Chapter 18 Heavy Feels

Sakana is Sukune's swordswoman sister. She is a hidden swordswoman who is part of an unknown group of swordsmen and swordswomen. She is the third powerful woman in the unknown group she is with, and she was sent to Naruduna Village to scout.
She was in a ramen restaurant. She was inside, finishing her last bowl of ramen. She ate twenty ramen orders. As she paid her bill and left, the ramen shop appeared to be closing.
After eating, she exhales a sigh of relief and relaxes. She thought it was delicious and wished she could have some more, but her stomach is full. She looked around and saw that there was no one else around except for her, but there was light. She turns around to see the unknown man smiling who owns the nearby ramen shop.
She felt more relieved as she turned to the right and began walking on the dirt path leading to the village gate. She felt something heavy in her heart that she wanted to get rid of but couldn't. She began to think as she felt a presence in the houses she was walking by.
"I wonder if I was wrong... What if there is really someone behind all of this? A mastermind," she reasoned as she leapt to a conclusion. She wears her demon mask, which has two horns but one is cut, on her back. As she walked, she appeared menacing and intimidating.
She continued on her way to the gate. She arrived at the gate after a few minutes of walking and saw two unknown gate guards standing with their spears and shields. They are having their own conversation while ignoring her.
She noticed the forest in the distance was pitch black. She can feel the wind on her face. The twin is also blowing down the 400-foot-tall trees. It was quiet, but she noticed something strange in the forest.
That caused her to come to a halt between the Naruduna Village's massive gate. The two guards look at him as he stares into the forest. They were both on guard as they stared at the forest. They notice movement and strange wind blows in the forest. The bushes and leaves in the distance are moving strangely, but there is no noise. Sakana senses a presence.
"Hey guards, are you two expecting any visitors?" she asked, turning away from them and staring deep into the pitch-black forest.
"No, there are no expected visitors, but Sir Farrel, the only Head of this Village, has the order to kill," the soldiers replied, moving into a defensive position expecting trouble. The other guard signaled to the tower behind them that reinforcements were on their way to their gate.
The dark being emerged alone from the forest, displaying just its fists. Sakana drew her sword with her right hand without pausing when she noticed that the unknown was unarmed. Dark particles were all around him, and he was wearing a dark hood. Sakana could sense his aura of deadly intent and how extremely dangerous he was.
It was making her throw off because she could feel it but still faced it. She moves into an open position with her sword in her right hand and begins approaching the unknown in the distance.
"This is reckless... I can sense more of them behind him, but why will he be alone...? And does he not have a weapon?" she pondered as she moved ten feet away from the gate and away from the soldiers. She heard footsteps from behind, realizing that more soldiers had arrived, and she expected an army to arrive at the front gate soon. She caught sight of the unknown, who was still approaching her, and a pure killer's intent shocked her as she saw the unknown staring straight into her soul.
"I wish you would step aside!" the unknown Dark Being yelled angrily in the distance. He continued to approach her as she stood on her ground, maintaining eye contact with a strong heart.
"Then I wish you'd leave first!" she exclaimed as the blade of her sword began to glow bright red and heat began to radiate from it in the air.
"Then you have a death wish! I'll be happy to take your life!" he said menacingly as he suddenly stepped on his left foot and destroyed the ground heavily and dashed forward. He reaches her before the second count.
Her eyes widened as she swung her sword up, and the unknown dark being punched in the air towards her. She deflected his fists, but she was suddenly pushed back towards the soldiers by an incredible force.
She slammed into the soldier's shield, knocking everyone to the ground. As the unknown dark being flies back toward her, she grunts. He raised his fists toward her neck when a spear stabbed him directly in the hand. Her eyes widened as she noticed a gap. The soldier stabbed his right hand, which caused the dark being to turn around and get punched in the face, killing him completely. As soon as he was punched, his head blew off, and her eyes widened even more.
When he realized Sakana was in front of him, he removed the spear that had stabbed his right hand. He grabbed the blade of her sword with just his fingers as she was about to reach his neck with the blade of her sword. Her eyes widened in terror as she noticed the Dark being brightly smiling at her.
"I warned you! But you didn't listen," he said menacingly to her as he slowly twisted his right hand, which had caught her blade, but she lifted herself and kicked him in the face with her right leg, removing the tight grip of her sword with just his fingers.
She immediately retreated as the soldiers who fell rose and formed a line behind her. As he stood, the Dark Being noticed she was catching her breath and sweating heavily, whereas he had not sweated at all.
"What's wrong, tired already?" he asked, slowly approaching her again. She could feel the intense heat around him, and she notices that his power is increasing in an unusual way.
"I see why he doesn't have a weapon now... It's because he doesn't need it. Those fists of his are as strong as lead and it's thinner and stronger than it, he just killed a soldier with one fist and it blow his entire head off, and he died," she thought furiously as she moved into a strike stance and stroked her sword menacingly. As the soldiers behind her moved into the distance to avoid a collision, she pointed her sword at him.
"What are you trying to accomplish here, Swordswoman? You failed to save a soldier and now you're trying to figure out who I am! You can't do anything to me with that only glowing heating blade of yours! You need to heat that thing up even more or death will be everywhere in a minute!" the dark being said menacingly and intimidatingly as he flew towards her and destroyed the ground even more than before.
She reaches her again, but this time massive debris is thrown at her, so she quickly raises her sword and moves into a defensive position. He punched her unexpectedly, but she noticed his fists and instead of punching her directly, he punched the blade of her sword with great force.
The ground they are standing on has sunk and been destroyed, leaving a small crater for both of them. She tightened her grip on her sword as the dark being's eyes widened as he saw her withstand his fists. That caused his eyes to widen and he smile brightly as dark energy began to circle up around his right fist, which had collided with the blade of her sword.
"I can feel that strange heat! Your sword is different. It's differently forged," he said as he raised his right leg and stepped with great force into the ground, breaking it even more. A loud cracking noise was heard as she was suddenly pushed back. Her veins are visible in her right hand and her left hand, which is clutching her sword tightly. She realized the unknown had only been using its right hand. She lowered her head and noticed his left hand about to strike her in the face.
She immediately crouches, avoids his fist, and jumps backwards. She swung her sword to his fist and did nothing before jumping backward and stopping the collision. His fist did not flinch and was not slashed as soon as it reached it. Her eyes widened as she slid into the ground, returning to the soldiers. She looked into the darkness, seeing him smile and giggle.
