupted.
" What happened, mum?– what did the doctor say?"
" Nothing to worry about dear." Catherine replied with a faint sigh. " Just a slight headache– Let's go home now so I can rest, a bit more"
" Are you sure about this, mum?" He queried and she bobbed her head.
" Yeah–come on, let's go." She replied with a smile.
" Alright if you say so." He stuttered, turning his gaze back to Martin. " Hey, thanks for call and everything. I really appreciate your care–" He went on back Martin cut in.
" Don't mention, you would have done same if it was me–"He stated. They both smiled and hugged each other.
GRAVEYARD
Gisella got to her parent's grave. She gave a faint smile as she stared down at the two grave, opposite each other and showed white knuckles.
" Hi, mum– dad." Her face contorted with a sad smile. "I miss you so much and always wished you took me along with you" She trembled with sobs. "But no, you guys left me all alone in this cruel world; to face this endless battle– But, I got nothing to say about that." She sniffed. " Let's just leave things the way they are for now. Yet I have one question I need an answer for." She sobbed amidst chuckles.
" Why can't I have the person I love beside me without the fear of losing him just like I lost you? Why is my fate full of pain and neglect" She sloughed down on the grave in tears.
" Why are you punishing yourself like this, Gisella?", a voice called from the grave next to her.
She slowly raised her head towards the direction of the voice and noticed a young lady of her age ( 19years) in white sparkling dress; seated next to the grave beside her as she stared blankly at it. She jolted and fell to the ground, her face flushed with fear.
" Who are you?" She stuttered with wide eyes and raised brow. "Why do you look so much like me– when did you get here", she stammered.
" Do you really want to know who I am?", the young lady cried as she deftly turned towards her. Gisella instinctively gulped down a loop in her throat.
" Ye– yes, I want to know who you are and how you knew my name" She answered in a shaky voice.
" I'm you, Gisella– I'm your reflection." She instinctively replied. Gisella gasped with hands over her mouth as she involuntarily sauntered back and the girl inched forward.
"No, no – Don't come any closer " Her voice echoed.
"The reflection that you keep running away from", she answered as she kept closing up on Gisella, who kept crawling backwards in fear.
" What do you mean by that", she nervously mumbled.
" When will you start appreciating and accepting yourself?– Is it when you've lost everything?" The girl howled. " Fight, Gisel– fight for who you are. Everyone was created in their own special way and you are of no difference; so why do you allow yourself to be intimidated by others. This is just a little advice I came to deliver for now. I'll ask you to be cautious of yourself and the one you love. I see dark days ahead. You either lose two or lose one but I'll advice you to play safe. Fight for yourself and win both yourself and your lover's life. The ball is in your court", she explained and diminished like thin air without any trace of her.
Gisella shouted, trembling in fear and sped off towards her house. All along, Bello stood at a distance, outside the cemetery, behind a tree as he kept trace of her. He crunched out of his hideout as soon as she sped past him. With a fixed, wolfish gaze, he stared as her back faded in the distance. He smirked in a cold tone.
" Can't wait to enjoy you, sexy– before finally, showing you the way to your ancestors." He chuckled. "Don't worry, you'll soon be with me", he muttered with a grin and strolled back to his hideout.
THE ANTONIO'S MANSION
Natasha stood at the hall, lost in her thoughts. Her face instinctively lightened up and her lips curved in a mischievous smile.
" Is time to use Loretta as a tool to get Desmond out of my way." She mumbled with a chuckle. " Is better done sooner than later–Tomorrow is your last day to see this sun, Desmond." She chortled.
"I'll make sure you never escape this time." She muttered, her lips instinctively curved in a smile.
Just then, Gisella walked in from the entrance and sauntered past her, towards the stairs with a pale, sweaty face.
" Look who just walked in– my bait ", Natasha called from the hall, drawing Gisella's attention in the process. She instinctively paused in her steps and gazed back at her, a bit confused.
" What does she mean by, my bait? What's she up to this time?" she wondered, her eyes betrayed her nervousness. " Why did you call me that?" She queried.
" You'll soon understand but not now– It's my little secret, surprise gift." She chuckled. " Don't worry, I know you'll like it." Natasha replied and trod past her as she graciously sauntered over to her room.
Gisella's devastation, evident enough on her face as she glared at her back. Her heart offered a silent prayer.
" Oh, God– help me find out what she's up to" She sighed and paced into her room.

I don't know what should I say. It's a very nice story combined with sad and real struggle in this life. Everytime the characters in this story experienced sadness, my tears dropped onto my cheeks, come in feeling what they feel. Just a little bit fix for grammar and error spelling words written and it would be great story I have ever read. Keep in spirit for the writer in order to continue writing other great stories.
